im gonna ramble about my fireafy playlist and what each song means for me at least lol im coping wip cuz im going to work dbbdbdjd

lover boy- for me !! this song is very leafy perspective and it just fits the fast pace of their relationship n then boom the tumble. this lyric “You know my heart can't take the break Nothin' will ever be the same We'll meet again some other day” just Gah !!!

i dont know you- this song was put there bc of this one pmv i saw but its really them !! not much thought to this one a very leafy perspective one (theres. alot for them WEH ) i like this lyric “Then honestly I’m fine With keeping my trust in you it's time to walk in my shoes, it's true ive tried, makin' it up to you But if I did all that I had to do Would you be here in my room?”

she wants me ( to be loved)- leafy perspective! this one was for the onesidedness she felt from firey and maybe this was her being hopeful about fireys intentions. i think she remains optimistic but still. having those doubts SIGH “I can't stop feelin', I want her love But all my dreamin' is not enough So in the mornin', the sun will rise And I'll wake up and she won't be mine”

new years eve - this song is a leafy perspective LOL but with each its a happy new year its a different segment of the bfdi series basically building up to her being upset w firey after they argue but its so. augh she tries but no avail ! “It's a happy new year Here I am again Writing in my car And this time I can't pretend that we are friends We're not friends Friends don't do the things we did And the ones you've done since then Makes me think we've never been” (THERES ALOT OF LYRICS I LIKE but i think i like this one best)

out like a light- a firey perspective one i wanna think… this is him reflecting a bit maybe before they made up. like i know hes stubborn but i think he will acknowledge it at least not agree w it but be like hm ok ! its very. god i wanna make maybe a short pmv for it or smthg the first chorus is def a slow realization and then when we get to the verse its him regretting it lol “I'm sicker every day and now I'm terrified of talking to my friends only to stay still Dreaming of our first born and your hair covered in popcorn You never leave You never leave you never leave”

cotten candy skies- a little bit of both !! i wanna say the first few verses are leafys side and how she feels about the whole situation and then when we get to the part where the song swells up and gets a little more intense its fireys side and how hes feeling about ! and its much harder for him to process cuz in his head its like hes doing the right thing but we already know thats not the case
