I know you all mean well! But you're...doing it wrong.

You're pushing the wrong people. The "Spreading Awareness" level has passed; now the entire world are aware of it. It's been 75 years! Everyone knows about this war.

These actors actresses singers and models? Their job is to look pretty. They're mildly wealthy. They don't have the power to help. They can't do anything for Palestine with their millions of followers anymore!

You should change your focus for the people who are REALLY powerful. Who can do something. Go attack the parliament, the embassy, your presidents! I don't know, you know your own country better. Especially USA and Britain, they're what's keeping israel in power.

Believe me and don't attack me for this.

I didn't specify above, but I'm iranian. Less than a year ago we were the focus of the news. I thank you for tweeting and posting i do but... It didn't change anything. Actually it's worse. It's gotten more dreadful than it's ever been in history, you guys can't imagine. Your loud voices didn't save us. Because the world's highest powers didn't want us to be saved.

im done declaring im not anti semitic

everytime i open my mouth for the Palesinian people, i get hit with the same questions and stares. "are you anti semitic, do you hate jews, are you a nazi, do you hate hitler, on and on and on" yall sound like a bunch of fucking idiots. im a fucking human, and above all I am a Muslim. I would never be anti semitic, I would never support Hitler, I do not wish death and destruction upon the Jews and those of the Jewish faith. My faith does not permit hatred.

It is so damn exhausting tho that everytime anyone, those on social media, or actual colleagues and peers support Palestine and basic fucking human rights, they feel the need to follow up with "i am not anti semitic" THATS WHAT THE FUCKING GOVERNEMENT WANTS YOU TO SAY. they have made this an issue of anti semitism when that is the last thing this genocide is. Even if it was Muslims oppressing Palestines, I would speak up. I see people making posts for Palestine but the main message is, "you can support palestine and still not hate jews, you can support palestine and not be a nazi" like stop making your underlying message that you are not anti semitic, make your underlying message that the Palestinians are struggling and they deserve freedom

so when i chant "free palestine" stop expecting me to say "im not anti semitic, i love jews" because this struggle and protest is not about my love for jews but about the liberation of Palestine and peace for the citizens of Palestinians, regardless of their faith.

How do you overlook/downplay the atrocities and breach of human rights in communist countries?

Can you please name all the huge, systemic atrocities committed by capitalist, developed nations? A few potential arguments would be homelessness/healthcare not being a human right, both of which don't even compare to the brutality seen even in the 'best' communist regimes.

And before any rebuttal of "those nations weren't developed when they did that!", neither were Russia nor China when the main thrusts of their horror stories happened. Those genocides and abuses that people fall back to describing (Holodomor, the Great Leap Forward, etc.) were their fucked up and wrong attempts to develop their countries. If we're exempting Capitalist systems their atrocities because "they weren't developed yet" then we need to do the same to communist countries/systems as well.
