Loves, LOVES to cuddle with you

His love language is physical touch, so he actually needs cuddles from you his lovely s/o

Initially, he is a bit shy to cuddle with you. You would have to suggest it and be the one to initiate it at first. Even then he’ll be a bit awkward, laughing a bit too often to brush off his nervousness. He wouldn’t be totally obvious, but the moment you lay on his chest - his arms finally secured around your waist instead of hanging in the air, wondering where to go - his heart is hammering.

If you comment on it, or tease him, he’ll be a flustered mess. His facade would finally drop and he’d bury his head into your shoulder, or hug you tightly so your face is buried in his chest to obscure your view of his face.

However, if you show him mercy, even though he never returns this favour with his flustering antics - gently rubbing his back, or playing with his hair will calm him down. He would sigh softly, shutting his eyes and basking in your scent.

The affection and closeness is surreal to him.

If you’re really gentle with this man, he’ll break slightly. He might tear up a little, but he would never let you see. It would take months, maybe even a year of being together, or establishing cuddling and affection a routine for him to really let you see him vulnerable.

Eventually, he is completely relaxed with the idea. He would initiate it far more often. Even as far as sneaking you into his office, and seating you on his lap and hugging you while he finishes up some dull paperwork. More often that not you both fell asleep in his office’s coach, legs and arms entangled with each other.

Only in his office though. Kaeya is fine with PDA, to a certain extent. He wouldn’t try to keep your relationship a secret, but he wouldn’t go out of his way to try to hide it either. Very neutral. He would hold your hand in public, and plant a quick kiss in town square if he won’t see you until dinner, but nothing more. Such intimacy like cuddling is reserved behind his closed doors: his office, or your shared home.

He usually asks for cuddles often. Without words whenever he’s not feeling well. Kaeya gets headaches, and being in your arms is the best pain reliever. Especially when you massage his scalp - the man turns into pudgy in your hands.

But mostly HES A TEASE… he flusters you so much. He’s usually a big spoon, and he tries to keep you on your toes out of fear you’ll get bored of him. With time he’ll become more comfortable, and he’ll be big spoon / little spoon interchangeably. He likes them both, it depends on his mood.

Teasing little snark = big spoon and grumpy, sad baby = little spoon

All in all, this man feels the most love when you both cuddle and he is EXTREMELY touch-starved for obvious reasons. Please just hold him😭😭

Thoma

SUCH A CUDDLE BUG

Golden retriever personality - he’s literally so happy to be by your side

Will get a bit shy at first, but he’s more excited than nervous

Face will get very flustered and the man is super blushy - loves to hold you or be held

Sometimes when he’s tired, he will just plop his head into your lap and ask you to play with his hair

Will give puppy dog eyes if you are too busy to cuddle him <3333

He will gently run his fingers through your hair, gently rubbing your back as you both fall to sleep together. His hands are warm because of his vision, but not too warm. On cold nights you will seek him out in your sleep, and by instinct, he’ll lazily wrap his arm around your waist and let you nuzzle into his side without even opening his eyes.

Has (more than once) lifted you up off your feet and fell back onto the coach with you on his chest. He’ll loosely wrap his arms around you and laugh at your cute squeak.

If you both cuddle a while, he’ll ask if you get hungry and you will have to physically prevent him from cooking up a storm for you for no reason🥺🥺

Kazuha

Not much of a cuddlier ACTUALLY

The man likes them, and will always say yes if you ask, but it’s not something’s he’d seek out on his own

Usually

Somedays when he’s tired.. he may lean his head on your shoulder, which usually ends up with you both laying down underneath a blanket a starts

Cuddles on the beach. Kazuha will let you snuggle up to him even if it means getting sand in his hair and scolds from the screw of lugging sand on the deck. He usually rests a hand on the small of your back, nothing more

Super content and calm with you, he loves you so much <333

He will recite poems to you, 99% of them are about you.

Kazuha talks to you. In these quiet moments, he’ll recite all his poems to you - SPOILER : they’re 99% about you

However, sometimes they aren’t, and you can tell. The words sound as they were stuck undersea, pulled from its depth and left to rot on the shore.

