grounding in a spiritual sense is the practice of connecting to the environment around you and releasing unwanted energies. centering is the act of clearing your mind to focus on the task at hand.
you may feel "out of balance" and unable to concentrate sometimes, this can be a sign that you need to practice grounding and centering. below i will list some ways to practice spiritual grounding and centering, but feel free to come up with your own ways as well!

GROUNDING AND CENTERING WITH BREATH
breathe in and out slowly, focus on the way that it feels. visualize (or alternatively, if you cant visualize, just think of) the unwanted energies and thoughts leaving you with each breath out and the thoughts of the task at hand coming in with each breath in

try meditating and clearing your mind of all unwanted thoughts, focusing fully on whatever you need to be focused on. focus on the environment around you. what do you hear? what do you smell? what do you see, if your eyes are open? if you have trouble with meditation, there are guided ones online

Self Therapy; A Note
I've been pondering about this concept for quite a while now. Therapy itself is a wonderful tool to pick your broken pieces up and gently glue them back together- as if they were never broken at all.
However, not everyone has the resources to truly indulge in such tools. So I mulled over the idea of doing therapy almost at home. While it won't be as effective, as far as my personal experience goes, therapists typically give out homework to their patients.
I want to make it clear that because you're doing this kind of thing at home, it is vital to remain cautious. This is not medical advice, just something to consider.
If you do not have the resources to go to therapy, doing a self therapy session every single week could be beneficial, I think. I'm making a little guide on how exactly I personally am choosing to do this.

Step One: Choose An App
There are many many free apps specifically geared towards mental health. I've used a few, one of which being "WYSA" which I personally enjoyed. Pick one you think would suit you!
I enjoy these apps primarily because they typically have some free form of help. Like breathing exercises, meditation, etc! You can skip this step if you don't feel comfortable.
Step Two: Find Resources Online
You can easily find a lot of free resources online by looking up "therapy worksheet" "anxiety worksheet" "depression worksheet" etc.
Find a couple that you think would suit you to work on for the first week. The more you find, I recommend stockpiling them into a folder! This way, every new session you can either pre-plan said worksheets or grab a couple quickly.
I also highly recommend looking for journal prompts! Especially shadow work journal prompts that help you release certain emotions. You can do this with pen and a notebook or you can use a laptop/tablet for this! If you don't feel secure, password protect documents or hide your journal in a very safe place.
Step Three: Plan your first Session
Identify what you would like to address/work on during the session. Write it down.
Find the worksheets and exercises you want to do, plan them out. It's easier to go ahead and print/write/type them now and put them in a folder with a clear name. (e.g. ST.session1)
Find a day in the week when you know you will have at least one hour of free time. During this one hour of free time, you will be taking the time to do all of your things ! You can do this before bed, in the middle of the day. Just choose a time you think would be best.
I recommend setting a small goal every 1-2 sessions. Remember, goals should be reasonable, attainable, and measurable. Little steps. (For instance, if you struggle with severe social anxiety like I did, you can make a goal "order a coffee one time", but there's many ways to do this)
You can add more to this if you want! Please remember, you can add a face mask and reading a nice book, or other coping skills/self care to this if you think it might help. I recommend choosing things based off on how much time you have and how effective they are at helping you cope. You can also add them all separately to a "self care" day weekly. Up to you.

inside the "journaling" folder, I have three documents that align with the session outline (pictured next) that is in its respective folder. The first one has a journal prompt, the second two are completely blank and only named. They're just sitting there, waiting and ready!

This is my session outline. It includes what issues I'll be addressing and what exercises I'll be doing. Also, the next goal I'd like to work towards. This includes how I plan to do so. I also put a clear DAY and TIME for this session.

