literally your tags 1000% that’s just the fic dkdkfk ok so it starts in donna’s era & one night the doctor & jack are hanging out & playing poker & drinking in jacks suite on the tardis (still can’t believe that’s a real line that he had a room there but anyway fjfjf) & somehow they get on the subject & ten asks jack how he knew he was bi & basically they have a conversation about how the doctor is ~questioning~ things(yes ik he’s like 900 but so what i want jack to be his gay awakening) & then jack like offers to fuck him to see if he likes it but the doctor says no at first bc he knows jacks in love with him & it wouldn’t be fair to him since he can’t offer jack anything more. & basically he says just that but jacks like yeah ik you ik you don’t do relationships i’ve accepted that years ago but im still offering. & the doctors like hmmmm😳 and then they fuck on the couch by the fireplace. anyways so they make a rule about how it was a onetime thing & wont affect their friendship but afterwards ten’s shook as hell bc /woah/. & jacks all cool abt it and doesn’t think twice. then some time goes by & it’s about ten realizing he’s in love with jack except jacks still going around doing his thing, dating other people bc that’s what they agreed on right? so the doctors pining over him & jack doesn’t know it. then ten regenerates, says goodbye to jack (the bar scene where he tells jack that guys name which to jack just reaffirms the doctors not into him). anyway then more time passes except jack hasn’t met eleven yet so when he runs into him finally, he doesn’t recognize him & doesn’t know who he is. so there’s a scene like 12 & rivers scene where she talks abt the doctor not caring about her right in front of him (yes i’m stealing this ok). and the elevens like bro it’s me. and then they go off continuing fighting aliens or whatever except the whole time elevens mad & thinking about what jack said about him & he’s upset jack thinks of him like that. anyway they get into a fight about it and then in the middle of it jack dies (for a sec) & the doctor holds him while he dies & then comes back. & then we get a sad/angry love confession & they date the end

also glitch by taylor swift is 1000% the vibe of this fic & my friend made a tenjack video to the song😭

PERFECT I LOVE IT also I 10000% am so glad someone else reads the tenjack to elevenjack pipeline as "ten being too repressed about his feelings to say or do anything and eleven walking in like 'damn that guy was stupid! anyway I'm in love with u!'" like this is so similar to how @stheta and I's RP progressed. ur so big-brained u understand them

I have to go with The Joker and the King because I actually got all the elements of the song to work in a fic :) But If He Ever Hurts You and Battle Scars are close seconds due to their length and complexities.

I love all my children equally. I put too much work into each of them to not be proud. Have confidence in the fact that you are creating something and never feel bad about it!

9. A time when writing was really hard

I had to take a long break from October to early December to focus on school assignments. I desperately missed the creativity and am so excited to get back into it!!!

10. A scene/character you wrote for that surprised you

I cannot believe I wrote so much for Steddie this year! I’d never written for Stranger Things but the fourth season opened the floodgates!

11. A favorite excerpt from your writing

I’m going to do a title instead with We both have cigarettes and cufflinks because of the randomness of the story behind it. I was at a memorial for work and overheard a snippet of two old men’s conversation. That line was the only thing I caught and I thought it fit Steddie

12. How did you grow as a writer this year

I cursed more which is a big step for me :) it’s not in my daily vocab but it was fun lol

13. How do you hope to grow next year

I hope to have more time and inspiration. The media I’ve been consuming recently hasn’t given me much to work with.

14. Who was your greatest positive influence as a writer (beta, another writer, cheerleader?)

Like I said, anyone who comments or engages in any way with my writing makes me so happy I cry! I never expect to get 10 hits let alone kudos or comments. The fandom community has been more than I could ever hope for and I love you all <3

15. Anything from real life show up in your writing

I saw a shirt at the mall that blew me away so much I used it Psyched!

16. New wisdom you can share with others

You can always get back into writing, even if you’ve taken a break. People will be there to cheer you on. And never be afraid to self promote!

17. Projects you’re looking forward to in the new year

I have a Spicy Six (Stranger Things) in the works that’s been knocking around for a few months. Just need that last burst of motivation. A couple of Shus ideas in the mix as well. One angsty, one pure tooth rotting fluff. Aside from that, I have no idea but I can’t wait to see where inspiration will strike

this is a really random question, but do you think it’s a safe statement to say that “over the 11 years, millions of people have called into the dr frasier crane show”? like is ‘millions’ too big of an assumption? i’m really bad at eyeballing numbers and idk if they ever said how many callers he ended up receiving😂

i’m not super good at estimating numbers off the top of my head either, so, against my better judgement of my free time, i decided to do a little math.

So, Frasier’s show is I believe a three hour slot (2pm-5pm), and for the purposes of this I’m going to assume he spends ten minutes with each caller (this number is pulled out of my ass but Frasier is pretty meticulous and long-winded with his advice, so i’ll say 10-15, and i’ve rounded down to 10 for a maximum estimate). So, that’s three hours a day, and let’s again be generous and say he works 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year (5 days a week x 50 weeks a year = 250 broadcasts per year, which, accounting for extra missed days/weeks, would place his 2000th broadcast around the beginning of his ninth year in the radio, and the episode where he celebrates his 2000th broadcast [“The Two Hundredth”] is s9e08, so I say this is a safe estimate).

Now, if he spends 10 minutes with each caller, that would give us 18 callers per show. 18 callers per show x 6 shows a week x 50 weeks per year x 11 years on air gives us….

approximately 59,400 total callers on the Dr. Frasier Crane show.

And that’s without taking into account slow days without many callers, but, in fairness, it’s also without taking into account the times Frasier spends five minutes or less with a caller, so, given that those rates are about equivalent, that brings us back to the above estimate. So nowhere near “millions”, no. But, then again, Frasier has always had a flair for the dramatic.

ok so i think that shawn’s just in their room trying to do eyeliner but he keeps messing up & he gets frustrated. then gus comes in & is like “lemme try” and sits him in a chair & sits on his lap (and shawn’s hands are on his thighs/waist 🥺). he does it quickly & it looks good so he moves on & does shawn’s mascara and highlighter too. meanwhile shawn’s in his head like “...oh boy this isn’t gonna be good.” but the gus shows him a mirror and it’s professional like.