You hold him in these moments. His feelings are always fleeting, and not even the wind knows how you’re able to make them stay, long enough for the warmth of your embrace to soothe his heartaches.

Notes: Prolly ooc? Not proofread. Diluc my beloved. I started running out of ideas after the seventh sentence. Fun fact Diluc was my first Genshin main. Omg me posting early for once. I believe your rivalry with Diluc started when you guys were children. You made an offhanded comment about the Knights of Favonius – and thus your rivalry formed. 

Well, more like the comment made you two have a falling out which then formed the tension between you guys which then spiraled into a ‘rivalry’.

I say rivalry tentatively seeing how it formed by you two being children who had strong beliefs and were not willing to hear or understand the other party’s side.

Honestly the whole falling out was really stupid. You just thought (and still think) that the Knights of Favonius were extremely shady and most of them couldn’t get anything done, which angered little Diluc seeing how he looked up to his father and wanted to meet his father’s expectation of becoming a knight. 

Throughout the years you saw Diluc but you never really talked to him for fear of starting another argument. The only reason you saw him is that you were somewhat close to Kaeya, but even then when Kaeya and Diluc had a decent relationship the interactions you had with Diluc were extremely…awkward.

The ‘rivalry’ ended around the time of Diluc’s Eighteenth Birthday. There are three main reasons for this.

One. After Diluc’s father passed away, the “relationship”  you two barely maintained was almost nonexistent at that point. Diluc locked himself away from everyone while you decided it would be best to limit your interactions between both Diluc and Kaeya seeing how they just lost their father/father figure.

Two. Diluc focused more on his rivalry with Kaeya. Seeing how Kaeya had revealed all his lies and they had a huge argument over it; Diluc focused more on that than the comment you made several years ago. 

Three. He finally understood why you thought about the Knights of Favonius that way. 

I believe you guys started talking more after he came back from Snezhnaya. 

You went to Angel Share’s to get a drink around closing time for whatever reason and you saw him cleaning a glass when you entered. You guys proceeded to have a staring contest after that. 

“Diluc, when did you get back?” “I got back a few days ago [Name].” “I see…Where did you go?” “Snezhnaya.”

He made you a drink based on his recommendation and you guys just caught up. 

You guys hung out a lot more after that. Just you showing up at Angel Share and you guys just talking about basic life stuff. You might even take night shifts there just to hang out more.

I also think Diluc would try to go places with you. Like if you had a commission and other errands to do – it just gives him more of an excuse to be around you.

This ties in with his love language being quality time. (Plus physical affection. He’s not very big on PDA though.)

He’d definitely catch feelings first and confess first.

Diluc strikes me as the type of guy who would try to gaslight himself out of being in love and then feel bad about it. 

The way he asked you out was really sweet and simple, but he was super embarrassed 

“[Name] are you free this evening?” Diluc asks, diverting his eyes away from yours. “Yeah, I am. What”s up?” “Great, it’s a date – I’ll meet you at your place this evening.” 

You didn’t have time to respond seeing how he left immediately after that. It’s not like you would have refused, you just found the whole thing a little funny.

You guys had dinner and went on a little walk around Mondstadt before it was time for him to enter Batman Darknight Hero mode. 

You guys had a few more dates before you became ‘official’. 

On the date he asked you to be his significant other he told you how he’s banned from entering Snezhnaya.

“Diluc, you’ve been to Snezhnaya before, right? Perhaps one day we can go together – I heard there are a lot of fun things to do there…” You said looking at your feet. “[Name] I’m banned from entering Snezhnaya…” You look Diluc dead in the eyes “Excuse me, what?” “...[Name] how do you feel about being my significant other?”

Honestly, it took him longer than he would like to ask you to be his S/O; but this wasn’t too much of an issue seeing how he asked you on all your dates with the intention of being partners in the future (and seeing how you said yes intending to be partners in the future). He never answered your question though, but you had a feeling his ban had something to do with his hatred for the Fatui.

