there's a fic i read last year that i can't seem to find, so i was hoping you or your followers would know something. what i can remember is that all kyoshi warriors were legally female, and that played into sokka realising she was genderfluid, and zuko could always tell but katara couldn't so they had a conversation about it, and it must have been zukka, for there was also something about sokka legally being female in the earth kingdom making their relationship acceptable in the fire kingdom.

i looked at the gendefluid sokka and kyoshi warrior sokka tags and none of the results looked right, nor did any of the atla fics in my history, but i might have missed it... ^^"

Okay so. Everything is just a mess, no folders. Let's take a look in that mess tho. I'm pretty methodical, so I don't think there are a whole lot of unfinished things lying about, certainly not unpublished ones (at least not in the past few years, I do have some tma fics tucked away that I might publish once I get my big tma fic done. Although I'm sure they'll need some massive edits by now, I have had a lot of practice since I wrote them).

A/N: I wrote this fic almost a whole year ago now, and it's the only Avatar fic I've ever had the impulse to write. This is my first work on this fandom, so please be nice if the characters aren't 100% in character all the time. I'm also not the best at picking up on certain details so things might be a little messy, haha. I want to put in a little disclaimer before we get any further too: I am not a trans man (I'm genderfluid, AFAB) and I have never been pregnant/given birth. I'm drawing from my own experiences with dysphoria and the research I've done on the aforementioned topics. Now that that's out of the way, I do want to explain the polyamory here. Sokka and Suki are just kind of flirting with each other for the majority of this work, but they get together before Zuko admits his feelings and gets together with both of them. If you're looking for a total polyamory of them being squishy together and having kids together then this is not the fic for you! There's going to be a lot of stupid teenage angst, haha. Thanks for giving my fic a chance and I hope y'all like it! I just want to give a warning before we get into things, this fic jumps right into the smut. They had met up like this before, more times than either of them really wanted to mention.

Sometimes it was by accident, other times they had their groups purposefully follow each other and camped close together so that they could meet up like this more often. It had gotten more like the latter as time went on, but this time they had both ended up in Ba Sing Se by complete accident.

Of course, Zuko had known that Sokka was going to go to Ba Sing Se so that they could petition one of the Earth Kings for help against the Firenation. However, the disgraced prince hadn’t planned on meeting up with them there when he reunited with his uncle. The last time that the two of them had met up was just outside of that desert town while Zuko was nursing the aforementioned old man back to health. He hadn’t known where he and Iroh were going to go as they began to wander around the Earth Kingdom as refugees, desperately trying to hide that they were firebenders despite the massive scar that Zuko was sporting on his face as evidence to their Firenation heritage (the dark hair and golden eyes didn’t help either).

Despite neither of them intending to meet up in the vast city, it had happened anyway.

Sokka opened up the door in his room and slipped out through the window. He glanced around at the walls of the homes surrounding theirs. He could tell that there were people watching them, like there had been since they had arrived in the city. He hadn’t yet alerted the rest of his party to this fact because he wasn’t sure what the intention of the vigilance was for. They could just be waiting to see if there was any kind of slip-up from one of the Avatar’s companions, to see if any of them were Firenation spies that had somehow slipped through the gates of the city and were planning on ruining the Avatar’s whole attempt to end the Hundred Years’ War. Though based on their strange interactions with Joo Dee, he highly doubted that they actually cared for the Avatar or the war. The guards were probably watching them to make sure that they wouldn’t go around spreading news about the war to anyone that wasn’t supposed to know.

“Stupid,” he muttered under his breath, holding his boomerang a little closer to his hip as he began to walk down the thin alleyways between all of the houses. He stood a bit taller as he exited in the vast green that was in front of their abode, making sure that he didn’t look suspicious. Even if he wasn’t going to do anything incriminating, he really didn’t want the secret government agents following behind him to know that he was going to hook up with someone.

He ran a hand through his loose locks, reminding him that his hair tie was around his wrist, there he always kept it when he was sleeping. The wolf’s tale made it hard to actually sleep on his back comfortably like he preferred.

