Designing Your Dream Kitchen: How to Choose the Perfect Refrigerator
The refrigerator is one of the most important appliances in your kitchen. Not only does it keep your food and beverages cold, but it also plays a major role in the overall design of your kitchen. When choosing a refrigerator for your dream kitchen, there are several factors to consider, such as size, type, style, and features. In this blog post, we'll break down each of these factors so you can choose the perfect fridge for your needs.
Size  The first thing to consider when choosing a refrigerator is size. You'll need to measure the space in your kitchen where you plan to put the fridge and make sure that it will fit comfortably. Keep in mind that you'll also need to allow for some extra space around the fridge for ventilation.
Type  There are two main types of refrigerators: top-freezer and bottom-freezer. Top-freezer refrigerators have the freezer compartment on top, while bottom-freezer refrigerators have the freezer compartment on the bottom. There are also side-by-side and French door refrigerators, which are variations of the top-freezer and bottom-freezer styles. Choose the type of refrigerator that best fits your needs and the overall design of your kitchen.
Style  Refrigerators come in a variety of styles, from traditional to contemporary. If you want your fridge to blend in with the rest of your kitchen appliances, choose a style that matches. If you want your fridge to be a focal point in your kitchen, choose a style that stands out. There are also retro and vintage-style refrigerators for a more playful look.
Features  When it comes to features, there are a few must-haves, such as an automatic ice maker and water dispenser. Other popular features include adjustable shelves, door bins, and storage drawers. Choose the features that are most important to you and that will make your life easier.
Price  Of course, price is also an important consideration when choosing a refrigerator. You'll need to set a budget and find a fridge that fits within your price range. Keep in mind that higher-priced refrigerators tend to have more features and better energy efficiency than lower-priced models.
Conclusion:  There are many factors to consider when choosing a refrigerator for your dream kitchen. The most important factors are size, type, style, and features. Keep these factors in mind when making your selection so you can choose the perfect fridge for your needs.

Which beer has the highest alcohol content?
Brewmeister Snake Venom. It's not scary enough to actually contain real venom, but with a 67.5% ABV and a name like that, it still sounds pretty dangerous! The beer is one of the strongest in the world, which is pretty worrisome given its high alcohol content.
The strongest beer in the world. It's brewed by Scottish brewers Brewmeister, and it has a whopping 67.5% alcohol content! The Guinness World Record holder for showcasing the most alcoholic beverage in the world is this beer from
Brewdog is one of the best breweries in the world, and they have released a couple of different beers that are high in alcohol content. One such beer is their Sink the Bismar ck! beer. This beer has a whopping 32.5% alcohol content, making it one of the strongest beers in the world, and it's not even close to being overrated either!

Saturday Snippet
COMING SOON!
Written for @canonfest
Prompt: Harry wakes up to Louis missing on their wedding anniversary.
[Edited]
Tumblr media
After a string of missed calls, Harry opts for taking the car. He doesn't know where Louis is, but sitting at home twiddling thumbs has never been his style. It certainly would do nothing for the anticipation nor the continuous loop of ridiculous scenarios that are doing laps through his wired brain. Harry is simultaneously stepping into his shoes and adjusting the collar on his woollen coat, when the front door slams.
'Honey, I'm home!' Louis sings, with outstretched arms. The smile on his face morphs into furrowed brows. 'Where are you going and this early, on our anniversary?'
Harry glares. 'I could ask you the same question.' He toes off the shoes and places his coat back on the peg.
Louis unzips his parka, shrugging it off his shoulders. 'Changed your mind?'
'Well, I was in the midst of sending out a search party for my husband. Since he decided to disappear at god only knows what time, on our bloody wedding anniversary.' Harry folds his arms across his chest. 'I know you didn't come to bed last night, Louis. Your side of the divan is pristine.'
'Love,' Louis begins, throwing his coat over the freestanding coat peg. He uncoils his scarf, adding it to the ever growing collection of accessories. 'I can explain OK?'
Harry scoffs. 'Do I need coffee or something stronger for this conversation?' He flicks on the kettle.
Louis pads into the kitchen. He shuffles from one foot to the other. 'I have something to share, something for you, for us-'
'For us?' Harry asks, collecting the milk from the fridge. He offers Louis a cup of tea, feeling a little guilty upon hearing the ominous explanation. It's accepted and the interest in Harry piques when he hands Louis the fresh mug of tea. 'So, what is it, Lou?'
'Maybe you should put the steaming mug down, before one of us ends up wearing it,' Louis says. Harry's eyes narrow and with a hum, he places the cup on the table. 'So, first and foremost, I'm sorry I worried you this morning.'
Harry blinks and then rambles, 'Worry doesn't scratch the surface. I've been going out of my mind, creating all sorts of scenarios. My husband goes missing, fucking missing on our anniversary, God only knows where, why and how. And I wake up to-'
'Harry, darling, my love,' Louis interjects. He places a hand on Harry's bicep and squeezes reassuringly. 'Please forgive me. I come with news, good news.'
'Talk about creating suspense, Louis!' Harry whines. He can feel tears brewing.
Louis smiles then retracts his hands, sticking a finger in the air. 'One moment.' He absconds into the hallway and there's an airing of obscenities, then an 'aha! Here it is.'

Acknowledging the fact that we need a systemic response and we can’t “individual action” our way out of this I would still like to give some info that helped me out.
To all of you dealing with heat RN: evaporative cooling can only do so much. Especially if you live in a humid area. Most of you will have access to a fridge. Wet some hand towels (or wash rags if you don’t have hand towels) and stick them in the fridge. A lot of people will tell you to put them on your wrists. That helps. It’s more effective to wipe your face and ESPECIALLY behind your ears. This is the area that’s most important (to avoid heat exhaustion/ heat strain).
Also RE fans: they aren’t the end all be all but they do help. If it’s just you on your own get a box fan and angle it at yourself. But if you’re going to sleep do NOT aim it directly at your head. It’s not guarantee but there’s a strong chance doing that could give you a sinus headache (idk why but it’s true. It’s happened to me, my mom, and several of our neighbors and relatives).
Obviously staying hydrated is important, but be careful to not drink too much water (it sounds counterintuitive I know but hear me out). If you find yourself drinking way more water than you normally do, you run the risk of flushing out too many electrolytes. Yes drink as much water as you want, but drink a Gatorade at some point to replenish your electrolytes.
I’m from southeast Louisiana where temps regularly hit upper 90’s with 80 and 90% humidity. Heat indexes in the upper 110’s. Our secret is that we have AC. If you have the means I strongly encourage you to get a window unit on Amazon or something and stay in that room. Note: the freestanding units are better than nothing in a desperate situation but the “old school” ones tend to work better.
I’m so sorry y’all have to deal with this I know y’all aren’t acclimated to this climate.
