Carlo isn’t jealous, he’s mad at the audicity
Sorry I’ve been a bit inactive on this and my alt, I’m putting all my focus in the canon event / gameplay mechanics notes right now 💀 I want them to be perfect ✨

Modern AU Twins Headcanons
Carlo never stops reminding everyone that he's the older one
P follows Carlo around like a baby duckling and does all the same extracurriculars, clubs, hobbies just so he can spend more time with him
They often read together from the same book in silence
They share clothes and have a completely interchangable wardrobe
P wishes his eyes were brown like their mother's, and Carlo wishes his were blue like their dad's
Carlo is shit at talking to their dad in Italian whereas P sounds like a native speaker
But Carlo is much better at speaking French, their mother's native tongue, mostly because his bestie Romeo was originally an exchange student from France before moving to America permanently--so he helps Carlo quite often with it. P struggles a bit more with it.
Carlo is very much dad's favorite and it makes P sad. In turn, it makes Carlo sad to see him sad, so he always tries to involve P whenever he can so he doesn't feel left out
Both love BJDs and have huge collections. Spend hours photographing them and dressing them up, etc. Posts to their shared social account!
Each feels like the other completes themself.

I'm very interested in one thing. At the time of his death, Carlo was already an adult; he and Romeo graduated from the Monad house and became guardsmen. Geppetto created P in the image of Carlo, but he looks like a teenager. At the same time, I’m sure that Carlo was already much older and Gepetto is not blind (I hope) he saw his body, he created a nameless puppet from his body! And even it looks much more mature (and he definitely lost his arm, judging by the fact that it was sewn back on). Why does Gepetto create a child to make up for lost time? In the heart-giving ending, Geppetto resurrects what's left of the adult Carlo and becomes a teenager again... what... why?
Geppetto is reminiscent of those fathers who ask their child what he is doing at school now, and in response he receives a perplexed look and “I’m late for work.”

I'm convinced no one who likes Gepetto is mentally stable
Or at least does not understand the games story.

I think one thing I've realized about why Lies of P's ending hits so hard is because it's essentially a test, both of your mechanical skills in the fight against the Nameless Puppet and your understanding of the themes and ideas the game is presenting to you in your choice to give up your heart or not.
Because when the game offers you the choice, it's essentially asking you: Do you trust Gepetto despite all the red flags you've uncovered? Are you going to be obedient and good and follow the rules, even when you've seen the harm and damage that blind obedience can cause? Do you still see yourself as nothing more then a puppet, an object, a vessel, for the 'true' Carlo? And are you willing to give up everything you've gained along the way in service to becoming 'a real boy', or following your maker's (father's) wishes?
Or have you learned to think for yourself? Have you learned to mistrust the good intentions of your supposed creator? Have you learned that the rules are fallible because fallible men made them, and sometimes the right thing is to lie, or to kill, or to disobey? Have you realized that, weather you are Carlo in a new shell or a new creature entirely, your life has value? Do you understand that you don't need to be made 'real', you already are- your pain and your joy and your connections make you real, make you human, regardless of if your heart is clockwork or flesh? That the gift of creation, the gift of humanity, is the ability to say no, to defy, to choose your own path, not just the one your creator (father) laid out for you?
Anyways Lies of P is an amazing videogame and everyone should play it send tumble.
