Okay this is totally random but is it just me or did demon slayers animation change? Like don't get me wrong, I love the animation but just compare S1 to S3 and you'll understand what I mean. Especially S3 ep 11 (no spoilers dw :3) but the way they animated that finale episode istg- the animation looks kinda different but really good?!

Froggy! Always a joy seeing you in my inbox! :3 And yeah, you're right! It's been a hot minute, but the animation is so much cleaner and flashier now in S3 vs S1. It's so fluid and vivid; especially the fight scenes AHH! The first season's animation was still amazing, but the improvements from then to now are just- *chef's kiss* yes~ And don't even get me started on those openings and endings!!!

Man now I wanna rewatch Demon Slayer lols. I think I will after Black Clover- I have so many animes I'm either halfway done with or just about to finish T-T But no, there's definitely a shift in animation and I'm absolutely here for it!

Moose has really dark hair. Could be a dark brown or darker, though his hair used to be much, much lighter when he was younger. His eyes are also practically black with how dark they are.

Moose is 6’7, he towers over almost everyone he meets. He has a very strong build because he likes to workout to relieve stress (and this boy is very stressed).

The Shadows can be considered his siblings, he doesn’t talk about his bio family.

He has glasses but doesn’t always wear them and wears contacts instead.

He has a stuffed polar bear he’s had since childhood. He’s taken such good care of it over the years and cherishes the thing so much. He has several newer plushies he’s more willing to let others mess with, but the polar bear is off limits.

Definitely gold retriever energy.

“He has a fever- we want to monitor him overnight in case it gets worse. I know you don’t want to hear it but I figured I’d tell you while you’re here.”

Damn that Shinobu! Why’d she have to go and give him the Genya update? It was absolutely plotted- she knew once she said “Genya” and “Collapsed” in the same sentence he’d freak. He was originally going off to train with Tomioka, but now here he was- sitting by his sleeping, flushed brother with a bucket of cold water and rags.

Damn her and her direct attacks at his soft spots!

Damn Giyu for being so freaking understanding and wishing Genya better health!

Damn the small part of him that couldn’t walk away when his brother got sick…

“You freaking brat- who told you to overwork yourself like this?” Sanemi growled as he glared at his brother, expression softening some at the pinched look he wore. “Genya?”

“Mmm…n-no. No! Stay away…please…no, brother-!”

Sanemi felt his heart drop. Was Genya…dreaming of him?

“Please! Brother-brother! Don’t take him away! Please-” Genya was squirming in the sheets, fists shaking as they clutched the fabric knuckle white. He was sweating- definitely delirious. Tears pricked in the corners of his eyes as he weakly called out. “N-Nemi! Nemi, where are you?”

“Shhh, I’m right here. I’m right here.” Sanemi moved before he could think, closing the distance between him and Genya as he clutched his hand. “I’m right here…Nemi’s right here.”

“N-Nemi?” Tears leaked, racing down Genya’s face. “Ne-emi, I’m so-sorry!”

“I know.” Sanemi squeezed his hand tighter.

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry- I c-couldn’t..I couldn’t s-save you…”

“You did. I’m right here. I’m saved…You did good, kid.” Sanemi spoke, voice hoarse from the sudden lump in his throat. “Don’t worry…N-Nemi’s here.”

Genya took a few shaking breaths, eyes hidden by the wet rag across his brow. When he stopped moving and his breathing returned to a sleepy pace, Sanemi carefully replaced the rag with another, pressing the back of his hand against Genya’s cheek. It was cooler- still feverish, but better. Good- he’d be okay.

“You saved me more times than you realize, Genny. You’re one of the only reasons I haven’t rolled over and died yet.” Sanemi spoke, voice barely above a whisper as he brushed his brother’s hair back, the same way he did when they were kids. “So get better, and stop worrying so much, okay? I’ll…I’ll try to be better for you. I promise.”

The next morning, Genya woke up fever free and alone. Strangely enough, his chest felt just a tad lighter than before. 

“Huh… think I dreamt of brother last night."
