what i love about gayspeak is that it’s essentially the most nonsensical words and catchphrases to ever exist in the minds of straight people but it makes total and complete sense to us. i could walk into a room of 20 gays and 20 straights and drop “it’s giving very that”, “gagatrondra”, “bitch/sweetie/mama”, “the girlianas”, “she’s serving total cunt” or perhaps even “boots the haus down realness for your nerves” into a conversation and half the room would immediately seize and die of a brain aneurysm. too much cunt for their feeble minds to comprehend

my best guess for the T/D typo is because the 2 sounds are very close (and visually are too in JP). plus in background inkling language text in Splatoon, there often are little misspellings like that anyway congrats to splatoon for unveiling canonical gender neutral bathrooms on pride month

I actually fucking LOVE that Pac’s speaking Portuguese with Fit. Like-it’s a great way to normalize using the translator, it helps those who don’t speak English as a first language feel more comfortable, it’s good for the fans, and it’s also a great way to absolute destroy (/pos) FitPac shippers because you get moments like yesterday’s stream with Fit practically begging Pac to speak Portuguese to him in the GAYEST way imaginable.
