Also the animatic would have a point where they see each other at pride, with the singer holding a lesbian flag and the crush holding a bisexual flag. They make eye contact (bleugh but) and the lesbian's heart jumps...

Also at the end the bisexual woman breaks up with her undeserving boyfriend cause she's tired of pretending she doesn't like her weird childhood friend in the bleachers.