Overall Diluc is a soft lover. He loves spending time with you and he is quite upset that you guys had a rough relationship as children seeing how he would have been able to be with you sooner if that wasn’t the cause. Diluc is a 10/10 partner – please spend time with him because he adores being around you.

OCMC and HysHum are pretty much me just absolutely fueled by either pure simping or gremlin behavior hehehe. The Dainsleif vs Lumine rivalry brain rots I had kept me up at night in this one so much. Something about Dain poetically being your most loyal servant despite not (wanting to) believing that you are indeed the "creator" and Lumine just going "Stop being delulu, they ARE the creator." hAHAHHAHAHAHA. There's just so much going on in my head. Talking about the archons here would be deep spoiler territory, but Baizhu being the one to give you your new name, Yelan implied to know about your secret and is testing the waters, Kaeya being your only somewhat-reliable confidant (and Alhaitham out there not giving a sht at all since he's focused on a certain elf lmao) is just my jam

...as for the sad news, I kind of "retired" from writing. Don't get me wrong- I do love writing the fic, A LOT, however, I'm not sure if it would be a "smart move" for me to do since I know I'm bound to get busier and busier. Additionally, not a lot of people in this world are Lumine-Dainsleif simps like you and I (hahahuhuhuhu...) so I feel like I'm just talking to a void when writing these sorts of things. My friends and I often make jokes about how my least effort writings are the ones that get more traction than the ones I research and pour my blood, sweat, and tears on. Ok, I'm just gonna say this right off the bat, Kaeya thinks you're so cute.

He will literally lay in his bed and giggle and kick his feet while thinking about you

He will constantly tease you about your height but he actually loves it sm

He tries to get you to do more active things with him to open you up to more opportunities and things you may enjoy<3

Your go-to date idea is def an ice skating date

(until the ice melts........... Try not to drown because I don't think you can swim very well with ice skates on)

Just had some Simple Sanctuary AU stuff Id like to share :))

(Note this is leading more towards a modern AU Kinda thing)

The Teyvat Sanctuary is a preservation programs of all endangered creatures located in the giant country of Teyvat. One of those creatures are Abyssmal Creatures simply just called "Legacies". Many different kind of Legacies exist but all are severely endangered, so far as they could tell most if not all creatures found were Male and they appear to be immortal but still low enough in quantity for those to deem them endangered

You, a volunteer worker at the Sanctuary often worked with the Legacies and they enjoy your company. They have certain activities they like doing with you, Childe, a marine variant, called a "Foul legacy": enjoys Cuddling, Diluc, An avian Variant called a "Darknight Legacy" like to give you things like small ammounts of mora and shiny rocks. Albedo, the "Dragonspine Legacy" was a massive beast made up of Chalk and other minerals he often liked to watch documentaries with you and loved to observe different animals around the enclosure. And there are many more Variants as more reveal themselves.

They all love ur company and wouldn't like it any other way.

Childe doesn't reciprocate the dislike, though, and the few times he's seen Diluc he's chirped with curiosity!! but Diluc's always willing to set aside his wariness of Childe if it means he gets to snuggle with you and the other two <33

and just recently you received a message about a new Legacy that was found!! the "Khaenri'ah Legacy", named Kaeya, and your coworkers are relying on your ability to bond with Legacies to get him accustomed to his new home!!

Lady Ningguang 

Ningguang is not one to pay less attention to details like time. To her, time is important and not a moment of it is worth wasting. She always gets her hand to work, her lips to negotiate certain trades in Liyue, and her mind on opportunities that could help her gain more mora.

When it comes to you though, time never becomes a waste. Whatever situation you two have before you is manageable and exciting.

She wouldn't really be worried at first, that is until the night sky had already covered Liyue and you are nowhere inside the Jade Chamber.

She feels uneasy, like there is a missing part of her. Suddenly, you burst open the door, rushing to get inside the Jade Chamber absolutely soaking wet (I would be for Ningguang too) and you go sneaking your way through your bedroom on tippy toes because you already know how stupid it was for you not to inform Ningguang of your late arrival but Ningguang and you lock eyes as she sat by her desk, drinking her second glass of tea. Yours probably had turned cold.

