Why doesn't the justice league know about Amity Park?
Okay so it's been a bit sonce I watched the show but one of the things in DpxDC is the anti-ecto acts, which I love, but correct me if I'm wrong, I THINK ??? they only show up in reality trip? SO:
What if Danny, when using the gauntlet to undo everything, also got rid of the Anti-Ecto acts? but this is babys first time editing reality so he uh
Fucks Up A Lil'.
As a result when Danny used the reality gauntlet to wipe the AEA from existence he accidentally wiped Amity Park from perception.
A big 'nothing matters over here' jedi mind trick, and now no ones looking at Amity.
So, the Justice League actually WERE looking into and monitoring the situation in Amity, but when the perception filter closed them off, all of that suddenly went ignored.
This is noticed when someone (Alfred, Dick, Tim, literally anyone) realises theres just. A BIG dusty pile of case files semi abandoned somewhere in the cave when going through a (time period)ly cave cleaning.
They put it down because it's Not Important.
They come back to finish the cleaning the next day and do the exact same thing, but there's nothing to actually distract them this time and it pings as weird. Because why would case files be not important? They are by definition important, because only things flagged as important go into case files.
They try to get someone else to read it, because as long as they don't read the information in the file, they don't put it down.
That person goes to read it, gets a line in and then says something like 'that isn't important' and goes to leave. Person A pushes it and person B ALSO catches on.
Que the Batfam trying to figure out hey, what the fuck actually?
Meanwhile, how is Amity fairing? Canon compliant everything's going alright? Or have knock on effects to No One Look Here started to show?

i had a dream that the clouds looked like you, pink in the sunset. you were the ghost of a lighthouse and when we fell in love all your shackles fell off in great grey chunks. we became fish-squid-humans, unkillable and round as the sun. our children were whales, and we grew past the size of cruise ships. i cursed poachers with my own blood; only to relent, knowing the pain of drowning just close-enough, warning them: do better. be well. don't make a mistake you can't come back from.
how quietly you've slipped inside me, little seal shifting me under the water. this little dance we are both stepping, our hands just-quite not-touching. like mermaids, sometimes i think our form is the shape of the ocean. sometimes i think we are too horribly human, too terrified of the rip and torrent.
i have thought about my hand in your hair enough, and the curve of your cheekbone, and how you wait for a moment to gather your thoughts before telling a joke. i have thought about the tension that grows in cables between us, a little spined bridge neither of us will cross unless the situation dramatically shifts. i have thought about the way you tilt your head when considering something i blurted, how you show just-half of your smile when you know more than i did.
what even are you two? she asks me, stirring her coffee, her brows knitting. i shrug noncommittally.
somewhere, we are mermaids, eternally. in this world, for now - i tell her: i think we're just... enjoying.

Congrats again on your well deserved milestone, lovely! 🥳❤️
If it sparks the muse, I would LOVE a drabble of WAM!Steve and Cole. I was so intrigued by their first part and how you wrote their dynamic and how Steve was a low key motherhen. I’d love to see more of him teaching Cole how to vampire!! Thank you! 🙏🏻
Thank you, Siri!! I so appreciate your support. 💜💜
Oh, the muse sparked hard. I wrote this one in a blink. Their dynamic is so fun for me. I hope you enjoy!
This is a few years after Steve takes Cole in.
And Gentle Persuasion
Characters: Dark!Steve Rogers, Soft!Dark Cole Turner
Warnings: blood, death, mind control, talk of humans as food, vampire stuff
We're All Monsters
“Cole.”
Cole looked up from where he was kneeling over the dead body. Steve was leaning against the door to the small cell, looking exasperated. Cole grimaced. “I don’t know how this happened,” he said.
Steve sighed and crouched down in front of him. “Yes, you do,” he said. “Tell me what happened this time.”
Cole stroked a finger down the now-dead young man’s cheek. “I just– I told him I loved him and wanted us to be together, you know? I wanted him to be mine. And he freaked out and I was just trying to calm him down, and maybe feed on him just a little, to show him how good it could be, but I was upset too. That he was being so unreasonable. And I guess I lost control.” He gestured to the blood that covered him and the floor of the cell.
Steve closed his eyes for a moment and took a breath. When he opened his eyes again, he fixed Cole with a stern look. “So,” he said, “the same thing as last time. Why didn’t you just compel him to agree to it?”
Cole looked down, embarrassed. “I wanted it to be real.”
“Honey, we’ve talked about this. You’re still trying to hang onto your humanity, but it’s gone. You aren’t human anymore, you’re something so much better. You need to start acting like it, finally embrace it. Humans, they’re just animals. They’re food. Pets at the very most. They are here to serve us. We want something from them, we take it. Any vampire who treats them as equals has lost touch with what we are. Do you understand?”
Cole nodded. He did. Or he was trying to. Steve had been over it with him so many times. Cutter, too. Everyone here, really. But. He’d just– he’d always wanted to find the one when he’d been human and he never had. He thought maybe now that he was something more, that power was thrumming through his veins and Steve had taught him how to harness it, that he’d finally be able to find someone. But he still hadn’t. Maybe Steve was right, maybe he was looking in the wrong place.
Steve placed a gentle hand on Cole’s cheek, pulling him from his thoughts. “You know I’m only this upset because you keep doing this to menu items. We won’t have anything left to serve at the bar at this rate.”
Cole leaned into Steve’s hand. “I know,” he whispered. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright, sweetheart,” Steve said and stood up. “Come on, I’ll have someone come clean this up.”
Cole stood up too and started to leave the cell, not looking back at the body. “Cutter’s gonna be pissed.”
Steve smiled, “Cutter’s always pissed. You leave her to me.” Cole took a few steps into the hallway before Steve stopped him with a hand on his shoulder. “Hey, if it’s just a feed and a fuck you need, you come to me and I’ll get it for you. You know I’ll always take care of you.”
Cole gave him a bashful grin back. “Yeah, I know,” he said and thought for the millionth time how lucky he was that Steve had been the one to find him.

thinking about the way ghost doesn't hesitate to start killing shadows when graves betrays them but soap only takes one hostage
you can almost hear the voice in his head telling him it doesn't have to be this way; they can still talk it out
"i'm calling shepherd"
his first instinct when confronted with betrayal is to play it by the books; to go up the chain and sort it out democratically. that goes against everything we've seen him do; he’s quick to drop his enemies and bucks authority at every chance except for the one time he's confronted with the barrels of his allies' guns
he wants a peaceful resolution; for the first time we've ever seen, he doesn't want violence to be the answer
there has to be another fix, a solution that doesn't end with him killing the same men he's been working with; his friends
nothing's happened yet
it doesn't have to go this way
but ghost has been betrayed before. he knows the way this ends; either with him six feet under or his enemy
he doesn't hesitate
it's only when they knock alejandro out that soap shoots; when they spill the first blood and cross a line they can never come back from
only when ghost orders him to run and he has to cover his retreat
and somewhere along the line, between civilians’ screams and taunting voices, between his shaking breath and ghost steady in his ear, that naivety is stripped away; his trust turned to teeth that he uses to sink into throats of men he'd have given his life for
"be careful who you trust, sergeant; people you know can hurt you the most"
he's learned the price of trust
just like ghost did
but unlike ghost, he has someone to guide him through the aftermath
"good advice, It"
