Nelson Mandela was in USA's terror watchlist until *2008. The guy who fought against apartheid state of South Africa, won a Nobel peace prize, became a president, a beloved character across the globe was in the terror watchlist of USA. So I wouldn't actually take murica's opinion about labeling a person or group of people as terrorists. Chances are they're actually fighting for the freedom of their country.
That's why they call Hamas terrorists instead of freedom fighters. In their eyes The Nelson Mandela was a terrorist.
Anyways as Nelson Mandela said

i hope what people take away from nex benedict's brutal murder is that transphobia affects all trans people, which heavily includes nonbinary people and especially non binary people of color. while people argue over whether or not nonbinary people are trans, we are being targeted by cishets. we are actively being targeted by transphobia. we are in danger of trans panic. we are still trans, and we need our binary trans siblings to stand beside us.
rest in power nex. you deserved better. please fight like hell for them. please fight like hell for the safety of trans folk in Oklahoma. please fight like hell for all nonbinary people. we are trans. we are your siblings, too.
you can help support queer folk living in oklahoma by supporting Freedom Oklahoma, a native-based organization for trans & queer rights in Nex's home state:

KOSA Update
Following up on a previous post about the KOSA bill - a bill that would drastically change how the internet functions, in some ways enforcing the collection of private information and restricting access to educational material based on anyone’s belief that it might be harmful to children.
As of March 2024, the bill has gone through revision to reduce the ability to target marginalized communities. However, the language used in the bill is still broad and would be ultimately harmful to children and adult internet users.
Press releases like that of the American Civil Liberties Union invoke the First Amendment to highlight both the bill’s continued call for requiring or incentivizing age verification and its goal of censoring many different topics of conversation in online spaces.
If the U.S. government seeks to control, censor, and otherwise interfere with the world of the internet, then it would have to be a government program akin to public education or certain libraries. Let that government take over the responsibilities of running and funding the internet in that case if they want that power. Otherwise, the internet does not fall under federal jurisdiction.
In response to reaching out regarding this bill, one Congressman wrote that platforms like TikTok have come under scrutiny for “leaving users’ data vulnerable to access by the Chinese Communist Party, by collecting personal information on children in violation of federal law”. This Congressman does not state in this response whether he supports the KOSA bill in particular, but we hope that he is aware that this proposed bill would, by federal law, necessitate the collection of personal information of minors if websites are to follow its requirements. Additionally, TikTok’s data collection is comparable to that of other sites such as Instagram and Facebook, which are just as able to be infiltrated by political enemies of the U.S.
This update is not about the U.S. government’s ultimatum to the company ByteDance that will likely end in a U.S. ban on TikTok. Still, that news is relevant to internet users, especially those who value choice and self-determination.
In the aforementioned Congressman’s response, he also mentions the Privacy Enhancing Technology Research Act (H.R. 4755). That bill, passed in 2023, calls for organizations like the National Science Foundation to conduct and support research into technologies for mitigating privacy risks. Bills like this one are far more conducive to achieving online safety than the proposed KOSA bill. It seeks to enhance our understanding of data handling and online privacy, while the KOSA bill is more so blindly punching towards a problem that we do not yet have a clear view of.
As before, resources to further learn about and speak out against the bill are below.

I know what all of you are thinking with the ICJ hearing. The disappointment and anger that this hearing, all those evidence provided, and they don't call it a fucking genocide. Its frustrating, its infuriating, it makes you wanna strangle those judges for being so fucking blind.
But let's face it, we've taken into account that these judges are not trustworthy and just another nazionist fuckers puppets. We've taken into account that our fight don't stop with the ruling, regardless of the result.
If this makes you wanna take a break, its okay. Take your time. Energize. Eat and drink to replenish yourself. But by God, don't stop fighting.
This is no longer just a matter of stopping genocide. People in power no longer fight for humanity or justice, and we're fighting them now, harder than ever.
For now, as hard and as bitter as it is, rest up. When the morning come, we're in for another fight.

the audacity this man has to say "fixing act 2" when fucking tacked on thaniel's bullshit was shoehorned into act 2 but Ketheric being recruitable was axed. But you know, because they care so much about making a good game you can pinpoint exactly where they jankily cut Ketheric's recruitment out because you can still persuade him and then it just fucking snaps into the railroading and he'll have complete personality shifts during both his boss fights. Are you kidding me..........................

Louisiana state officials delay flood funding to New Orleans a second time over city officials' stance on abortion - CNN
They're going to drown New Orleans, killing tens of thousands of people, over the city officials' theoretical support for abortion access, even though in reality New Orleans doctors won't provide an abortion for a woman whose fetus has no skull. "Pro-life" has nothing to do with saving lives and everything to do with cruelty. It's the sort of tyranny history associates with the worst of dictators.

Hamas took hostages cause I*rael has over thousands hostages, imprisoned, tortured, mistreated for years and refused to return them despite the hostages being innocent. Some even were tortured to death. And Hamas wanted to free those people.
They took hostages yet showed utmost care to those settlers and showed them kindness. Those people after being freed are praising Hamas.
Meanwhile Palestinian hostages who have come back are telling us their horrific experience they faced there.
Tells you who's the real terrorist organization here.
Hamas is fighting for liberation, and in history those freedom fighters are always portrayed as terrorists by the oppressive force.
IOF is the real terrorist organization, not Hamas.

Librarian Molly Riportella knows the power of books.
And as a survivor of domestic abuse, she understands that a phone can be a lifeline, or an intimidation device, for people in violent relationships.
So when a woman in an abusive relationship came to her two years ago, she knew exactly how to help.
Riportella slipped the woman a phone, programmed with numbers and email addresses for local shelters, links to free attorneys and other social services.
And the experience gave her an idea. She began carving hidden compartments in the pages of discarded books from her library in Westwood, Massachusetts, and filling each with a burner phone that’s been programmed with links and numbers for local resources.
The hidden phones, given out to women in abusive relationships, can be used to seek help — especially in situations where the partner is monitoring their phone calls and texts, Riportella said.
“I include resources for safety planning, pro bono legal action, how to get a restraining order — all the things that I had no idea how to do in my 20s when I was being abused, and I was scared to try to find out,” she told CNN.
Riportella, 36, puts the phone in silent mode to avoid drawing attention. She also scrapes off the library stamp and bar code, so the book is not traceable to any particular location.
She calls the hidden phones “Book-it-2-Freedom Kits,” or Bi2FKs. And to help distribute them, she’s created BiblioUnderground, a grassroots library and social justice movement to help people in abusive situation

I will always be somewhat angry that the US gay marriage debate overwhelmingly focused on "well actually the Bible DOES support homosexuality!" instead of "your religion should not dictate whether I have the legal rights granted by marriage"
