I've always loved buying myself cute notebooks, so when this one came in the mail I was really excited to put it to use as my next video game notebook!
It's always so validating to have something you've made actually be something you can hold in your hands! :3
My fellow Daniil enjoyers, I have just finished reading A Country Doctor's Notebook/A Young Doctors Notebook by Mikhail Bulgakov, and the protagonist is so Daniil it's baffling. This city boy doctor in his 20s is dropped into a middle of nowhere town in autumn and is given perhaps way too much responsibility over the lives of the people there and oh how he struggles™. He's also just a teeny tiny bit rude (sometimes people deserve it) but also well-meaning and just trying to do his goddamn job.
The whole time I was reading I was almost imagining the mc as a younger Daniil, perhaps before he started his quest against death, somehow finding his way to the town and starting that hospital he always complained about the town not having, and this book being how he would have fared in the absence of the plague.
Anyway, It's very good and I very much recommend if you like patho but especially Daniil as a character. It's very short, ~150 pages (depending on what stories are included in the translation you read).
You know how JK Rowling sold Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch Through the Ages as fake books set in the Harry Potter world? I'd like one in the Hunger Games universe.
Peeta's Notebook, where he took notes about all the victors while they were "training like careers". Effie sends him tapes and he takes note like a nerd while Katniss and Haymitch just watch. He puts stars next to the victors who are chosen.
... and probably drew doodles of Katniss in the margins.
Me and my partner (who is the CoS DM) will start writting for it 🦇🍷 [not sure this would blend in with the other books, but oh well
ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ] ((the cast of Ravenloft is next))
genuinely appreciate the fact that i still study w physical textbooks and use sticky notes. the neuro clinic i'm interning at uses binders for patients and also uses paper for initial data entry and idk holding an actual pen and flipping through actual pages is so healing to me
New journals inspired by the Supergiant game Hades are now available!
I loved this design so I had to make it in two different versions - A reusable cover and a coptic stitch with the gradient spine. Really pleased with the final outcome of both of them.
Ok hear me out, young Arthur Morgan and Y/n as the movie “the notebook” . Like a rich y/n and Arthur a new outlaw making a name for himself and as he was snooping around y/ns rich house or whatever and they fall in love etc. Then parents don’t approve and they move away for years then come back and then they fall inlove again. Basically the whole the notebook movie.
I’ve been watching the notebook sm recently and I thought that an Arthur Morgan fanfic based off that would be so cute.
