I got two thoughts tonight:

Vulcans who’ve become so good at regulating their emotions that they still have a pretty good hold on them even when compromised, like under the influence of chocolate, and being quietly happy about that fact

And

Human partners/friends/coworkers/etc, not just other Vulcans, understanding how important it is to the Vulcans they know to not show emotion outwardly, and how humiliating it must be to not only show emotion in public but to have that choice + control ripped away from them, so whenever a situation where their control slips, like chocolate/weird plant pollen/emotionally compromising event/etc happens, they focus on helping that Vulcan get away from people and into some privacy (even from them) instead of using it as an opportunity to “find out how that Vulcan really feels about them”

Yesss!!! <3 stalker tako who gets so nervous when other males approach you, but he's silently cheering you on from the sidelines while he's camouflaged. And he's very pleased (and proud of you) when you fight off every mer who attempts to court you. From observation, he can easily guess you'll likely try to scare him off if he tries to approach you (and Azul's confidence is always so low, even more so when he's trying to interact with you). He probably would get the tweels to chase you, whether to tire you out or to corner you, or he lets you tire yourself out when you're fending off so many males hehe. >:D

Since he's an octo-mer, he's so much stronger and bigger than you, so it's likely he'd win in a fight. But he doesn't want to hurt you. D: and he wants you to love him and accept his affections, so the only logical method of approach (in his mind) is to follow you and wait for an opportunity when you're vulnerable. <3 he's so cute when he stumbles over his words and tries to confess, but all forms of eloquent speech evade him because you're so pretty up close and being able to hold you (even if he's holding you down so you won't escape) is such a wonderful feeling. How can he possibly be smooth when he's finally getting to be so close to you after many months of watching from afar? >_<

On the other hand, he's not so cute when he's rambling obsessively about how much he loves you, how he's always wanted to approach you, how he's admired you from afar for so long, how he's always fantasized about filling you up with so many clutches until you're on the verge of bursting. :)

So the point of that episode is Fry tells himself a story that Seymour never would have waited for him, and he would have wanted him to go on with his life. And you can see why that story is useful for Fry to believe. But it’s not true.

hiiii just wanna discuss the new futurama ep because wtf was that!!

i'm so confused with freela atm? why have we gotten a second episode where leela is sort of cheating?? ik fry is a dumbass, but stil!! :?? feeling kinda icky

the toy shit literally didn't go anywhere - i thought it was gonna be like the saturday morning fun pit or reincarnated episodes.

also the end with leela's excuse being a 'science spell'?? just. the fuck was going on in that episode. ik it's not always gonna be great, but that episode could literally not exist and it wouldn't change anything

ah! yeah this one was weird 😅. I think that if you are to take one thing out of this, is that it's non-canonical episode, much like the three-parts episodes from CC, so just take it as something that has no repercussions to freela or anything else in the other episodes.

that said, yeah this was a weird one, for sure. I went in with pretty low expectations, so maybe that's why i was pretty much alright with what i was seeing. it didn't suck as bad as i expected, even if it felt disjointed and like a fever dream

if i can add my good friend's theory to the mix, @emdeejaydraws was saying that the whole episode felt like Fry was having a dream, and the toys segments were the advertisement projected inside of it. that's so smart to me and it ties it together so weirdly well that i'm adopting this view too!!

overall i didn't hate this one as much as i thought i would, but i wasn't fully happy with it either (i kinda liked the knights stuff and that over the top fantasy element, but not all the tory stuff landed for me, and that ending was so random and it did nothing for me. i know some people have been saying some endings had felt rushed, but this is the first time i've actually felt that 100%).

i will keep thinking about Fry waking up from this dream to ask leela "would you love me if i were a duck?🥺" to make myself feel better lmao

Imagine that Kim and Chay start goin on drives , coffee dates , jamming sessions , dinner dates , brunch dates , homework dates together (but discretely for safety reasons) , and they talk and talk and talk but Kim is still new to opening himself up. And like how it is usually with young love they both mess up from time to time , but especially one day , kim does.

He fails to communicate and they end up fighting , Chay leaves for the main family compound and Kim can't fall asleep on his empty bed no matter how long he tries . So he gets dressed to go out , get drunk , maybe dance or fight , somehow tire himself out so his head stops spinning , so he can just SLEEEP.

But then he comes across Chay partying enthusiastically with Macau , which makes the embers of jealousy in his heart, towards anyone who has an easy relationship with Chay , glow red. After sometime he couldn't keep himself away and tries to drag Chay away from the table , shouting excuses with a fixed smile on his face to whomsoever it may concern , we have to get back , have an early lecture don't you PORChay?! I think you've had enough to drink haven't you?

And they break into a fistfight in the garage when Chay comes to understand that he's being shepherded back home , by kim whom he was currently fighting with.

Kim gets a taste of Chay's recent self defence practice , splits his lower lip and had to spit out blood , but what surprised him most was how much he had to exert himself to restrain a tipsy Chay.

When they had started to make out slowly after a few days into this new relationship ,he hadn't been able comprehend how the kid he'd met mere months ago had grown taller than him , how he seemed way more confident in expressing his love physically , but to feel the resistance his body was now offering against Kim's very strong attempts at subduing the fight, was nothing short of shocking.

When he finally had chay pinned against the car , his bambi's eyes were angry and accusing. His fury only made Kim harder , and that one moment of weakness was all it took for porchay to flip their positions.

He had Kim trapped against the door of the black vehicle , and his hands restrained.

Kim looked at him coolly, and bared his bloodstained teeth . Chay pressed himself firmly against his lover and started kissing him hungrily.

Later in Kim's apartment, Chay had to beg Kim to stop. He couldn't anymore. He just couldn't. We have tomorrow Phi. The day after that maybe. Maybe not tomorrow. I'm all wrung out.

Kim was merciless. He needed more if he were to sleep till noon.

So basically what happened was I woke up and I was like hm lemme make ice cream for the first time in my life and I kinda messed up the conversions but it’s okay I think it’s still gonna set fine but then I thought wow what if I also baked everyone a surprise chocolate cake right so I bake the cake but then my mum starts complaining about 2 bananas that need to be used today cause the stems broke so she’s like go and make banana bread so I’m like okay so now I’m making banana bread but the problem is banana bread tastes best with custard but I hate the powder stuff so now I have to make custard from scratch but also I still have to cook dinner which I hadn’t planned for cause my brother said he apparently had to do his schoolwork. Now the problem is I woke up and also impulsively decided to make a large batch of flapjacks. So essentially the match is in about 25 minutes and my chocolate cake is done but I still need to make the icing and my banana loaf is already in the oven but I still need to start the custard which I’ll do after the match but the problem is also I still need to fry the chicken but I also wanna take a shower before the match is over. So basically I’m gonna take a shower during half time and if I die from all the stress, please know I hope United loses🙏

enrichment is something you add to a situation to increase its quality of life. i use the example for animals because i heard it a lot watching Maya Higa run an animal sanctuary. It's just a word to describe getting your animals a little extra treat (or like when you use special stuff in your soil for plants you're enriching the soil to improve the plant)

i use it for ellie because i like to believe fedra school didn't allow the kids to ever have fun and so she believes anything that entertains her or is fun is enrichment because it's improving her quality of life (and enrichment is EVERYTHING she sees because fedra kept her sheltered)