You feel embarrassed. Shy. Ningguang looks at you with combined expressions. Its like a mix of worry, surprise, and "why did you not tell me?" look. You just, stare. A long stare at each other. Then you open your mouth, no words come out. Second try. Nothing still. Third, "I just-" Okay you failed, one more time. "I wandered too far when picking up berries." You said, admitting your recklessness. It sounds so stupid you want to cover your face.

She asks you where you have been, what happened, if you're alright or if you're hurt. She wraps you with a blanket, calls her servants to give you things of comfort, cooks for you, and chats for a while as you eat though she frankly admits that she's disappointed her sleeping schedule is ruined and worse, that you didn't concern yourself of her or at least thought about her might staying up until you go home late after "picking berries".

You were actually hanging out with Beidou on her ship because she invited you while you we're picking berries and ended up being naughty kids on wine. Beidou may or may not have been drunk and nudged you too hard while laughing at a joke that you fell out of the ship and onto the seawater. Sailor Furong had to help you out lmao.

Drinks along with The Crux members at dusk, enjoying a good time for rest then starts to notice your missing presence. Her loudness suddenly ending into confused silence.

Literally pauses and looks around the ship with a "Where are they?" type of face for she was expecting you.

"They're supposed to be here." She says and The Crux members look around for a sign of you.

Although she did covince the others you'll be on the ship soon and maybe you just had been a little late to arrive, she has a feeling you're not... coming? "What's going on?" Her mind echoes.

She's confident in trusting you & thought maybe you had been busy. Deep down this woman wants to explore all of Teyvat to find you because this is the only time she won't be sailing, why in Teyvat are you not with her?

She has a match to host later night & it will take long months before she experiences another day without work in mind. Don't get her wrong, Beidou loves sailing & hosting duels but the fact that she rarely sees you due to it makes her miss you. Although she just straight up hides it.

She complains slightly about you not being on the ship & tells everyone in The Crux that she's leaving the ship to find you. Fully determined & willing to find her friend who's the perfect companion when it comes to compatible humor, she sets down the ship to the grounds of Liyue Harbor.

Starts asking everyone at Liyue Harbor on where you might've been incuding Lady Ningguang who apologetically says no and Beidou low-key feels irritated and confused about it. Though, she doesn't make it obvious because... isn't she at the highest place, can't she just- like- look down and find you?

Looks down from the Jade Chamber, filled with determination to find you because the flood of worry is filling her head. Her mind is a pool of thoughts on things that might've happened to you.

Did you ride the ship and fell off by accident and nobody noticed? No. The Crux is well aware of visitors on the ship and there were none.

She starts to slowly lose hope but proceeds to find you anyway, asking here and there that even Xiangling can't help but notice the concern written all over her face. That is until the clock hit midnight and she is so upset her time was wasted over finding you and not being able to find you afterall.

She is pissed. She knows how to control her emotions so she just considers it an automatic "it's okay" type of situation though she'll scold you a bit and let you know that she was expecting you and- archons- just- why aren't you with her? You promised that every dusk, you'll be ready to ride the ship which happens most of the time and you never fail to inform her when you're not going.

Soon enough, she walks back to the ship only to... see you, there.

Beidou feels so tired of everything. If she was reckless, she would've left her sanity at this point. She spent 5 hours looking for you and how absolutely amazing that you were in the ship afterall. (She's dying inside, poor captain) She could've drank, laughed, joked, and discussed many things if only you informed her you'd be arriving late. She feels like much time had been wasted & she couldn't help being bothered. Of course she's calling you out to The Crux cause she's disappointed.

That disappointment gets brushed away the moment you smile at her happily, even hugging her on the way. You looked fancy & smelled nice, she had noticed.

"I went to Yun Jin's opera! She always bedazzles me!" You excitedly say, your words coming out a bit slurred due to the wine & Beidou rolls her eyes. You've been there all along and she didn't find you amidst the crowd. She wants to slap herself.

"Oh, did you enjoy it? How about informing me next time that you're not coming?"

