Stopped at an old geocache spot when visiting my parents and to my surprise there was a LPS! Luckily I had something in the car to trade (was a chucky charm)
I really wasn't expecting to find anything neat!

Hello! I have a new recommendation for you!
Do you have phone storage?
Do you appreciate nature?
Do you travel / go outside a lot?
Do you love discovering new places?
Do you love to get lost in the woods and not find your way back till dusk?
If you said yes to any of these questions, I recommend checking out geocaching! Geocaching is a free app (in app purchases not required but are still available) that has been going strong for over 23 years! (Started 2000) I highly recommend it to anyone because it’s available all over the world, and is available in urban, rural, and suburban areas!
One of my favorite types of geocaches are the ones on trails. It lets you explore new routes you’ve never been before!
I recommend doing more research on this to see if you will like it.
(While writing this, we are actually on our way to a mega geocaching event out of state!)

Geocaching - the good and the fun... a finished product. Yay! So, I spent about 2 weeks building and painting this gadget cache. Then, spent some time creating the puzzle part of the gadget and cache page of course, lol. Here is one side of it out in the wild. It has enough space for a small log book, some small SWAG and TBs.

“I want to meet you in every place I ever loved. Listen to me. I am your echo. I would rather break the world than lose you.”
― Amal El-Mohtar, This is How You Lose the Time War
This is one of the most unusual books I have read in weeks! It made me want to write letters to the one I love with a Chinese brush pen, with a nail on a soft brick garden wall, in dna, the rings of trees, in clouds and lay lines, along the path of the beam in tall grasses, and hidden in small trinkets as geocache swag.
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you.

Went geocaching in a ghost town Belle Plains, Texas.
The story behind it, a father didn't approve of a 16 y/o girl's boyfriend and banned them from seeing each other. He stated if they got caught together, he would kill the boyfriend. Sure enough, they got caught and the father killed the young boy. The daughter was so heartbroken, she hung herself right where her boyfriend lay buried.
At night, you can hear the cries of the girl. Its also said to be an old Indian burial ground.
The geocache is called "Guardians of the Lost Lovers" if anyone wants to read about it. Its south of Baird Texas.
