Ah yes, the circus demon triplets, or as someone on discord hilariously yet accurately described them as: fire boy, dangerous woman, and lamb 🐯🐍🐁

They're Cali & Rowan’s kiddos, named Gabriel (he/him), Valerie (she/her), and Adrien (he/him). Their old desings were very VERY old (from around 2019) and given that both Cali & Rowan have been through some redesigns since then, I figured it was probably a good idea to update these 3 as well.

“I can’t do it.” Adrien said for the third time, pulling the scissors away from his hair. He looked down to Emory.

“Well, I don’t have thumbs, so I can’t help you.” The cat said. “You could always just tell your family.”

“No! I-I can deal with it by myself.” Adrien pulled the scissors back up to his hair, which was in one long braid, stark white just like Rowan’s. It was nice. Just not for him. He looked at his reflection in the mirror before closing his eyes and snipping the braid off.

Okay, part one complete. The braid fell behind him, and Adrien wished he had just kept his hair down before doing this, as now his haircut was uneven. 

“It doesn’t look too bad.” Emory said, trying to be encouraging. “A bit uneven, but I think you can work with it.”

“People are going to notice.”

Emory pawed the braid. “Yes. Your hair was quite long before.” Adrien looked down at him, tears starting to form in his eyes.

“People are going to notice and I’m gonna have to tell them — what am I gonna tell them? I don’t wanna tell people — this was a mistake.” He cried, sinking down to the floor.

“No it wasn’t,” the cat argued, “it was for your happiness. That’s never a mistake.”

“But I don’t feel happy!!!” Adrien sobbed. Emory curled up next to him, trying to provide comfort. 

Then there was a knock at the door. “Adrien, hurry up!” His sister, Valerie, shouted from the other side. Adrien looked up, eyes wide.

“O-okay!” He looked to Emory. “What am I going to do?”

“Is opening the door out of the question?” Adrien let out a whine, standing up and looking back at his reflection. There was a knock on the door again. 

“Adrie, we’re gonna go to DreamSet, c’mon!!” This time it was Gabriel, their brother. Frantically, Adrien started to cut his hair again, this time in an attempt to fix it. It didn’t work very well and Adrien ended up opening the bathroom door, crying again. Emory left the bathroom to go to whatever talking cats did when they weren’t acting like a therapist.

“Woahh...you good?” Gabe asked.

“Why did you cut your hair?”

“Uhm...I have something to tell you guys, but you can’t tell anyone else, okay?”

Val and Gabe looked at each other. “Okaayyy....” 

“Okay, uhm...this is gonna sound weird, I think, I dunno, but uh...I’m trans.”

“Sssooo...you’re a boy?” Gabriel asked, to which Adrien nodded. “Then why’d you cut your hair?”

“Gabe!” Valerie scolded.

“What? Boys can have long hair.”

Adrien laughed, sniffling a little. “Y-yeah, but I didn’t like it.”

“Oh. Okay. You look like a mess, though. I-I mean, no offence, but, uh, I think Pater’s gonna notice your hair’s gone.” The three didn’t have time to think about it, however, as Rowan came into the hallway. 

“What are you three doing?” And then he saw Adrien’s hair. “Adrien, what on Arcadia did you do to your hair?” Adrien opened his mouth to speak, but Gabe cut him off.

“Nothing! I, uh, pulled a prank and some stuff got stuck in h-uh, Adrien’s hair, so we had to cut it out…”

Rowan sighed. “Gabe, seriously? I’ve told you before not to pull pranks on your sisters. Not to mention, we’re about to go out! Why would you think that would be a good idea? You’re grounded.” Gabriel looked down in disappointment. Adrien felt guilty, he had just gotten ungrounded last week. 

“No, wait.” Adrien interrupted. “It wasn’t Gabe’s fault.”

“Adrien,” Valerie said a bit forcefully, “yes it was. That’s why you were crying. Because you didn’t want to cut your hair.”

Adrien shook his head. “No, I don’t want you two to lie for me. Pater, I need to talk to you.”

“Okay…? You two can go wait in the car.” His siblings left, leaving Adrien and Rowan alone. Adrien explained to him that he was trans, albeit this time it was a bit more of a lengthy speech than what he gave his siblings.

“So that’s why I cut my hair.” He finished. “You can ground me if you want.”

“Well, firstly I want you to know that I love you regardless, and I’m not grounding you for cutting your hair. Should you have told me? I would’ve preferred that, yeah, but I understand why you didn’t. I’m not mad, okay?”

Adrien nodded. “Is it okay if Diana fixes my hair?”

Rowan nodded. “Yeah it’s...she’s gonna have a field day with that, all right. Anything else?”

“Yeah, could you tell Daddy for me?” 

“Of course. Now, let’s go before Gabe blows up the car again.”

phantasmagoria // the triplets

Cali & Rowan have 5 kids (yes. five. somebody pray for their sanity). Technically two (Kelly & Blair) were adopted by Rowan first, but Calypso sees them as his daughters, too. The three kids they have biologically are triplets named Gabriel, Valerie, & Adrien.

Gabe is a bit of a pyromaniac & a big prankster, which gets him in trouble a lot; Val is a huge lesbian & loves snakes; && Adrien is a major crybaby with an interest in botany. They hang out with their older sister, Blair, her friend Jace, & their cousin, Lux, a lot.

