Internet folk: Only a NOVICE, a childish rube who is unaware of both queer history and kink culture, would casually mix up top/bottom and dom/sub, so someone saying that is a sign they are ignorant and lying about their experience.
Patrick Califia, Geoff Mains, Steve McEachern, Gayle Rubin, pretty much everyone who had anything to do with Samois or The Catacombs and the vast volume of literature that came from them: "The topwoman flogs the bottom, the sub may want to douche before the dominant fucks him..."
what i love about gayspeak is that it’s essentially the most nonsensical words and catchphrases to ever exist in the minds of straight people but it makes total and complete sense to us. i could walk into a room of 20 gays and 20 straights and drop “it’s giving very that”, “gagatrondra”, “bitch/sweetie/mama”, “the girlianas”, “she’s serving total cunt” or perhaps even “boots the haus down realness for your nerves” into a conversation and half the room would immediately seize and die of a brain aneurysm. too much cunt for their feeble minds to comprehend
neat little detail on Barnacle & Dime
left: TANSEI (misspelling of dansei, male)
right: JOSEI (female)
middle: GENTERLESS (same misspelling of D being replaced with T)
my best guess for the T/D typo is because the 2 sounds are very close (and visually are too in JP). plus in background inkling language text in Splatoon, there often are little misspellings like that
anyway congrats to splatoon for unveiling canonical gender neutral bathrooms on pride month
ASL Fingerspelling + Pride Flags; images read as followed: LGBTQIA+ (L is the lesbian flag, G is the gay male flag, B is the bi flag, T is the trans flag, Q is the rainbow flag, I is the intersex flag, A is the acespec & arospec flags back to back, + is the progress flag), Lesbian & Gay, Fluid (Genderfluid flag colors) & Enby (Nonbinary flag colors), Queer (Queer flag) & AroAce, Pan & Bi, Ace & Aro and Trans.
being one of house’s fellows would be so fun. he’d tell me to do something while calling me lesbian or dyke or some clever slur-adjacent pun related to being nonbinary and i’d answer with “okay, fag :)” because i know what he is. and neither one of us would report the other to HR
Jane prentiss so effectively impersonating Martin over text clearly means one of three things:
-Martin didn't text very much so it'd be hard to judge whether it was his typing voice or not. (unlikely)
-Martin texts in such an unpredictable way that such a change of tone wouldn't be weird. (possible)
-OR, Jane Prentiss scrolled through all his texts giggling and kicking her legs at his pitiful yearning, and copied him like a teenager role-playing their favourite fictional queer. (most likely)
I actually fucking LOVE that Pac’s speaking Portuguese with Fit. Like-it’s a great way to normalize using the translator, it helps those who don’t speak English as a first language feel more comfortable, it’s good for the fans, and it’s also a great way to absolute destroy (/pos) FitPac shippers because you get moments like yesterday’s stream with Fit practically begging Pac to speak Portuguese to him in the GAYEST way imaginable.
oh to live with your qpp. oh to be in separate rooms or bunk beds but always join each other if we need to. oh to dance in the kitchen and make meals together. oh to cuddle while watching a movie. oh to have our time to our selves but still be close to each other. oh to be able to say i love you irl and any time you want. oh to own a cat together. oh to go grocery shopping together. oh to sit on the porch and watch the stars together. oh to simply be with one another. wouldn’t that be great.
