Scene from the fanfic (yet to be published) translated to comic :>
Tumblr media
Thanks to some friends on Discord asking about it, my mind had to see this for itself too!
Context, leading up to this moment, please see below the Keep reading :>
Newtwo and Mewtwo had been following Okita and Rachael through a forest in the Unova region for weeks on end. Newtwo had sensed a familiar aura coming from a human campsite and decided to check it out. Newtwo was puzzled and horrified that another mewtwo had been created, until she got close enough and felt Okita's aura whilst she slept (facing up, in that moment).
It was her daughter. The child that was taken before birth. She wanted to get her brother to make sure she wasn't imaging it.

Life is a gift, my friend, a beautiful and precious one at that.
Just like when you embark on the journey of learning a new language, it can be filled with challenges and uncertainties.
But remember, every day is a chance to unwrap this incredible gift.
You might have fears, doubts, and reservations along the way. That's absolutely normal.
Just like in language learning, where pronunciation or grammar can be daunting, life can throw unexpected curveballs.
But know this, I've got your back.
Just as I'm here to guide you through the intricacies of Hebrew, life's challenges can also be conquered.
In our journey together, let's make this experience feel like talking to a friend face to face.
I want to understand your fears and concerns, so we can tackle them together.
Building trust and familiarity, creating that personal connection, is key.
So, my friend, remember that life is a gift meant to be cherished, just like the beauty of language.
We're in this together, facing the unknown with the knowledge that we can overcome anything that comes our way.

If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self transformation.

