She would immediately blush but also say yes without any hesitation. The two of you would share a short-ish but very sweet kiss before walking home together hand in hand. This was just the start of many cute dates and many sweet kisses. 

Thoma: THIS BOY. Best boy number one. The two of you would probably have been friends for a while, and since he was usually busy helping out at the Kamisato estate you spent almost every single moment together when he was off duty. Thoma really enjoyed spending time with you since it was one of the few times he could truly relax and not have to worry about anything. He had gotten some time off for the Irodori festival so the two of you were just walking around the market and going from stall to stall to see everything there was to offer. At some point the two of you had to push through a big crowd of people so to not get separated from each other you decided to hold hands, but even after you got through the crowd none of you let go, and if someone looked carefully they could see the faint the blush that was covering your’s and Thoma’s cheek. It wasn’t until Thoma had followed you home to your door that either of you made a move. You thanked him for a great night while still holding his hand, and this is when you both would normally have pulled away and said goodbye, but something must have been in the air that night because neither of you seemed to want to let go as you kept looking into each other's eyes. “Is it just me who wants to-?” Thoma started to ask, but before he could finish his sentence you pulled him into a passionate kiss. Luckily that seemed to be answer enough as you could feel Thoma’s hand around your waist on the other on your chin as he deepened the kiss. A happy ending to a happy day.

The pool is packed today and the water is extra warm because of the scalding heat going on. Nonetheless, you look around for an empty chair, finding little to none. Just as you’re walking past the lifeguard stand though, someone grabs their things and leave. You silently cheer to yourself and stroll over to the chair, having some pip in your step now.

After laying out your towel across the chair, you head over for the pool. You dive into the deep end, but hear a whistle as you jump in. You break the water’s surface and look towards where your belongings are, finding a man sitting atop the tower and looking right down at you. “No diving,” he informs.

You blush under his gaze and give him a nod in acknowledgement. His long, brown hair was in a braid over his shoulder and his skin was kissed by the sun god themself. You swim over to the ladder and climb out, running your hands through your hair and down your face once you’re out of the pool.

You walk back over to your chair, with a glance towards the hot lifeguard, and dry your hands before laying down. You then grab your book and lay yourself across the golden towel. You hum in delight once you’re comfortable, the sun’s rays beaming on your wet skin.

You get through a chapter before you suddenly feel like eyes are on you. Hoping it’s the lifeguard, you look up in time to find him checking you out. His eyes meet yours again before quickly shifting away to look towards the pool. The man doesn’t even seem embarrassed at being caught!

“Aren’t you supposed to be watching the pool?” you call to the brunette with a quirk of your brow.

To your surprise, he turns to look down at you once more with a smirk. “Who ever said I couldn’t do both?”

Thinking about how it's completely possible that when you tell Alhaitham to already "cut out" the Christmas cookies while you're gone, he thinks about it in an overcomplicated way.

You leave the house to get more powdered sugar and return to chaos™️.

He's trying to figure out how he is supposed to make star shapes out of the dough like you told him to and he is stumped.

I could imagine him drawing a geometrically perfect star shape on cardboard that he cuts out and places on the rolled-out dough. Then he starts individually tracing around that shape with a knife. It takes forever and he starts to wonder why people willingly put this much effort into cooking/baking.

When you return he has only cut out around 15 cookies. And while holding back a laugh you to open the drawer next to him and hand him the star-shaped cookie cutter.

"Why would people own things like this?" "To prevent them from doing whatever you're doing, Haitham."

TL;DR: Haitham doesn't know cookie cutters because he never really had the urge to bake cookies himself.
