these aren't pronoun pins because I was mad about someone stealing my wallet and not being able to see.

turns out my fucking glasses have the lenses put in backwards :| to be fair, if the arms were off it'd be difficult to tell which is which because they're vertically symetrical but. still.

you can find these to buy on Redbubble here, or by searching for the keyword, "fucknowigglycurvespridepins". I ran out of collections, so giving designs hyperspecific keywords is the only way to sort them into groups.

EnbyKerbs (2020)

I just remembered this relic from when I was an egg with no idea that I could be trans (April 2020). This was over a year before I admitted to myself I might be some kind of nonbinary, and just under two years before I cracked my egg as a trans woman.

The terminology might not be as refined as I might have put it if I’d written it today (like, despite the name, some of these kerbals could easily just be binary trans kerbals, and there’s no reason some of these couldn’t just be cisgender for that matter.)

Obviously I’m limited in that this can only be a texture pack. So without a LOT more work and texture space I can’t have lighter or darker skin tones or other hair colors, so when used in concert with other texturepacks, all of these EnbyKerbs will look kinda generic. And being a texture pack, I can’t alter the models, so the pony-tail can’t be switched. (Luckily the pony tail is seldom visible in the space suit anyway)

EnbyKerbs adds eight new textures based upon the default kerbal textures. Since they mix up the “gendered” characteristics of the existing Kerbals, you can think of them as "transgender" or "nonbinary (n.b. or enby)." Those gendered characteristics are: the head shape, the hairline, and the eyelashes.

For reference, the default heads are:

rounded head shape with a flat hairline and eyelashes

square head shape with a widow's peak and no eyelashes

The new heads are:

rounded head shape with a flat hairline and no eyelashes.

rounded head shape with eyelashes and a widow's peak.

Okay so I just watched a video of a boy who once identified as trans still got bottom surgery after he realized he was cis and people were so fucking rude? Like just because this cis dude has a vagina people were calling him transphobic and wishing death upon him.

So this is a reminder that when we as a community advocate for bodily autonomy and gender surgeries that means everyone regardless of gender can do whatever they want with their bodies.

If someone who is cisgender wants top/bottom surgery THEY CAN GET IT. If someone wants facial plastic surgeries that we usually find creepy like buccal fat removal or eye lifts THEY CAN GET IT. And here’s the really controversial one but if someone wants to do things that harm their body like hard drugs or diy mods THEY CAN DO IT!

Because body autonomy isn’t just “I can get bottom surgery to pass” or “I can get an abortion” it’s also all the wild stuff that makes us uncomfortable and that’s okay.
