ok wow just wow I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT SO MUCH ITS SO LIGHT AND NICE AND COOL

i have a lot to say since i finished it in one go and didn't really do the same thing as i did with high card but anyways here it goes

firstly during the first season there's not much to cover since its your typical plotline where the mc's struggle and find a way in the most inspiring way possible much like any pther idol anime lol

second, I was so confused when they started mentioning acting because I had fully thought that it was an idol anime which it wasn't it's a musical anime like a legit musical anime that is about theatre.

Now onto the plot, third, the second season plot was beautiful, it was pure and really nice. I love how the story of shadow and lights parallels the actual story of the characters in the sense that they all had their role to play. And i can say that it did good in portraying the shadow and lights plot since the whole season, every problem, every argument is caused by shadow and lights and not in the technical sense, its more on the scenes that happen in shadow and lights are similar to what happen to the actual plot, it also works like the plot of shadow and lights is what needs to happen for the characters and through the show they would be able to achieve what they need to achieve, its like- really connected to the plot. "You are the most important person to me" THIS LINE DROVE ME NUTS, BECAUSE IT WORKS SO WELL WITH OTORI AND HIRAAGI AS WELL AS WITH YUTA. and shy yuta was very beautiful, adorable and ofc the main reason i loved season 2 was Ageha who developed in the best way possible.

Season 3, now this was the big change, since in the first 2 seasons we have the Kao Council being Otori, Hiiragi, Sazanami, Akatsuki and Yuzuriha as well as the former Kao Council. The new Kao Council was a really great group of people, and honestly i loved all of them, each of them had their own character yk? and as much as the other characters are good and nice i loved the writing for Ryo Fuyusawa, I mean first and foremost this is a bias commentary bcs of Saito Soma. But I loved how his main plot point was jealousy then thinking that he was unappreciated, which uh oh, was the complete opposite, I loved it as much as it was typical. And of course I loved the resolve of the second years in performing together and the end OH GOSH THE END WAS SO BEAUTIFUL I MEAN HOW CAN U LISTEN TO THAT AND NOT LOVE IT OH DEAR

it baffles me tho that Ryo committed crimes so yeah theres that loll bye and a last analogy is like

Tatsumi is the star of stars but based on what happened in the 3rd season we can see that his star is Yuta

so Yuta is the star of the star of stars

Hi! Since the anime skipped over the third semester of their year, could I request some head cannons of the new Kao Kai and what they did during that time? Things like Fuyusawa finding the straw doll of him Kasugano made with nails stuck in it, and having him be invited to their dessert cafe visits. Thank you if you can!

So some Fuyusawa making up lost time with fellow Kao Kai members? Sure! XD

☆ Kasugano’s Fuyusawa cursed doll ☆

★ Kasugano definitely would have hidden away the doll he made, and forgot about it. 

★ One day Fuyusawa needs to give Kasugano something while he’s in his office, so he goes for a visit. 

★ But Irinatsu is helping Kasugano with some work already. He gets bored though, and starts rifling through his things, finding the straw doll which Kasugano had thrown into the back of his drawer. 

★ It’s then that Fuyusawa knocks at the door, and Kasugano allows him to enter, unknowingly. 

★ Cue the awkward moment of Irinatsu holding a straw doll with Fuyusawa’s name written on a tag right in front of him.

★ Irinatsu desperately hides it behind his back and tries to divert the situation. “Ahaha, Ryo-chin! What brings you to dear Kasuga-chan’s office suddenly?” 

★ Fuyusawa lifts the folder in his hand, unimpressed at his attempt. 

★ “Right, right, work of course!” Irinatsu plays off. 

★ Kasugano just sighs at Irinatsu and takes the file from Fuyusawa. He snatches the doll from Irinatsu and places it face down on the desk. “...I’ll burn it after we finish all this.”

★ Fuyusawa simply walks out. “I don’t blame you for doing that.” 

★ Irinatsu and Kasugano just look at each other awkwardly. 

★ They quickly finish their work and go out back behind the building to burn the small doll. 

★ If Fuyusawa smells something burning or sees smoke out his window, he doesn’t react.

☆ Desert Cafe Visits! ☆

★ One day after finishing their daily Kao Kai work, Kasugano and Irinatsu pack up to head to relax at the cafe. But Irinatsu breaks the habit of only asking Shiki or Chiaki to join and asks Fuyusawa if he wants to join. 

★ Fuyusawa looks up from his work with surprise, but calmly agrees. He doesn’t have a huge sweet tooth, but he thinks it would be a good experience to spend time with them. 

★ (He misses the way Chiaki smiles.)

★ So Irinatsu drags them all out to the cafe, and they order their treats. 

★ Fuyusawa looks with disgust as Irinatsu’s huge mound of ice dessert arrives. He’s thankful the others get relatively normal treats. 

★ It’s awkward at first, especially with the division that they just got over. 

★ Slowly though, mostly thanks to Irinatsu and Kasugano they begin to have a normal conversation with everyone involved. 

★ They make plans to do this again in the future! Of course that is when they don’t have too much to do with Kao Kai work. 

☆ Extra! ☆

★ You know how people bring donuts to work? Well I’m sure they would bring snacks into the Kao Kai office to share too! Namely Irinatsu but also Chiaki and even Shiki would join to bring something to share for them all. It’s really nice to have a snack nearby while you work! 

★ They’d talk out while they work a lot more now, too. Instead of it being silent enough to hear each other’s breathing, they’ll start chatting about the work they’re looking at. (I’m not really sure what work the Kao Kai does but maybe they just vent when something that’s over complicated and messy shows up?)

★ And you know what? They’re technically still students right? They have their own final exams and assignments to worry about too! Just because they’re in the Kao Kai doesn’t mean they’re free from regular studies, does it? 

★ So, they’d all just gather in the Kao Kai office, work or not, to just study. Their dorm rooms or the library is too small in comparison, and they’ve grown accustomed to the grand space in the office. 

★ I think Irinatsu and Kasugano would be in a different class than the others, since they weren’t on a star team, so the two of them would study with each other, while the other three would study together too. But, the subjects are basically the same! 

★ Maybe Kasugano has a question but Irinatsu has already asked Shiki and roped Chiaki into explaining some wild thought he just thought up, so instead of getting into that mess, Kasugano asks Fuyusawa for help. 

★ As it turns out, Fuyusawa is a good tutor? Yeah, Kasugano keeps quiet about it but now he only seeks out Fuyusawa for study help. RIP to Irinatsu’s poor study habits and his victim Shiki, but Kasugano has his own tricks. 

★ In the end, they all manage to pass their exams and are able to focus on finishing their work for the graduation ceremony and Kao Kai members selection!

Every time I re-watch season 3 of Starmyu I feel more and more like Fuyusawa genuinely has a point. I can't say I entirely disagree with him anymore, or even think of him as a villain so much as an opposing force simply for the sake of the story. His villain song, Silent Noise, was amazing but Shiki honestly shares just as much blame in the downfall of their Kao Kai and, unintentionally, ended up continuously pushing Fuyusawa to his breaking point.
