Before I moved out of Michigan and started singing with a Major Metropolitan Symphony I was in a university choir that sang with a less major regional symphony and my first concert with them was Mahler 2. The following spring, covid shut everything down and the symphony put some of its concert recordings on youtube, including that one, and it's still there today. So if you have ever found yourself saying "why yes, I do love the Resurrection Symphony, but there's something missing in my musical life and that's a recording of it that has @shredsandpatches in it," then this is for you.
(Nobody has ever said that, I know I know)
Also it made the reviewer from the local alt weekly go pretty feral.

I think a (potentially) generation defining thing is how you feel about the phasing out of internal optical/DVD/CD (however you say it) readers in laptops.
I do not want to have to buy an extra external device that has to be plugged in. That (in my opinion) is way more inconvenient than a laptop that's heavier.
I have plenty of physical media I still want to enjoy! (I also want to collect more before things disappear.) I already own them!! so, I'm sorry, the only way I'm experiencing it digitally is if I can rip it or if I download it by other means.

the one single thing that sucks about only listening to downloaded music on 3 different apps (none of them are apple or spotify) is that you never get to have an accurate wrapped
anyways these are my 3 weed-smoking girlfriends who i love very much

tinkering with my mum's USB stick of music for the car (with permission) and feeling like someone who just got a new post at an office job and is horrified by their predecessor's sloppiness. some of these file name structures are a TRAVESTY (the reason I'm tinkering is because I noticed one of the Blur albums doesn't have the right track order and it drives me crazy. turns out ALL THREE Blur albums on there are the same and so is the RHCP album. screams)