Chapter 3: Gift of Life
Narrated by Nightbane.
~Content Warning: violence, blood, abuse/torture~
Narrator: My poor and lovely playwright wrote a perfect play for me.
Choose either “What script?” or “What are you going to do?”
If “script,” ...
You: What kind of script is this?
Narrator: Don’t worry, wait a little longer and you’ll see.
If “going,” ...
You: I don’t understand. What do you want to do?
Narrator: Don’t worry, you have to learn to hold your breath and wait before the best performance begins.
--
Narrator: A luxurious carriage stopped at the theater, the well-dressed gentleman and his servant got out in front of the gatekeeper.
Gatekeeper: Good afternoon, dear sir. What can I do for you?
Playwright: I can’t believe you’re still guarding the door... You!
Gatekeeper: Do you know me, sir? It’s my pleasure!
Narrator: In the face of the obsequious face of the gatekeeper, he couldn’t help but sneer.
Head Chief: You must be Earl Ives! I didn’t expect you to come so quickly. I’m Johnson, head of the theater. Nice to meet you!
Playwright: Hello, Commander Johnson.
Playwright: As mentioned in my letter, I came with a large fund and my work, hoping to work with the theater to create a grand magic show.
Head Chief: Of course, Monsieur. I’m glad to be at your service! I’ve read your script, and it will be the best performance of the century!
Narrator: Human beings are ridiculous, preferring to believe in looks and lies rather than talent and truth.
Narrator: The gimmick performance soon attracted almost the whole town.
Narrator: On the opening night of the magic show, the largest hall of the theater was full.
Playwright: Ladies and gentlemen, you’re all very lucky to be here to watch this magic show.
Playwright: The gods have chosen you and brought you to me.
Narrator: It’ll be a unique performance and will never be performed again in any theater.
Playwright: I sincerely invite everyone in the audience to work with me to complete my masterpiece.
Playwright: Let’s start with the best magic show of the century.
Narrator: The playwright clapped, opened a huge box in the middle of the stage, and took out of it a delicate and beautiful doll.
Narrator: The doll turned her head, showing a sweet and beautiful smile, as if she had a real soul.
Playwright: Hello, Miss Doll.
Doll: Hi.
Narrator: The doll turned her head as if somewhat stuck and looked at the audience.
Doll: Are these the people who will give me my soul?
Narrator: The audience who heard the doll speak burst into excitement.
Narrator: I wandered around the theater, watching everyone’s surprised and excited soul, holding my breath and waiting.
Narrator: The music of the music box started playing, and the doll in the middle of the stage began to sing.
Doll: The ignorant doll opens her eyes... along the track of time...
Doll: The little doll longs for the soul... and looks forward to life...
Doll: The lonely doll stretched out... and the soul came because of hugging...
Narrator: The doll danced on the stage, singing
Playwright: After tonight’s magic, the real soul will come!
Playwright: Now, the stage is yours!
Playwright: What kind of soul do you want to give to the doll? Please choose your own behavior according to your own will.
Playwright: After you reveal yourself, the magic of miracles will happen.
Narrator: The playwright exited and many different props appeared around the doll.
A Row of Young Ladies: Look! What... what are those? Roses, honey, diamonds...
Gentleman Aside: Thorns, daggers, pistols...
Squire with Beard: ...Can we really do anything?
Man Aside: Let me have a try!
Narrator: Do you need me to tell you what happened next?
Narrator: Maybe you don’t want to hear the story that happened after that, but it was the most enjoyable performance I’ve ever seen!
Gentleman with Top Hat: Lovely girl, let me give you this lily that symbolizes purity.
Narrator: He took the doll and kissed the back of her hand.
Blonde Young Lady: This pearl hairpin matches your clothes better. It will make you look better.
Narrator: She put on a pearl hairpin for the doll.
Reckless Man: ...Your arms are as delicate as white porcelain and will look sweeter with honey.
Blonde Girl: Oh, my God, what are you doing? She’s bleeding!
Young Woman in Purple: I just saw the dagger there... I... I didn’t do anything.
Redheaded Lady: But she really didn’t resist.
Blue-Collar Gentleman: She’s just a doll.
Lady in Formal Dress: Oh, poor Lily, your skin is so smooth, your hair is so blonde and your face is so beautiful. But you’re just a doll!
Narrator: The sharp blade cut her skin to make it no longer smooth, and the scissors cut off her blond hair to make it no longer bright.
Gentleman in Black: She’s obviously just a doll... but look at her innocent and frightened look!
Teacher with Eyes Covered: How cruel... I hope this will be over soon.
Ridiculed Miss: It’s just a show.
Narrator: The ladies and gentlemen watched with anger, but they didn’t stop the violence, hide their excitement, or look away.
Narrator: This is the real hell on earth.
Narrator: How boring it is to dress yourself in civilized clothes and make yourself up with virtues and rules!
Narrator: How lovely people are to show their evil nature!
Narrator: The wonderful magic begins in this hell on earth.
Doll: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your gift!
Narrator: The doll on the ground with a broken leg stood upright, her broken leg sloshing under her torso.
Narrator: She took off her hat and bowed gracefully.
Doll: In order to show my gratitude, I’ll repay the treasures I have received one by one.
Narrator: There was a funny smile on the doll’s broken face.
Doll: Ignorant doll opened her eyes... and followed the path before she dies...
Gentleman A: No, no! You want to do what?! Ah... guard! Guard!
Doll: Little doll longs for the soul... and looks forward to coming back...
Lady B: Blood... Blood! What did you do to my face?!
Doll: The lonely doll opens her arms... and her soul will eventually come...
Gentleman B: My hand! My hand! I didn’t do anything. I didn’t do anything!
Narrator: This was how souls were sacrificed. People stared at the doll as if they saw something scary and didn’t know themselves.
Narrator: Why can’t people face up to who they really are?
Playwright: Whine! Wail! This is the hell on earth you live in! Desperate struggle in this purgatory and you can never get away!
Narrator: My doll has accepted all the evil of the humans and learned to use these dark forces.
Narrator: She’s a perfect piece of work.

Wake Up Inside
“Morning is wonderful. Its only drawback is that it comes at such an inconvenient time of day.”― Glen Cook, Sweet Silver Blues Anyone who has a phone starts the day fighting with his or her alarm clock and desperately negotiating the matter over a snooze button. Resting in general is crucial for the wellness of our being, but as in anything, too much of something is always bad. It makes one…

Time to Stop, Look and Be Blessed
Last Sunday was the first Sunday of Advent. We’re making the trek to Bethlehem and the night that Christ was born. Today, the second candle that represents peace will be lit. New Audio: Brainstory Shares Lush and Slow-Burning "Gift of Life"
New Audio: Brainstory Shares Lush and Slow-Burning "Gift of Life" @Brainstory00 @bigcrownrecords @El_Michels @grandstandhq @shazi_la
Rialto, CA-based soul outfit Brainstory — siblings Kevin (vocals, guitar) and Tony Martin (bass) and Eric Hagstrom (drums) — can trace their origins to the shared common denominator of jazz: With no real music scene in California’s Inland Empire, Kevin Martin and Eric Hagstrom both landed in music school, where they met. Tony Martin relocated to San Francisco, where he studied jazz bass in a more…
