okay new fanfic idea: everything's the same until halfway through Endgame, right after the time heist is finished. someone asks where Nat is, and Clint just shakes his head, gives the soul stone up, and walks away. except this time, he's standing next to Thor, so he gives Thor the soul stone. no one thinks anything of it until Thor's about to give Tony the stone, and out of the corner of his eye, he sees Loki standing there.
the Avengers obviously think Thor's lost his mind. he's drunk and he's grieving and he misses the one person reversing the Snap can't bring back. but, through Scott's genius detective work (he holds up a random number of fingers behind his back and Loki walks up behind him to tell Thor how many there are. you can always count on Scott to come up with the weirdest successful solutions), they realize he's actually here.
Loki is, unfortunately, very much dead, but for some reason, his soul hasn't moved on. he's basically spent the last five years following Thor around like a sad lil ghost. he can't interact with anyone or anything in the environment, not for lack of trying, so he's been stuck wallowing in his own self-pity alongside his brother (unfortunately without the benefit of eating pizza). Thor's a little embarrassed because he really wasn't at his best over the last five years, but Loki assures him that he wouldn't have done any better in his place, and that he's really glad he gets to talk to his big bro again and he would absolutely give him a hug if he could. (bonus points if they do try to hug and it doesn't work and the Avengers are just watching this completely one-sided conversation and awkward one-sided hugging motion.)
unfortunately, nobody can see Loki unless they're holding the soul stone, so while Tony does his best to make the nano gauntlet without it, Thor does eventually have to give up his only method of communication with his brother — which he very nearly refuses to do, but Loki convinces him to change his mind. so Tony takes the soul stone, also sees Loki (just long enough for Loki to wave awkwardly and then walk away), and finishes the gauntlet.
la la la five to ten minutes later, they're ready to snap. Bruce puts the gauntlet on, and Loki's right in front of him and immediately starts raving about Nebula and Thanos and the heist going wrong which is way too much information for someone who's welding the power of six infinity stones at once and tbh Bruce doesn't really process any of it, but he snaps his fingers and yaaaaaay, crisis averted, right?
except Bruce did more than just bring back everyone snapped away. he brought Loki back to life, too — pretty easy, considering his soul was two feet away. so again, Loki tells them that he went looking for Nebula and that she's going to bring Thanos into their timeline, so they all track her down and stop her before she can do that because fuck big fight scenes where people die. all my homies hate big fight scenes where people die.
and then that's over with and Thor and Loki finally get their tear-filled hug and everyone gets to see their snapped-away friends and Tony gets to go home to his family and Steve decides to stay in the present because it doesn't feel like as big a loss when only one person died (sorry Nat; can't save you in this one) and he doesn't feel like he needs to run from it, and Thor takes his brother back to New Asgard and everyone lives happily ever after

Son, I am awful at speaking out my thoughts, and I am tired. So keeping it short.
MCA - good. I like it. Rushed through it very much so I literally can‘t remember the plot, but I still liked it.
Alex - cool. Badass. Just a neat character all around. Nice Backstory.
Magnus - wet rat blorbo. Such a dumbass, I love him. Really wanna know more about his relationship with his cousins, all the Chase cousins. (Annabeth, Magnus, Emma, Aubrey, Bobby, and Matthew)
Blitzen - look, the name makes me think of the reindeer. But he‘s a chill guy, I‘ve got nothing against him. The expanding duck is the best thing to have ever been invented.
Hearth - sweetheart. Adore him. Such a tragic lil guy. Fuck his parents.
Sam - really much more of a kickass than I expected???? Super cool. Was really cute with Amir. Also, cool backstory. (All of them do.) would like to know how she died tho