Uncommon but Fun Age Regression Activities

Ciao lovelies! Today I’d like to share with you all some Agere content! Today’s post is about uncommon but fun age regression activities. “Uncommon” in this case means not often mentioned on the lists of “agere things to do” that float around Tumblr, and other parts of the internet! Of course, I can’t prevent SOME overlap that may occur, but I have tried my best to include lots of age regression activities that I haven’t really seen mentioned elsewhere.
This list is designed specifically for Age Regressors in mind, but you could also find joy in this list even if you’re not an Age Regressor! If you’re here but don’t know what Age Regression is, check out our blog post on “What is Age Regression?” If you’re here because you don’t regress, but maybe just like fun things, you’re also in the right place! Like I said before, this list is not ONLY for age regressors, but it is designed for them. OK- so let’s get into the list! 😊
Uncommon and Fun Age Regression Activities!
Doing Meditation/Yoga:
Meditation can be a great way to center your mind and clear it out of negativity or bad thoughts. You can also find guided meditation podcasts on music streaming services like Spotify, but also on places like YouTube.
As for Yoga, there’s plenty of children’s Yoga that can provide some physical activity as well! Guided Children’s Yoga has become more popular over the years and I bet there’s YouTube videos for it.
Learning Dance Routines:
This activity can be good for all the K-Pop-loving kiddos out there, or for anyone who likes dancing. This is a great physical activity that can both count as exercise and creative expression.
Making Up Songs/Singing Karaoke:
Another activity great for creative expression, making up songs! Your songs can literally be about anything you want/can think of!
If making up songs is not your thing, try singing some Karaoke! You can sing along to any song that strikes your fancy.
Trying to Speak in another Language:
I love this activity, because learning new languages always makes me regress. Something about trying to learn something challenging and new really strikes that chord for me. Plus it can be fun to learn new alphabets! You can even find kid’s worksheets in whatever your target language is.
Taking a Free Online Course:
I adore learning when I’m small, so I love taking free online courses whenever I can find them. Sometimes your local library has access to sites that can provide you free online courses, so be sure to check their website!
Reading Kid’s Magazines Online:
Another service that might be provided by your local library is access to reading magazines online! My local library has access to kid’s magazines about animals, teen magazines, and more! I love reading through these when I’m small.
Browsing through the NASA online Image and Video Library:
The internet can sometimes provide great resources for regression, especially if you’re a space-loving kiddo like me! Maybe if the weather’s bad and you can’t stargaze outside, you could look at the NASA image library instead! https://www.nasa.gov/images/

pay attention to the slight movements your body makes every time your heart beats.
if you struggle to focus (like me!) try guided meditations. there are many free videos online on youtube! i recommend channels such as boho beautiful and Ally Boothroyd
move your body
this can be however you want.
you don't even have to sweat if you don't want to.
just increase your heartbeat. feel the beating against your chest as a reminder that you are alive
yoga, pilates, rock climbing, hiking, walking, running, HIIT, whatever.
reevaluate how you spend your time
do you spend all your free time on your phone? consuming content that lacks substance? can you seriously say that after an extended time on your phone you can remember everything you read, watched or saw?
this isn't an attack! we're all guilty.
swap out your screen time for something that makes you happy. something that challenges you.
try something you've always wanted to try, a hobby you've wanted to develop
study if you feel like you need to, but remember you always need time to relax.
if you want to watch something, watch something inspiring, or something that makes you happy. watch in moderation and take breaks.
create mindfulness
arguably the most important one
pay attention to the present moment, to what you're doing and what you're feeling
really listen to what your body is telling you: are you comfortable with what is happening? are you happy in this situation? is this serving your highest self/ bringing you to your highest potential?
try to live in the present, don't dwell in the past or worry about the future

