Dark and Shallow Lies Book Review

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐋𝐢𝐞𝐬 is a YA novel with a combination of fantasy, supernatural, paranormal & mystery- thriller set of themes that pretty much the major reason that really hooked me. Followed with our set of characters that just seemed mysterious, filled with secrets and at the same intriguing & complicated alongside with the creepy town and urban myth/ mystery killer that just added the already burning intrigue I had for the book.

I definitely was spooked until the very end. The combination of the plot theme was cool, how they assisted each other and how it was also played out. I think this part is what I enjoyed the most. Although the writing is good and how it was suited for the theme of the story, I just felt that it was too slow and dragging in some parts.
