2023 In Review

2023 is over! Finally!!!

This year I...

1) Got a promotion to Senior Level Designer at my job! 🙂

2) Promptly got laid off from my job as Senior Level Designer! 🙃

3) Started running a Patreon for the first time ever!

4) Shipped Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise and got to see a ton of people enjoy playing and streaming it!

5) Practiced rolling out additional content for my games for the first time ever, which has taught me a lot more about shipping a game.

5) Began development on Centauri Dark.

6) Accepted a job as a Course Director, setting me up for working in academia for the first time ever.

7) Started up regularly streaming on Twitch again, which is something I wanted to do for years and never had time to.

8) Moved into a new apartment while surviving a bedbug infestation at the same time.

9) Started working out at a much steadier and routine pace than ever before.

I feel like this has been the roughest year we've collectively had in a while; it's been a shit year for game developers and a worse year for the workd globally. and on an individual level that's equally true.

Here's hoping 2024 brings many greater things our way!

Looking for references for cool distorted vocals that simulate wearing a helmet. Preferably metallic/reverb heavy.

For me, Gears always comes to mind for having an interesting variety of distorted/muffled filters based on the type of headgear a character is wearing.

I'd like to do something similar for the vocals of knights wearing full-plate helmets