Oh boy, things are extremely rough atm. Can you recommend any healthy coping mechanisms? I literally don’t know a single one that works for me except for self destruction and being on my phone until I don’t feel anything anymore. And apparently that’s not what we’re supposed to do when we’re sad
ok so unfortunately all of my healthy coping mechanisms only half work for me and it's a total gamble whether or not they're going to on any given day. and none of them ever cure my mental illness which is annoying. like they're not fail-proof solutions and a lot of the time they're simply frustrating in fact it often feels laughable to even try them. a walk is not going to make any of this better. but consistency DOES strengthen your coping skills like a weak muscle. like even after 3 days of practicing them i'm like Ok well i feel like shit but i survived without hurting myself and that was the whole point. not a cure but a tool. ok i'm just going to list them because otherwise, i will ramble forever. btw it's ok to do like, even half of one of these per day. there's no need to overwhelm yourself at all :) coping is coping.
meditation - it sounds and feels like bullshit but i follow this youtube called great meditation and they upload 10 min guided meditation sessions and they have truly gotten me through a lot of low moments at this point. sometimes i feel much better after and sometimes i barely notice a difference but the point is i've sat and breathed for a bit
journaling - i thought i needed some sort of mental health diary for this but then i just opened a google doc and followed these mental health journal prompts ( just one every other day, nothing overwhelming, and no pressure to write a lot or to write anything in particular) and it helped me organise my thoughts and notice the patterns i was/am locking myself into. there's also trauma processing prompts online if that is what you're after.
free writing - again just opening a word doc but this time you just write without thinking literally letting go and putting down whatever words your fingers type - no judgement no curation no performance no expectations.
submerging my face in cold water, holding ice cubs - good for grounding.
crying my eyes out, purposefully listening to sad songs or watching sad movies in order to do so - cleansing, painful, tires you out and can make you feel renewed briefly.
breathwork - again there's some great youtube vids for this. i do this 20 min nervous system reset somewhat often, but there's shorter ones that are also very effective. box breathing also helps if you just need a simple go to - breathe in for 4, hold for 4, our for 4.
lie down on a hard surface or the floor with your back straight - another grounding thing. to occupy your mind during this you can name 5 things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one you can taste.
pat your arms, legs, stomach, head, chest gently and breathe deeply - again it can be grounding.
watch trail cam vids of cute animals, use the wikipedia page generator to read up on smth you've never really thought about before, download duolingo and start learning a language. not to become fluent just to get your mind out of the place it's in, even for 5 minutes.
literally just move around especially outside - HATEEE to say it but stretching on your bedroom floor, going for a walk, following an exercise video etc - it can really help you feel a bit less stale and myopic. if it's too much, opening a window is a good start. or simply standing outside your house for 2 minutes and going back in. the air will feel good.
make sure all your bases are covered - have you eaten, have you slept, have you showered, have you talked to someone in the last few days, are you hydrated? if not, make a small move towards doing one of those things. feeling like crap physically only compounds how crap you feel mentally and so the cycle perpetuates.
scream, punch/throw pillows, snap pencils, stab at paper with pens.
affirmations - i'm trying to build a list of ones that resonate with me specifically because a lot of them don't LOL. but there's a lot of good resources online for this. one of my favorite current ones is: doing a little is better than doing nothing. a job half done is better than a job not done at all.
do something creative - it's not about being an artistic genius it's about doing something tangible with your hands and getting out of your head and using the space in your brain to focus on something that doesn't feel doomed. drawing, singing, cooking, playing an instrument, writing, whatever you want. you don't have to have done it before. you can just do it.
talk to someone you trust/care about, let them in even a tiny bit. it's ok to verbalise these things. give them a fair chance to be there for you the way you'd want to be there for them. i know it's hard, all of this is, but it's not impossible. also, look for any communal resources you can find - support groups, local therapists who may offer sliding scale prices that are affordable. it all sucks but it's something.
will add more when/if any come to mind. i'm sorry you're feeling like this and i sincerely hope it all becomes a bit lighter for you soon. sending so much love. x

Hello there! I hope you're having a good/day evening. Now that you've chosen the first pile, read on to find out what messages await you. The first messages that I got for you is hold on to that hope you have inside that things are gonna get better eventually. You've probably been overthinking a lot lately, which could lead to anxiety and all that. I don't know why, but you may have been dwelling in the past a lot lately. There's something you can't let go of, or to state it correctly; something or someone you can't forgive. But Universe is saying that forgiveness is crucial here. I'm mostly getting that for a lot of you who had chose this pile, there's something that you did that you can't forgive yourself. But it could be another person too. Whoever it is, you got to learn to forgive. It doesn't necessarily mean that you're okay with whatever they did, but you have to let it go in peace. You can't let it define you. Better things await you in the future, and you're better off preparing yourself for these wonderful things than fixating too much in the past. Oh, and an advice that I got from the Universe for you to deal with that overthinking mind of yours; just breathe. Practice breathing excercises, meditation, and just silence your mind and focus in the now. Freeing yourself from your mind is very important now.  And don't be stubborn about this, the Universe just pointed out that sometimes (if not, most of the time lol) you can be too stubborn to help yourself. So please, take care of yourself. You're not doing this for anyone, you're doing this for yourself. Also keep in mind that you are not your thoughts, your thoughts don't define you. You're okay. Everything will work out. Another thing that I got is that you shouldn't give yourself away to people who you don't trust wholeheartedly, or people whose intentions are not very clear, you know what I'm saying? Some of you might have done this in the past and you ended up being hurt, so take the lessons that you learned and don't do it again. You may trust people too fast, and the Universe is helping you working out on that.

Full Moon Ritual Script - February 2024
For the Full Moon Esbat this month, I'm in charge of leading it and writing the script! I got the OK to share the script online, so here it is! If you'd like to use it, please tag me in it!