Her tone suddenly catches you off guard. Uhm... is she angry? You were really thinking deep about it. Uh oh.

"I'm going now. Ship's sailing. To the island, we go! We have a match to host."

She walks back to the ship & you accompany her, mumbling words of apology while she whispers how worried she is of you.

Back at it again to make more Diluc angsty Chaos but I’m uno reversing now and making it Childe

Diluc is probably Childe’s first relationship EVER, he’s used to hookups and flings and he thought he might’ve had a chance with Zhongli that came to an end rather fast.

Childe would try his best for Diluc, he’d take care of him, protect him and do whatever he could for Diluc. To him, he probably sees taking care of Diluc just as important as his mission and promise to the Tsarista (idk if I spelt that right)

On the day he accidentally hurts Diluc however is another story. He knows Diluc can handle anything physical that he may end up doing on accident but emotionally and mentally? That sticks with Childe everyday, he may not say anything about it but it’s clear he’s upset with himself for saying something that might’ve triggered Diluc to spiral a bit or maybe even hit a nerve

He knows to give Diluc space afterwards but he doesn’t want Diluc thinking he wishes to cause him harm on purpose so he backs off for a bit longer than what Diluc’s used to and it stresses Diluc out bc he’s gotten so used to having him there that it doesn’t feel right to him when he’s gone. He’d spiral into a panic and try to hide it thinking Childe’s finally gotten tired when in reality Childe’s probably off asking Kaeya 101 questions about Diluc so he knows better next time

When he goes back to Diluc though, the doors probably locked so he’ll sneak in through the window instead and his firefly is asleep without him, normally Diluc waits for him, doesn’t sleep without him and now he’s not sure if it’s okay to crawl in

Diluc’s a light sleeper though and when he rolls over Childe can see the red in his eyes from crying and the even darker circles under his pretty eyes as well, Diluc’s tired and he just wants Childe back

He’d try so hard to calm himself and not cry bc he can’t handle losing someone he cares about, regardless of circumstances and after 5 days of leaving out of the blue Diluc started to believe he’d lost Childe

Childe’s quick to reassure him, run to his side and wipe his tears but his heart breaks a little when he hears Diluc softly say “Don’t leave me please” in his arms, Childe’s a bit stunned bc Diluc’s been working on being more vulnerable, sure, but this is another level of vulnerability. He can hear it in the waiver of his voice and he can feel it by the grip he has on his shirt, Diluc’s mind is back to the day his father died and Childe NEVER wants him to feel like he has to protect him let alone feel like he’ll leave him just like that.

Childe explains in between a flurry of kisses all over his baby face that there’s no way he’d go down without a fight

He probably goes to get Diluc a ton more books and different pens and ink colors for him as gifts bc Childe’s love language would be anything physical and gifts <3

Ok. First, you underestimate my ability to take angst. Since middle school, I've been writing fanfiction and been on Tumblr since high school. And I was cringy was all fuck. I will say I am not a 'hurt/no comfort' person cause tbh a lot of that ends up being super unbelievable to me, but that is just me.

I think Diluc and Childe are both pretty fresh to relationships. I totally agree with the childe flings and hook up. Just because those are easier and, in a way, fit him.

Wherewith Diluc, he didn't have any interest. Or was under pressure to only do what would be best for his family (most likely pressured to look at Jean for marriage).

So they both have a lot to learn relationship-wise.

I can totally see Childe accidentally probably making a joke about dying or something that just caused Diluc to stiffen up and snap at Childe. Then instantly apologizing or doing something that triggers Diluc's PTSD. And Diluc trying to brush it off.

Childe would hate that more than any. But He's determined to fix things.

And when already on edge, the last thing Diluc needs is to be alone. But bro. I love crying together, and I love it so much.

Also, I think Childe is defiantly a physical affection kind of guy. Diluc might not be. But Diluc also is very much a gift-giver too. They both trade gifts constantly as just things that remind them of each other. Diluc Also writes letters and sneaks them into CHilde's pockets. Because he can't always say what he wants to, he'll do his best to communicate it somehow.
