This is face of a border collie who is being FORCED to rest. On a WALK!!
You are supposed to walk on A Walk (or, preferably run)... not be made to lie down & “relax” & be unbelievably bored for a whole, entire 5 hours minutes. Just because it’s hot, humid weather & you’ve climbed up a hill & you’ve also been ill on & off for 2 months & your kidney function might be on the wobble... it’s no reason to slow down.
Someone call the RSPCA.
Cruelty to collies.
....
Oh, wait, crisis averted, the Collie is allowed to run again!

Throughout most of my childhood I was a pretty active kid. I loved to swim, run, climb trees, and I had a special love for running around the backyard pretending that I was a wizard at Hogwarts or fighting along the fellowship in Middle Earth. I loved exercise and I loved fruits, and vegetables, but also candy. I would climb the kitchen counters just to get to the colorful (I believe Paddington Bear) candy tin, that my mom kept on top of the kitchen kabinets to try and keep it out of my reach. It never really worked. I was a little monkey and monkeys get into all sorts of trouble.
It wasn't until I hit my teens, and depression, anxiety, and dysphoria did a number on me, that I started to truly struggle with self image and weight. In a way being in a heavier body felt safer to me, even though it prevented me from doing many beloved activities. But it also hid a large chest be
cause everything on me was large. It didn't stand out as much.
Now, years later I look back on this and I realize just how much I really suffered and struggled with everything in my life and how it shows on my body now. As Dr. van der Kolks wrote: the body keeps the score.
So recently, while waiting on trauma therapy, battling chronic pain, PTSD, and depression, I decided that I could help my body lessen that score. In a gentle and compassionate way.
So I turned to gentle exercise and gentle nutrition to help bring out that little boy that has been burried under all that pain for years.
By moving my body in a way that feels doable and enjoyable to me, and by eating foods that I both enjoy and know work well with my body, I've slowly been reshaping my days and patterns. And so far, while I've had ups and downs, it's been going pretty well.
There have been no binges, no uncontrollable eating habits. Just me with better and not so good days. And you know what, that's okay. I'm slowly learning that that's okay.
At first I started this page because I wanted to share the numbers and have accountability and what not. But I think instead it might be more helpful to share my story. And I would love it if you stuck around with me.

So what does Lime like……. Do when he’s in the m34? Does he get regular duties or is he a lil special boy bc he knows Mochi?
as an m34th, limes job is technically "magic control"!! which includes but is not limited to:
missions: which usually is reports of magic happenings across midsphel that the m34th investigates and regulates appropriately (for example, if they got a report of a 3 headed deer creature thats terrorizing a village in the southern parts of the kingdom he could be sent down there to "handle it", whatever that entails
community control: in cases where someone comes to the police station freaking out because they saw a 3-headed deer trying to eat their child, after the investigation he would either 1) tell her this was something completely natural, just some nature phenomonon, nothing to be concerned about, magic is nonsense, or 2) opt to have her memory "replaced" (similar to the memory spell witches use where it "fills in" the replaced memory based on your other memories) if it affected her too much to the point of mental break. this one is more about the key role of the m34th which is keeping the communities views on magic that its rediculous and doesnt exist (propaganda)
(less common) witch control: where a witch is getting too out of hand and they have to go confront her. either its "get your shit together because witches arnt welcome in our society" or in VERY difficult cases, theyll kill her if shes too difficult and unreasonable.
lime doesnt participate in the last kinds of missions out of principle. he passes them up which other people are fine with because theyre the most prestigious missions so any other member is happy to get them. lime is usually mostly assigned to the first type, which is not too unlike magic commissions that he does under normal guild activites.
in fact sometimes the reports they get in the m34th are the same events posted for magic commission ("looking for witch to kill 3-headed deer, please respond at xxx-xxxx-xxx"), but the m34th would preferably get to them first so they can 1) increase reliance on the central kingdom rather than witches (for those in the magic community) and 2) the less work a witch has the more likely she'll just be a regular citizen and not stir up trouble
either way he only gets a few (2-3) missions a week since they dont want to overwork him!!! so half the days hes at home with mochi/doing actual magic commissions and the other days hes sort of working but even then hes a more pain in the ass m34th because others think hes "not aggressive enough" in spreading anti-magic propaganda. he says its "Cowardly shit and I don't care for the socio-political side of things. You handle the misinformation if you want, I'm just here to help people."
as for the knowing mochi part, the rest of the m34th doesnt know that hes with the cat witch!! in their eyes when they meet her, she seems just like a normal girl (albeit a bit weird with all the cats around). i think if they did it would be major trouble 👁👁