aislinn DOES have a magic item but it’s homebrew- we call it the starsaber. so ok so this is a long-ish story but
aislinn was originally a blood hunter who got their abilities from an archfey; that archfey turned out to be a manipulative prick (lol it was loki) and aislinn was chosen by artemis to be their champion, so they yeeted loki out of their head and swore themselves to artemis, which traded their blood hunter levels for paladin levels.
over a year later artemis did something very cruel- aislinn asked for a “starfall miracle” (starfall is a winter celebration but also their birthday) and artemis said they would see their family at sunset. cool! aislinn spent all day so excited bc they hadn’t seen their family in six decades and then what it turned out to be was the asshole middle brother, lugus, on tv, talking massive shit about aislinn and calling them insane
aislinn was understandably FURIOUS and had a huge confrontation directly w artemis eventually where they pointed out “this war started with the failures of the gods and now you want us to do all your dirty work for you and don’t have an ounce of care or respect for us” to which artemis was like “lol bitch. why would i care abt y’all. i know how this story ends. my weapon i gave you is your only advantage here. either you beg my forgiveness or maybe i’ll give it to prisha (the bbeg)”
and aislinn’s stubborn ass said “NO YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK YOU I DONT NEED YOU”
they lost multiple levels of paladin but not all- they started drawing from the power of their bloodline, and in a side quest of a year in game, trained diligently with a god-killer from another universe to learn to stand against gods and not die. in doing that, they had to open themselves up to drawing power from their own ancestry bc their great-grandfather was the archfey of starlight so now they have all their paladin levels back, rely on no god or creed, and their eyes even turned silver like starlight as a result. also they came back able to kill gods and part of that is their weapon!!!
so the starsaber is a lightsaber but it’s tied to aislinn’s starlight archfey blood and it’s essentially like this: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8jnuGbF/
multi-purpose lightsaber with a base that allows for those different weapon “types” that:
- has an additional +3 to all attack and damage rolls which means it
- deals a base, a BASE of 3d12+13 radiant damage (we’re a very high stakes campaign so a lot of our weapons are homebrew to do larger amounts of damage)
- but also deals an additional 3d10 radiant to any non-mortal/god-type creature (gods, archfey, eldritch beings)
- and on a natural 20, aislinn automatically severs a limb of the creature they hit (this happened with the fight with their father where they cut off one of his legs to add insult to injury)

okay so first things first OBVIOUSLY alaira is a hottie w a body. shes currently on a quest to get blessings from all 4 elemental gods in order to wield her racial artefact (a crown), and i like to imagine that with each blessing she has received (3/4 now!!! only water left - very thematic) she has become more and more 'elemental' looking (she grew up w her high elf mama and never saw other genasi so i imagine she basically looks elven and has become more elemental looking as i said) and thus i imagine that she has like water light lines (like the top of water in sunlight) all over her skin. she is HOT like thats PERSONALITY TRAIT NUMERO UNO!!!
secondly HOLY HELL THAT IS ONE FUCKING CAMPAIGN!!!! thats sooo intense holy shit. wow! aislinn has been through a lot! fuck artemis all my homies hate artemis! very cruel! but paladin levels tied to bloodlines is very very cool & empowering!!! and what a fucking lightsaber holy shittt MINIMUM 3 D 12 PLUS 13 like ...... woweeeee
i had a dagger that is +2d8 ice damage. i havent really had the chance to upgrade weapons for a while, hence im on the lookout!
alaira is unfortunately very cagey (her wisdom only recently went up to 10, she was on 9 for a while and that manifested as literally unable to come up with any solutions to problems other than revenge). she barely considers her party friends hahaha! but theres a dragonborn named miraak who is another pc and hes a big friendly giant and while she thought he was just stupid for a while they had this really beautiful open conversation revently and now she considers him a friend 🥺 ultimately tho her top bestie is her mama. she also has a familiar but rhats more utility than bestie (bc its associated w magic which she is only recently trying to unlearn negativity toward.... u understand). also one of our party members who she cared for most left ages ago so she feels really Abandoned by Everyone That Matters iykwim. anyway here's my alaira playlist if u want HAHAH:

some of my favourite dragalia characters (Long post teehee)
ranzal: he's hot and i am a hoe for his character archetype
euden: i'm so glad they made him a real character because so many gacha games just make their main character a no one character but euden is a real, fully fleshed out character with flaws that have EXTREMELY DAMAGING consequences that we get to see a lot. for the other arc, he is so, so obsessed with saving zethia that he is fully willing to sacrifice himself and everyone else if it means she can live, and this ties into zena's struggle. in almost every single world, he does this. he lets the other possess him so that zethia is released, and then the other exploits the pacts that he has forged with the dragons, and kills euden's allies and ends the world. and even in the main story's timeline, he is Literally still about to do this, even aware of the fact that he did this a million, million times and it ended the same way every single time. and then even though he is stopped by beren's interference, there are still consequences, because all of his allies were there to watch him almost throw everything away and condemn them all to death. like Holy fuck dude. SO fascinating
zena: she is SO interesting her struggle with her own identity in a world that isn't her own and her bonds with everyone even knowing that it might not even bear fruit for saving her own was genuinely so well written. also the conclusion of her arc, with her finally returning to her own world to kill her brother of her world, was so good, and the art for it (blows up)
laxi: i'm weak to android characters learning to be human
elisanne: i LOVE her arc with just being a blind follower of the church to turning away from the church's doctrine because of her faith in euden and new alberia's cause. her becoming the grand paladyn and getting a fucking gala alt just to almost immediately say "Actually FUCK being the grand paladyn all my homies HATE the church" is so funny
harle: Fucked up little man. he's a komaeda/kokichi/dazai sort of archetype and he's so interesting. he will do absolutely anything to achieve his goals and does not give a fuck about who he has to kill to get it done, even if it is another world's version of him. and his already twisted personality being utilized by loki so that loki could take his place in order to execute his own plans is literally so fascinating. even harle's closest allies didn't find it fully unbelievable that he'd betray alberia to serve dyrenell. also harle is trying to implement socialism do i REALLY have to say anything else.
shingen: he's a bit of a hottie. thank you dragalia lost for giving us shingen in the last ever new years event before saying "Bye" and ALSO making him a great character and also have a great kit
chelle: very, very interesting character. constantly looking for ways to exploit a situation, even if it's at the detriment of her own brother. a true girlboss
basileus: i'm weak to characters who do terrible things on their lonesome in the pursuit of their ideals even while understanding that they are only causing misery but can't possibly stop because if they did, then how could they ever live with the choices they made and the lives they ruined. like fuck dude go off
midgardsormr: a true homie. i am so glad that he was there with euden in the conclusion like fuck dude. their little conversation as they alone approach xenos's domain, looking back on the start of their journey gave me such goosebumps like MAN!!!
noelle: i love a good socially awkward and highly earnest character and she's so endearing
zhu bajie: hottie AND a wifeguy!! he's so great i wish he showed up in more stories
zethia: i don't really have as much to say about zethia as i do about zena, but i do still think zethia was a very interesting character. i am so glad that they gave her more agency, and her choosing to go with nedrick was SO interesting. just as she is freed from the other, she is stolen away by nedrick, but then as euden finally meets her again as she is with nedrick, she chooses to go with nedrick. like fuck dude that's so interesting. i definitely still feel like the end of the story kind of still had too much of her character revolve around euden, but she was still pretty good
ilia: GIRLBOSS i love how the story was like Ilia, the goddess, founded the church after quelling the threat of the Other and saving the world. and then you meet her and she's just like FUCK OFF MOM!!! IM TRYING TO DO SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS!!!!! HI MOM!!!! LOOK AT MY BOYFRIEND I JUST PULLED HIM OUT OF THE SPACE BETWEEN WORLDS and meene's just like Please. Please what the fuck are you doing. also her and mordecai are so cute. speaking of which
mordecai: CUTE i love him. stupid little curious man who could do no wrong paired with stupid and insanely intelligent scientist. like this is phenomenal cygames you are onto something here. also him accidentally creating an insanely powerful being capable of destroying the world just because he thinks his girlfriend died is iconic. slay
nedrick: EXTREMELY GOOD i love his entire character concept. euden, the false prince, and then nedrick, the true prince... it was so great watching him slowly accept the power of bonds and stop relying solely on his own power from his wyrmpact with bahamut like God yes good shit. also his gala art being a flipped, dark version of euden is genuinely fucking awesome
alex: i love redeemed assassin characters and her showdown with leonidas was awesome. also she is slaying with the outfits that give that ambiguous gender swag they should've made her pronouns they/them
audric: i am once again apologising for my liking of Punished-type characters. i love how he is so fucking edgy he's awesome. also fractured futures is still easily one of the best events in the game
gozu tenno: I am so weak to big men with scary faces who are actually very gentle it's not even funny. call me gay if you must but he's so my type that it's genuinely pathetic

My favorite headcanon is that Loki’s favorite color as a kid was red, but Thor said they couldn’t both like red, so Loki started wearing green because it’s the complementary color to red.
