Wait what did Arthur and Prema do??

I’m fairly new to f2 and f3 so not really aware of a lot lmao

ok so Arthur and Gianluca Petecof (brazilian, now currently at brazilian stock car) were teammates at FRECA (which is basically formula 3.5 because the jump from f4 to f3 is a bit large). they were both in Prema, both on the fight for the championship and the deal was that whoever won got an available seat for them at F3 (a big deal since at that point prema had gotten two championships in a row in f3).

important: both of them were ferrari driver academy at the time, but gianluca was w them through a backing from shell while arthur had leclerc and todt tax. the shell sponsorship didn’t pay everything though and gianluca only had money from them for the first half of the season and almost didn’t run the second half, but managed to make enough sponsorship deals to clinch the rest

so, gianluca takes it, a lot being from his own personal talent and a lot from arthur bottling his chances. in theory, prema should prioritise him as they had been saying. in practice, arthur takes the seat anyway and goes to f3. excuses are made over the negotiations (gianluca didn’t have enough money and that is a fact bc shell decided to drop him even though he won, which also led to him leaving the fda. 500k from the FREC prize money + his sponsors was tricky) but the fact is there shouldn’t really been any negotiations from the way they led the guys on during the championship.

where we stand is: gianluca managed to skim some more sponsors and took his cash to campos for a seat in f2 (best cost/benefit at the time). he didn’t particularly flop as the campos wasn’t a great car but he ran out of money quickly and adrian campos (team owner) had just died unexpectedly so basically they let him go. now we have a guy who could have gone further into his formula career stuck doing stock car in brazil. brutal out here. prema is still prema, doing ok or whatever. arthur is still a small fish in the ferrari system, so he is safe in the FDA as long as charles is there and nicholas todt too. i’m not particularly mad at arthur bc he was a teen at the time and obvs there is deeper todt fuckery. i suppose i do resent him because he hasn’t capitalised so far on the seat to at least justify the choice done. you could say that gianluca’s lack of cash was the only reason and tbh it’s more than enough but considering how he had already moved mountains to finish the season at FREC, prema did very dirty in leading him on the way they did knowing fully well he was broke.

Com grid invertido era para o Daniel Serra  largar  na frente más teve problemas e então que “puxou o grid” foi o Lucas Foresti

Na 2a volta foi colocado sefitycar na pista por causa do carro do Bruno Babtista que ficou parado na pista.

Durante a grande parte do momento em que os carros não tinham feito a parada obrigatória o lider era o Ricardo Mauricio

Após as paradas obrigatórias o melhor posicionado foi o Atila Abreu 

O 2º colocado era o Ricardo Zonta e o 3º Rubens Barrichello

No final da penúltima volta Atila de uma escapada que fez Zonta baixar a diferença
