Finally made it down to the much buzzed about Little Kirin on St. Mark’s Place and can’t speak highly enough of the lunch we had there!

Their signature Pho Short Rib sandwich exceeded every expectation in its taste and tenderness...

Be sure to get the pho broth “dip” with it...

We also went for the new special, their Vietnamese Xiu Mai Meatball Parm with Thai basil, jalapeño and melted mozzarella...

A wonderful winning combo...

Their Loaded Tater Tots, with sesame aioli, ginger scallion aioli and picked red onion are not to be missed...

A short ten minute walk from our home, I have a feeling we’ll be enjoying a lot more of Little Kirin’s menu in 2023!

Washington Diner

The husband and I went to a diner here in New Jersey in Washington Township.

We each had our own French Onion soups. Usually we only get one because those soups can be very pricey. The soup seemed to have been missing something, but still overall was good. The cheese was delicious. The crock of French Onion soup was $5 and some change. (Cheapest I’ve seen these days). For my entree, I got a panini sandwich which was the same as a Reuben Sandwich and you had choice of Waffle Fries, Regular Fries, or Sweet Potato Fries. I got the waffle fries and they were nice and crispy but no over done crispy. My husband got a French Dip sandwich with regular fries and the fries were nice and firm(meaning not soggy or too crispy). The dipping sauce was like a beef gravy and tasty. Overall, the food experience was an 8/10.
