Girlfriends

here I was, questioning my existence, when i didn't even realise its (they're) walking along with me.

female friendships are so deep and fixated, they're so pure and so lovely. They keep me up till sunrise, make me smile when I don't have it in me to shine. Angels sent from heaven to heal me, every time, i look out for the divine, i always realise, i have them, they're mine.

you heal me.

I love them so much. so fucking much I'm crying. they give me a reason to live when I see everything crashing down. They push me up, in tiny tiny huge ways. I think I've grown so much, when they have practically raised me. Be it a stranger from the internet or the girl who saved me a seat when we were tiny. They are, and always will be, my lords, my amighty.

"Stranger" seems like such an offensive word to say to these princesses,

when they have felt like my safe spaces

before I even realized they really were, are, and forever will be the reason of my existence.

YOU are the cause of my existence.

They've healed the scars they never even created,

they've held me close every time I was mistreated,

reminded me I don't deserve to be hated,

but rather a canvas, waiting to be painted.

I see the love, time and effort they've dedicated,

Oh, the grace in which my angels have operated.

Every word, emotion, sincerity they've collated,

to love me, my dear, I'm serenaded.

A: One recurring dream I have involves my grandfather's house, which was a place of immense joy during my childhood.
