i'm an abuse victim too and i've always felt wary of ppl who are rigidly antis bc of this argument but specifically i've noticed with killing stalking, while not condoning the abuse, it's not being respected for what it is, and that's whats upsetting survivors. the tag is full of jokes that straight up trivialize sexual abuse and how yoobum is interpreted by the fans scares me. it's harder for me to defend the reality vs. fiction thing when fans r making me want to puke

I know what you're talking about and completely respect it. Personally, I just ignore the fans. There's always gonna be stupid people, and I refuse to let them stop me from enjoying something. But I can see why someone else might shy away from the subject, I just don’t want to stop liking something because some of it’s followers are fucked up.
