oh also I would love a special chapter or something with exorcist clan lore especially with like the tensions between the clans and the natori clan leaving the business and everything there’s rich lore there

#from what little we’ve learned from matoba it sounds like the natori clan just sucked? #like he said they didn’t get along with the other clans and refused to help and just ended up quitting instead #which there’s parallels there with natori and the rest of the community kind of #but like his motives for that are more of #already being looked down upon because of his family/low self-worth/shaky sense of identity/feeling the need to be independent #and have a sense of identity and self worth outside of others #whereas with the natori clan in the past it sounds like they were just prideful and refused to play with others #likely because they felt like they were too good to accept help and so on #we don’t know that for sure I suppose but that’s what I gathered #it would be fun to have backstory on all that though I love exorcist lore it’s fun to me #oh and I’ve already made a post about this before but #a lot of the main characters in natsuyuu who can see youkai being directly affected by the actions of previous family generations #that’s a pretty prominent thing in the series that is interesting to me #anyway I am once again writing essays in the tags
