My first 20 years I spent thinking I was stupid cuz nothing was ever ´good´ or ´correct´ (it was fine, just not for them). I thought I was lazy cuz I came home and was drained, bone-tired. I did not have any energy left for all the stuff my peers were doing or even for cleaning up even if I hated all the chaos (living with someone with such a high mental demand takes up everything you have left. You will have more energy and motivation once this energy-gobbling entity is removed out of your daily life). I felt like everything was too big and overwhelming abd impossible to control: the laundry, the chores, the cooking, etc (it is not when you figure out your system without impossible demands, a derailing household and so much stuff which is out for your hands).

You are better than this. It is just your situation which does not allow for it to show.
