Random life advice for anyone who needs to hear it:

Don't be embarrased or ashamed of the things that get you out of bed in the morning.

If you want to get up just so you can play the Sims, do it. For whatever reason, get out of bed. Otherwise you'll end up lying there wasting time on your phone, when you could have gotten up and actually done something you wanted to do.

Not speaking from experience or anything, of course 😅

#oh boy i am not doing well #I know the PMS is bad but like #everything is so overwhelming I've been incapable of doing anything except for doom scroll #getting up #eating #showering #i guess incapable is unfair i DO do it but like #i drag myself out of bed #it'll take me five hours to go to the gym #it'll take me another two hours when I'm there #taking a shower after is another hour #eating is like three or four #and the entire time all i want to do it is stop and sleep #i wake up dreading how long it's going to take me to do anything #and then i never want to go to sleep because i don't feel like I've earned it #I'm also realizing i have been majorly depressed since at least October but it might be earlier than that #like #nothing has been able to truly pull me out of it even after several cons and successful projects #and at least I'm recognizing it but that doesn't just vanish because you see it #i feel so constantly guilty and ashamed for being alive and struggling to do things everyone else can do #it's pretty much my first thought when i wake up and it doesn't stop for a second #.......i can't remember the last time i didn't feel like that honestly #it's really hard having a voice in the back of your head tell you that you're just sucking up resources and space #because you're alive #and it's even harder when your job is slow #and it's the worst when you're so fucking depressed overall you can't get up to use the extra time #and every time people ask what you've been up to you have to make up an answer that lets on that it's bad but like #not 'i don't want to go to sleep because going to sleep means i have to wake up' bad #and it's really hard to brute force yourself to get up every day for.....about nine months straight