Sokka slipped through more and more of the streets until he finally made his way down to the Middle Ring, out of the pretentiousness of the Upper Ring. He found that there seemed to be a couple more government agencies following him. “I suppose I do look a little bit suspicious,” he grumbled to himself. He had already made his way down through the remarkably grimier streets of the Middle Ring, and he could see the sign of the tea shop where it turned out that Zuko had been working with his uncle since the two of them had become refugees. He peeked his head around the corner, raising a brow as he saw a girl with dark hair and a green tunic leaving the tea shop and Zuko.

He couldn’t help the jealousy that boiled in his stomach at that. He and Zuko weren’t even friends, so it wasn’t like it would be cheating if the other teenager was hooking up with someone other than him. Despite that, he still felt the rage boiling underneath his skin. The Southern Water Tribe teenager rolled his eyes and opened the window that he knew led back into the room that Zuko was sleeping in. The two of them had agreed to meet up again tonight after they had run into each other the night before, just barely being able to resist fucking each other silly then. Even though it had left him more horny than he felt he had ever been in his entire life, he knew it was for the best. The last thing that he wanted was to give the Dai Li a front row show to his affair.

Sokka shut the window behind him, but not before shooting a glare up at the rooftops and nooks and crannies that the other buildings around the shop created. He was really getting sick of being watched. It was like he was a child again, running around with his first ever boyfriend before everything had gone down.

He quickly shook his head to distract himself from those thoughts before he got depressed or killed the mood for himself. Sokka glanced over the room to take in where the other teenager was staying. There wasn’t much around, which was to be expected since the two of them had been banished from the Firenation and on the run for some time. There were two blankets, a futon, and a pillow, creating a bed in the corner. A myriad of boxes with labels for different kinds of teas were stacked almost everywhere else, making the entire room feel even smaller.

He didn’t give more time to investigate further, to find out more about Zuko and who that girl might have been, when the door opened and the aforementioned teenager entered. His hand lit up with a crackling flame after a split second, launching towards Sokka.

The other teen held his hands up in a defensive action as he leaned back. “Woah, woah,” he said. “You invited me in here, but if it was for this and not what we normally do I’m going to bail. This isn’t the kind of soreness that I signed up for.”

“You,” Zuko grumbled, instead using the flame to light the couple of candles and lanterns that hung around the room to illuminate it. “I forgot that you were coming.”

“You were able to forget that I was coming after you almost fucked me in the alley the other day?” Sokka snorted. “I guess that girl really managed to capture your dick.”

Zuko shot him a look. He grasped the front of the other teenager’s tunic and brought them in for a rough kiss. Their lips smashed together, and soon their arms had flown around each other. Sokka wrapped his arms around Zuko’s shoulders and then immediately let his hands fly to the other man’s hair. It had finally grown out enough that he was able to tug at it like he had loved to do so much when the Firebender had the stupid ponytail back when they first met. Zuko’s arms wrapped around Sokka’s waist, moving down to his ass to squeeze there. He grabbed the flesh in big handfuls while moaning into the kiss. They nipped and bit at each other’s lips as they began to move back and forth in their desperation to figure out who was going to be on top this time.

When they had to break apart so that they could breathe, Zuko said, “I just went on a date with her so that I could get my uncle off my back. You seriously think that I could entirely forget about this?” he squeezed again, causing the teenager to let out a sharp moan.

“Your words, not mine. You managed to forget about me coming here,” he smirked, bringing them into another kiss.

The duo began to stumble back through the storage room-made-bedroom. They broke apart when they reached the bed in the corner so that neither of them would get injured as they toppled down onto it. Sokka flipped his head back so that it accentuated his cheekbones, which he knew drew the other man insane with lust. Zuko placed his hand on top of the other man’s shoulder to be able to get his knees to buckle and fall down to the ground.

The Water Tribesman did as the other teen wanted him to. He got down onto the bed, having already toed his shoes off when they began to move towards it. Zuko then got down next to him, his hands already moving to his lover’s belt to remove it. “Someone’s eager,” Sokka whispered, tilting his head back so that the darker-haired teen could kiss down his neck.

“Well I haven’t seen you in a couple weeks. Uncle and I just moved into this tea shop, so I wasn’t really able to get any relief even without you,” he mumbled.