Meditation
Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Feel the air come in through your nose and out through your mouth. Take a moment to center yourself.
You find yourself at the entryway to a lush forest in the middle of the night. There is a light dusting of snow on the ground and the pine trees in front of you, and a slight chill to the air that leaves goosebumps on your skin, but not too cold that it becomes uncomfortable. You feel pulled to enter the forest, a gentle energy calling you from deep within the woods. You make your way in, the snow and branches crunching under your footsteps.
As you venture through the forest, you see small shrubs and tiny, white primroses beginning to bloom. The plants line your pathway as you find your way, helping you along. As you go deeper, you encounter a fork in the path. As you ponder which way to go, the voice that called you into the forest calls you again. You look up and notice a white owl standing on a branch leading to one of the paths, and it hoots, beckoning for you to follow.
You follow the owl, its wings almost angelic as it flies from tree to tree. Come with me, you feel it say as it leads you. It acts as a guide, preventing you from straying from the path. The trees thin out as you continue, and you reach the opening of a glade. The owl stops and turns its head towards the open space. Here we are, you hear in your mind.
As you step into the open space, you are greeted by a large lake. The light of the Moon ripples off of the waves, and you are shown Her Divine energy. The Moon glows, radiating Her gentle, guiding power. It radiates from the lake, filling you with calming energy. Come, My child, she calls to you. In Her Full Mother phase, She invites you to come near the waters. Be Blessed by my energy. You take off your shoes and dip your toes into the water, chilly but filled with cleansing power. 
Think of what you yearn most for, and look into My waters. You look into the water, watching your reflection in the waves. You see your reflection morph into your manifestations, the successes to come as the Full Moon shows Her strength. You feel your body rejuvenated, not only by the power of the Moon Goddess but also by your own strength and will to meet your accomplishments. You are Blessed by Her, full of renewed power for the coming year.
My chosen animal will guide your way home, She says. Do not forget your blessing, and feel My energy with you every day. You thank the Moon Goddess for her guidance and energy, bowing your head in respect. You step out of the water and slip your shoes back on. The water The Moon cleansed you with is not uncomfortable or soaking your shoes. The owl hoots once more and flaps its wings, calling for you. You follow it through the grove, the Moon’s guiding light shining as you return from where you came.
As we end this meditation, center yourself and take another deep breath. Feel your feet ground you as you return to this plane. Once you are ready, slowly open your eyes.

The Meaning of the Moon
February’s Full Moon, also known as the Snow Moon, is named for the time of year when snow is typically at its heaviest. It’s also known as the Quickening Moon due to many animals expecting birth and the “quickening” of the Earth below our feet in the spring, or the Hunger Moon, because of the difficulty of finding food during the harsh winter months. While the nights are getting shorter, winter is not yet behind us. 
Nonetheless, it’s a time to celebrate new beginnings, courage, and self-reflection. It’s a time to mark the completion of a cycle and meditate on what you’ve done not only successfully, but where to improve in the future. The Snow Moon shows there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and the warmth of spring in the coming months will bring new joy.
The Snow Moon for 2024 is under Virgo, symbolizing purification, healing, and grounding. The energy around you changes with the Moon’s phases, allowing for further growth and banishment of negative energy. Spring is on its way, and the old thought patterns of 2023 are now behind us. 
Writing and organization are also key themes. You may have felt the urge to pick up a paper and pen or clean your workspace, which is typical and encouraged! It’s an excellent time to start Spring cleaning and make your home and hearth comfortable as we await the colorful blooms that Ostara will bring in March.
As displayed in the Triple Moon Goddess, the Full Moon is the Mother. According to Jung’s theory of the Collective Unconscious, the Mother is a symbol of the Divine Feminine, filled with nurturing, loving, and compassionate energy. Examples of the Mother include the Goddesses Demeter and Selene from the Hellenic pantheon, Ceres from Roman mythology, or the Badb from Celtic lore. The archetype persists in Pagan influences and other religious influences in pop culture, such as Selûne from The Forgotten Realms or The Dolorosa from Homestuck. (Author's note: I know The Dolorosa is based on The Virgin Mary, but She still embodies the Mother archetype)
As the Earth slowly awakens around us for the changing seasons, She is there to guide us. The Mother represents growth, new life, and the love of all creatures on Earth. Though it may seem slow, new life is beginning to bloom. Her earthly womb is fertile, and the Spring will offer birth to all manner of flora and fauna. As the Full Moon rises above, Her Grace will continue to bloom.

Drawing Cards & Intentions
Full Moons are a time particularly suited for divination and connected to the Fae, as it was thought they’d be particularly active under the light of the Full Moon. I invite each of you to pull a card from my Fairy Tarot deck.
Walk around with deck fanned and allow each person to pull one card.
Inspect the card. Look at the imagery in the artwork. Read the description at the bottom of the card. Now, take this information in. Think of how it applies to your accomplishments this past Moon cycle and what you want to manifest in the future. It’s time to be grateful for yourself and your power and celebrate big and small events. 
Pass around papers and pens.
With these in mind, take a paper and pen and write your intention for the coming weeks. It can be anything. For example, good health, time for relaxation, or the energy you need for practicing your Craft at home. Once you’ve written your intention, fold it up and place it in the cauldron. We’ll light it at the end of the night.
