what are the venus members BIGGEST scandals 👀😗

During their fourth comeback, despite her keeping her family private, Aki's family's full names and addresses were leaked online. Though most people knew her grandmother and father raised her, what they didn't know is that her parents were unmarried at the time of her birth. While this alone was scandalous and earned her the title of "Bastard Child" online, it was soon discovered that her mother was a known sex worker throughout Japan. Backlash increased significantly after this was brought to light, causing Aki to go on a hiatus for nearly six months. While Angelico did their best to quell the backlash, it was still a media shitstorm.

When discussing the scandal years later, Aki expressed how her family had to relocate, leaving behind her childhood home and causing her father financial stress. She's also stated she's only met her mother twice and that she doesn't know her. "It was very painful for me to be blamed for her actions. I don't know her. I was mad at someone I didn't know and I hated it. I had made up this image of my mother in my head that was taken away from me for no reason," She would say in an interview, trying not to get emotional.

This is Aki's biggest scandal to date and while her reputation has recovered from it, she has never fully healed from it.

Yoonah has had her fair share of scandals from being "too sexy" or "too feminist" or a minor dating scandal here or there but her biggest scandal to date would have to be her disappearing act that occurred last year. This is only a scandal because of the lack of answers on everyone's end. Angelico never gave a proper explanation and even once Yoonah was out of Angelico's contract, she has yet to give a proper reason why it happened.

"I'll tell you all one day," Yoonah said on an Instagram live, "I'm not ready. I don't know when I will be. It's a lot." And that was the most explanation anyone has ever gotten. There are threads throwing theories around where she went and what happened to her but fans only take them with a grain of salt.

The scandal has honestly helped Yoonah's brand reputation, adding more mystique to her career.

The 2020 removal of Nakyung was a rough year for Venus members, specifically Chloe as a whirlwind of bullying rumors was thrown her way after a Twitter thread was released by a fed-up Nakyung stan. The thread now infamously known as "chloe bullying nakyung for two years straight" shared various clips, in and out of context, as well as screenshots of Chloe liking tweets and comments that were trashing Nakyung. After this thread was released, the Venus members deleted all their personal Twitter accounts and Angelico took down the thread for "Copyright infringement" which only made Chloe look more guilty.

The backlash from this scandal was crazy but Chloe stans were crazier, managing to flip the narrative online to target Nakyung instead of Chloe. Chloe never went on hiatus and all questions about Nakyung or the scandal were barred from being asked, resulting in multiple press outlets getting kicked out of the "Bad Girl" press run.

It took years but the scandal has been put to rest, both the girls apologized publicly and now are friends again. This scandal had a great effect on Chloe's public image but didn't do too much damage on her career as a whole.

Around the same time of Chloe's bullying scandal, a former Angelico trainee came out and accused all the Venus girls of being bullies but specifically Jiah. The anonymous trainee, later dubbed "Trainee G" by media outlets, would go on to say in a twit longer: "Kang Jiah, who I knew as Klara, was cruel and bullied me. She would call other girls names, make fun of their looks, and would physically assault the trainees she didn't like. You're all calling Chloe the devil but the real devil is Klara." As well as various other claims against the idol. Angelico acted fast, saying the claims held no water and they would be taking legal action against Trainee G for defamation.

Trainee G later would drop evidence that she was in fact a former Angelico trainee and knew Jiah from 2016 to 2017. Once these photos were dropped, Jiah would go on her own Instagram to clear her name. "That girl stalked me. She was not my friend, in fact, she was no one's friend because she was a creep. She got kicked out of the trainee program because of her obsessive behavior towards me and other trainees. She was a fucking weirdo." Jiah would go on to say, later being backed up by evidence posted by Angelico. Trainee G, revealed to be Koo Gyuri, would go on to delete their accounts and disappear from the internet.

This was a shit show every day for a solid two weeks and people still bring it up despite it being proven false. Jiah's career was briefly affected, losing a few brand deals who jumped the gun, but she's relatively unscathed.

In the summer of 2022, IDOLIST published the damming article titled "The Lovers of Sena" which listed every relationship Sena has had with a male in the short two years she had been an idol. The list consisted of fourteen male idols with photos of them together to back their claim. Sena would go on to deny half of the list saying: "I have male friends. You think I've dated Kiwoo? You think Kiwoo would like me like that? This is so ridiculous."

The scandal was fairly massive on Twitter and among fans but had no real impact on her career minus a few crazy fans that would attempt to attack Sena in person. Angelico did issue a statement, saying that they value their artists' privacy and will only give a statement if the idol wishes and Sena denied the request of Angelico making a statement.

Sena's reputation has been tainted because of this scandal, gaining her a few distasteful titles with Venus antis. She has more fans than haters but people often bring the article up to tear Sena down.