Save Me a Dance [Jamil/Azul/Riddle]
[Ao3 Link]
Summary: Jamil, Riddle, and Azul take some time to enjoy themselves together at the Masquerade Ball.
“Rather spirited, isn’t he?”
Riddle spun around to face Jamil, who smiled and extended a hand out towards him.
“Indeed,” Riddle agreed as he accepted Jamil’s hand and fell in step with his movements. “I’m glad to see that Azul was more than just talk over how hard he and the others practiced their singing.”
The pair glanced over at where Azul stood in the center of the ballroom, singing his heart out alongside Malleus and Idia during the dance. Azul looked to be putting his all into every note, especially compared to the less than enthused looking Idia just a few feet away.
Jamil lifted his hand to twirl Riddle around. “I’d expect nothing less of him, really. Azul would never dream of making a fool of himself at such a public event…” he smirked. “Well, at least not from lack of effort, anyway.”
Riddle returned Jamil’s smug grin with one of his own. “You’re quite right about that. And by the looks of it, your extra dancing lessons with him definitely paid off, didn’t they? You looked to be enjoying yourself more out there with him each time we performed.”
The teasing nature of Riddle’s voice was not lost on Jamil. He huffed out a sigh in response, electing to twirl Riddle around a few more times to hide his own pouting. “Hey, come on, now. I didn’t want him to embarrass our school any more than he didn’t.”
“And he just let you help him for free?” Riddle asked, a playful eyebrow raise accompanying his question.
“Pft, of course not. I had to ‘make him promise’ to help Kalim study for an upcoming exam in my stead when we get back.” Jamil sighed, shaking his head. “Azul is still Azul, no matter how you look at him.”
Riddle’s grin softened into a gentler smile. “Perhaps that frees your schedule to come have tea with us in Heartslabyul?”
Jamil returned the smile. “That sounds nice, actually. I just might take you up on the offer.”
When the song finished, and everyone left their final positions to swarm the singers with praise, Azul turned away from the grumpy-as-ever Idia to face more welcoming company.
“Did you all enjoy my singing?” He asked the group that gathered, though his gaze was focused on Riddle and Jamil, eagerly anticipating their reactions the most.
Riddle couldn’t even try to hide his smile, swept up in the excitement of the evening’s festivities. “You hardly need our validation. I’m sure you’re very aware of how well you did.” He knew full well of how confident Azul was in his singing abilities, and while he didn’t normally enjoy inducing any of the Octavinelle boys’ obvious baiting… Well, Riddle still knew when to give credit where credit was due.
Jamil shook his head. “Way to be a sore winner,” he sighed, but even he couldn’t hide the smile creeping across his face as he met Azul’s eyes. “Very classy.”
Their smiles alone seemed to fill Azul with plenty of satisfaction and fulfillment. “I’ll take that as the highest of compliments,” he said, beaming back at the pair.
As more students gathered to shower the trio of singers with compliments, Jamil and Riddle slowly made their way through the crowd and off to the side. They shared a moment of comfortable quiet between themselves, taking their time to decompress and - with some urging on Jamil’s part - taste the refreshments.
“Not too tired from dancing yet, I hope?”
Jamil and Riddle turned around and were yet again met by an approaching Azul.
“I do believe,” he continued, “that someone still owes me a dance tonight.” His gaze landed on Riddle, and he extended his hand out with a smile. “I’ll hope you didn’t wear him out already, Jamil.”
“Not a chance,” Jamil smirked. “Riddle could’ve just exhausted himself after a marathon and he’d still have more than enough stamina to keep up in a dance with you, Azul.”
Azul rolled his eyes. “Very funny. You’re only backhanding your own teaching skills with that kind of talk, you know.”
Riddle snickered as he took Azul’s hand and stepped forward. “Well, then… I suppose it’s all on you to showcase both Jamil’s teaching abilities and your newfound dance skills, hmm?”
“I certainly shall!” Azul huffed, but then smiled as he pulled Riddle close and began to dance. “And don’t you worry, Jamil,” he called over his shoulder as they moved further into the crowd. “I’ll make sure to find you afterwards for one more ‘test’ of my stamina.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jamil waved the pair away, hiding a smile as he lifted his drink to his lips. “I’m sure you will.”
