finished the battle at the Black Gate and just got to Cormallen. the little things that the writers for this game put in there making me not well again:

Gandalf having to trick Sam with some “important task” to do because Sam will not leave Frodo’s side even for a second otherwise

Frodo looking pale and not being able to finish the sentence when he recounts the experience and gets to “at Mount Doom…” for the first time

and, the gut punch—Frodo saying, “Pippin worries that I will forget the details of my journey if I do not write them down?” (how can anyone read that and not just hear the bitter smile in his voice, the weary amusement and the heartbreaking resignation to the fact that the journey might be over, but he’ll never truly go home, or be himself again)