“So I guess tonight’s either going to take forever or be quick as a squall,” Sokka murmured. He brought their lips together for another intense kiss as he began to remove Zuko’s clothes as well. His calloused fingers expertly found the knots in the cloth belt and began to pull at all the right angles so that it easily fell away from him. It was different than what he normally wore, but still congruent with the Firenation style of tying that Sokka was basically an expert at undoing it. The fabric belt sank down to the ground behind Zuko when the knots were no longer holding it in place. Sokka only had to undo the two thread clasps up at his shoulder and one at his waist before his shirt was also coming undone. It revealed the perfect pale skin of the Firebender, dotted with scars and a birth mark just under the last rib on his life side. Zuko shrugged the rest of it off so that he was entirely topless.

Arousal spiked in Sokka’s gut as he was able to see each perfectly sculpted muscle that the other teen was sporting. He began to grow impatient with how many clothes that they were both still wearing. He grasped both ends of his belt so that he was able to get it undone in a second. Now that it was no longer being held together band of white cloth, the tunic slipped open, falling from his chest and down onto the futon beneath them. He bit his lip when he saw the way that the other teenager’s golden eyes flickered over his form. The first time that they had done this he had remained as clothed as possible, but apparently even though trans people weren’t spoken about much in the Firenation they were still fairly widely accepted (though still not as accepted in the Water Tribes, where they were actively celebrated as being chosen by the Spirits for something great).

“Agni, just as chiseled as you were the last time I saw you,” Zuko murmured as he began to kiss just underneath Sokka’s jaw, where his chin met his neck.

“Is that a compliment?” Sokka whispered. His last boyfriend, though he and Zuko weren’t even remotely near romantically involved, hadn’t been too big of a fan of his muscles, even going so far as to pressure Sokka into working out less despite chores needing to be done.

Zuko let out a small hum. “It can be whatever you want it to be as long as we continue.”

The Water Tribesman rolled his eyes and then began to work on undoing the belt that kept his pants up. He was able to slip the seal leather through the loops and then discarded it off to the side. He then quickly moved to undoing the buttons at the front of his pants before he was able to slip them off as well. As soon as the other teen picked up on what was going on, always a little slow on the uptake, his hands were scrambling with his own pants. For a moment Sokka thought that he was just going to burn off the laces keeping them up as he struggled with the knot, but Zuko prevailed. He pushed his pants and underthings off with one fluid motion, tossing them towards the edge of the bed. His hands then flew forward, overtaking what Sokka had been doing. He tugged with a couple of swift movements to remove the dark blue cloth from his lover’s form.

Once they were both naked, the kissing resumed. Sokka was the one that ended up losing the dominance battle that they had initiated, as he was pushed down against the pillows at the head of the makeshift bed. He couldn’t find it within himself to complain as he felt the warm, practiced hands of the other teenager grasping at his hands and pushing them above his head. Zuko moved so that he was straddling the other teenager’s waist and pushing his hardened cock into the warm, dark skin of the other’s stomach. Their kisses turned from the dancing of lips to a mixture of teeth, tongue, and moans. They hadn’t even been together like this for long and yet they were already completely lost in each other.

“Are you going to fuck me or what?” the non-bender asked when they broke apart to breathe again.

“You’re so impatient,” Zuko grumbled. By now, they had spent enough time together that he knew all the ways to rile Sokka up. He moved the kisses away from his lips, straying to his cheek for just a moment before he finally reached the jawbone. Once there, he began to bite and nip instead of just applying soft kisses to the flesh. The trail continued until he found the point where Sokka’s neck and jaw met. He bit hard into the flesh there, worrying it between his teeth. When he pulled away he sucked as hard as he could on it to leave a stark mark against the otherwise perfect flesh.

“Mm, ah, Zuko,” he whined, throwing his head back against the pillows so that his chin was pointed upward. He bucked his entire body up so that his skin rubbed against the teenager above him in a way that sent goosebumps throughout them both. “You’re, Spirits, lucky that I wear a collared shirt and can cover that up.”

This is a bit of a long shot, but while I'm waiting for rp finder blogs to post my rp requests, I'm just gonna post one here!

Hello! My name is Dennis (he/him) and I'm a twenty year old genderfluid trans man looking for either an Avatar: The Last Airbender rp or a The Owl House rp!

I'm interested in writing for either romantic or platonic pairings or antagonistic relationships or anything of the sort! I'm flexible. I prefer rps in which both people write for multiple characters, but that's not required. I love plot based rps and slice of life stuff. I love canon storylines, canon divergence, and aus.