Lol I can't believe I drew all of them in one pic, Anthony kinda got hidden by Cyber tho whoops. uhhh group fun facts? yeah here:

From left to right: Cyber (aro bi, 15-22, nonbinary - they/them), Anthony Morningstar (bi, 15-22, trans ftm - he/him), Jane Bellerose (bi, 16-23, cis female - she/her), Rowan Dellacroy (bi aroace, 17-24, nonbinary - he/him), Calypso Raymond (bi, 18, cis male - he/him), Elliott Hart (bi ace, 19-24, agender - she/her), Toby Reynolds (bi, 18-25, cis male - he/him).

Toby is the tallest (6'6"), followed by Rowan (6'1"), Jane (5'11"), Anthony (5'8"), Cyber (5'5"), and then Calypso is the shortest at 5'2".

I've mentioned this twice before but Cyber & Elliott are siblings, they don't look it anymore tho bc Elliott's hair + eye color changed when she became a goddess.

Rowan & Jane are childhood friends. They've also technically known Anthony since childhood, but all their interactions pre-story were pretty formal as Anthony is royalty & their trainee Knights.

They all have some level of...importance? social status? Anthony is a prince, Rowan's dad is a general, Jane is a knight & a mother (yeah, she's a teen mom), Cyber escaped a secret organization, Calypso runs a circus, Elliott is the goddess of space, Toby is the God of time.

Between all of them, they own 5 pets: a Clockwork Dragon (Lox - owned by Cyber), a border collie-hellhound mix (Clover - owned by Rowan), a raccoon (Tucker - owned by Toby), a lioness (Gold - owned by Calypso) & a cat (Emory [yes, that emory] - technically "owned" by everyone, but goes to Elliott the most).

Between all of them, again, they have 7 kids: Kelly, Blair, Jace, Lux, Gabriel, Valerie, Adrien. Only 2 are from actual pregnancies, the rest are either adopted or brought through magic.

I'll leave you with ships: Cyber & Anthony are in a poly relationship with Reverie (coincidentally, Calis twin sister), Rowan & Cali are dating / get married, Elliott & Toby are dating / married, and Jane has decided to focus more on her son than romance right now <3 (though. she used to be married to Rowan in an older version so I still kinda ship them lmao).

PHANTASMAGORIA — ARCADIA'S MAP / LOCATIONS

in Phantasmagoria, Arcadia replaces Earth in the Solar System and has two moons: Xtuna & Esial. I've wanted to make a map of it for a while now, but I tend to have trouble visualizing locations for some reason. Then I found a map generator that really helped me out, so I messed with the layouts of that until I found two maps I really liked, and combined them.

Anyway. The planet has 4 kingdoms: Verona, Atlantis, Niyus, Sollita. I only did a map for Verona, since it's on the "upper/visible" layer of Arcadia. What about the others, you ask? Well....Niyus is located on the Xtuna; Sollita can only be accessed through dreams; Atlantis is mostly underwater.

since this is a pretty lengthy post, everything will be under a read more ::3 

THE KINGDOM OF VERONA

As you can see, there's a lot of places in this kingdom. Mainly because, it's a kingdom...and the main location of my daydreams. A rundown of all the places:

Voltrian's Academy (for Zaryis) — a boarding school for various different types of supernatural creatures and humans.

NightRise Circus — another Circus in Arcadia, catering more towards horror stuff. it's currently run by Entropy, with the help of Phantasmagoria. 

Lumi Lagoon — a lagoon leading into in the intricate cave system of Wy'Cabrin.

Star Sea — a large lake that is covered in dangerously thin ice.

Devotil Town — a small town in roughly the middle of nowhere. the people are deeply religious, though insist on the existence of Angels, Demons, Spirits and the like being fake. it has its own broadcast station (Starbound Industries) where the locals get all their news from, and a community church (St. Christopher's) that everyone in town attends. 

St. Neri's Asylum — an asylum where a group of my paras are currently trapped in, basically every horror movie where the main setting is an asylum ngl.

DreamSet Circus — surprisingly not the only circus around, but obviously the most popular one. it’s currently run by Calypso Raymond, Isaac Raymond’s (former ringleader) protege. in the future, it’s ringleader is Gabriel Raymond-Dellacroy, Calypso’s son. (i have a map of this, too, if anyone is interested)

Nidre — a town. also includes: Kristillian Library, Vintro's Cafe, StarLight Museum, and The Castle (which also includes the Garden of Eden).

Kouton — a city infamous for it's fancy neon lights.....and kidnappings, be careful walking through here. located in Xatil.

Xatil — another town. is more like a city - think northern states like New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania.

Frvovia — yet another town, but more similar to France, Italy, Russia in terms of structure & way of life.

Salem — where the "salem witch trials" took place, magic was much stronger in this area before it became a ghost town...not literally! well, maybe...

Inferno Shore — tba.

RoseWood Manor — a large mansion owned by Richard Irvine.

Oh! and the kingdom as a whole is run by Merlin Morningstar (depending on the time period, it could also be twins Lucille Morningstar & Raymond Morningstar), with the help of Azriel as his royal advisor.

THE BEYOND / THE VEIL

Duat — a divine palace where the original Guardians of Beyond resided. as they built the palace, only Guardians & the Gods can stay there.

Asphodel Town — A large town the majority of the citizens in The Beyons live. the signature flower, asphodel, decorates the town. it can be seen as a type of “purgatory”, as most go here and not to the Duat or the Fields — all of which can be seen as “Heaven” and “Hell” respectively.  

Fields of Lethe / Void of Oblivion — the Fields of Lethe (or, just Lethe) is for Eternal Punishment. not exactly, per se, but that is what most consider it. lethe is a large, black oblivion with nothing in it, like a Void, which is where the second name comes from.
