A little imagine that wanted to be written after I saw this picture!
Author: @sabine-leo
Pairing: Tom Hiddleston x You
Genre: FLUFF & SMUT
He was so unbelievably tired after his long commute home and the past intensive weeks of filming. Sitting down for a moment to take a deep breath and rub his face to get rid of some of the tiredness Tom looked around and smiled. He was home! With another deep breath his smile deepened. A waft of your favourite fragrance still lingered in the air. His gaze wandered around to find more of your touch in his, now finally your shared home. Some fresh flowers on the coffee table. A new pillow on the sofa. Your current read laying open on the table, next to it he found a hand written note.
Welcome Home my love!
If you are not too tired, your favourite food is waiting in the fridge.
Can´t wait to be back in your arms!!
LOVE YOU!
Tom smiled and touched your signature under those sweet lines. He personally thought he´d hit the jackpot when he found you. If you got asked you said that it was the other way around. You couldn´t believe that a man like him loved you with all his heart.
Getting up to take a refreshing shower, unpack and put his clothes in the washer he hoped he could kill the time until you´d come home from work. Tom busied himself until he had done everything his sleep deprived brain could think of. He decided to take a look in the fridge and grinned. There were 2 dishes ready to heat up, his stomach rumbled but he would prep the table for 2 and wait until you were home instead of eating alone. Said and done Tom set up the small table in the livingroom with a white cloth, a (unlit) candle and a single flower he stole out of your arrangement. Happy with his work he made the mistake to sit comfortably down on the sofa. It didn´t take more than 2 minutes and he was fast asleep in a sitting position. He didn´t even hear you keying open the door 45 minutes later. Quietly you walked into the livingroom and saw the table. A smile spread on your face and it got even bigger as you saw the man that held your heart sleeping on the sofa. Walking over you bend down and breathed a kiss onto his eyelids, his nose and finally his lips.
“Hmmmmm” Tom rumbled sleepily and without opening his eyes one of his hands found the back of your neck, the other sneaked around your hip to tug you onto his lap.
“Wake up sleeping beau!” You whispered near his lips. He wouldn´t let you withdraw anyway.
“Kiss me some more!” he rasped and initiated a long and unhurried kiss that felt like a thousand butterfly kisses on your skin. Tom let the hand from your hip glide under your shirt to fill his need to touch your soft skin. “Welcome home Thomas!” You whispered smiling and nudged his nose with yours. Tom smiled and hid his face in the crock of your neck. Inhaling your scent and leaving a trail of sweet kisses up your jawline and back to your lips. He opened his eyes for the first time now and the intensity of his staggering blue eyes hit you like a freight train. His deep voice only added to the feeling of fuzzy, warm and intense love you felt for him. “Hello Darling!” The wicked little grin toying with his lips told you he knew full well what he did to you.
You stole a kiss and smiled as he licked his lips afterwards. “Tired?” You asked but Tom shook his head. “Hungry?” You tried again and he nodded. “Then I better get up and heat the dinner, you did a lovely job prepping the table!” Tom smiled but he wouldn´t let you get up. He looked at you all intense and with a burning hunger in his eyes.
“Thomas?!” You asked and yelped as he flipped you over to spread you out on the sofa, instantly covering you with his whole body on top of yours. “I´m the one how needs to do the heating up…” he grinned and began to kiss you open mouthed.
“Heated up enough?” he asked with a wicked grin after a while and began to undress you.
“Seething!” You said with a deep smile that was echoed by his as he opened his pants and stood to get rid of them…and of his shirt. His next move was to rid you of yours. A hard tug and they were gone. You bit your lip as you saw him standing there in all his naked glory, fully aroused and eating you up with his eyes. Tom sat down on the sofa and you straddled him.
“I need this gone!” he rasped and shoved your blouse of your shoulders. The bra was next and as you slowly lowered yourself on him, he sucked in your nipple and twirled his tongue around it.
“Oh god Tom!” You gasped and he pushed you down the rest of the way, kissing his way up to your lips to entangle them with his own. His hands on your hips urged you to move and the slow rhythm quickly got more heated and needy as the both of you found pleasure in aligning your bodies like you knew it pleased the other. Tom never stopped to kiss you. His hands roamed your body and you knew the moment he was close to losing himself was near as he pulled you up and took a deep breath. But you didn´t want to stop, so you bit his lip and said
“Give me all you have!” before you took him in again.
Tom groaned out and spilled himself inside you after three deep thrusts. The twitching inside, his buckling hips and seeing the pleasure on his face made you fall over the edge too. And Tom knew how to make it last as he felt your walls convulsing around him. A long finger of his rubbed the little bud of nerves and made you cry out as another wave of lust crashed through you.
“You are so beautiful!” He gasped and stroked down your back as you collapsed against him.
Shivering out of sheer pleasure you kissed his chest and rested your head in the crock of his neck. “I love you Tom!” Tom hugged you close and kissed your forehead.
“As I love you! I am glad I am back home!”
For a moment the both of you just held each other close and let your heartbeats slow down again.
Toms stomach rumbled and you looked up and laughed. “I guess that means that I have to do the heating up now!” Chuckling, Tom kissed you and nodded.
“If you´d be so kind! I´ll put on some music and light the candle…”
With a soft gasp you stood up and stole his discarded shirt to cover yourself.
“Stop wooing me with music and candles Hiddleston I already moved in with you!” you teased and went into the kitchen.
Tom laughed slowly and hopped into his boxers before engulfing you with his arms from behind.
“You did, but I need to woo you some more…how else will I get you to marry me and put a little Thomas or (Y/N) inside here…” his hand spread on your belly as he kissed your neck.
“Tom…” you said  a little emotional. “…would you say yes?” he asked softly.
A little grin spread on your face. “Ask me and you will find out!”
Laughing Tom sighed. “Alright!” He let go of you and went down on one knee.
Shocked you turned and looked down on him. “You are not!” you gasped but were prepared to say yes anyway. Chuckling Tom lifted your shirt to kiss your belly.
“Oh, believe me darling. I will… soon! But for now, I am content knowing that you didn´t yell NO at any of the two things I said to you…”
Blushing a little you watched him get up and pin you against the countertop.
“Maybe we should do it again…to practice!”
Ducking out under his arms you looked at him with a somewhat stern expression.
“Go put the music on and light the candle Hiddleston! There will be no practice until you ate something!” Tom grinned and bowed mockingly. “As my lady wishes!”
He was on his way into the Livingroom as he heard what was meant only for your own ears.
“I`d say yes anytime…”
Tom smiled so bright it hurt as he went into his bureau retrieving a small black box from a drawer…

Proper Nice - Chapter 13
Twenty Five candles.
After your run earlier, you made a trip to the store in an anxiety ridden haze. You had a hard time picking out exactly which candles to go with. You settled for twenty five vanilla, cream colored candles, all of various heights and sizes. It wasn’t the kind of fake vanilla scent that made you nauseous, but the kind that was noted in most feminine fragrances. Sensual. Sweet.
Now, you were standing in the middle of your apartment, wrapped in a towel just as you were the night that Arthur helped you move in, reveling at the placements of your unlit candles. Some were placed on your kitchen bar, your dining table, and your coffee table. You decided against placing them on your precious living room centerpiece - your bookshelf - knowing that with your bad luck, they might accidentally catch one of your plants or vinyls on fire.
You moved to the bedroom to see what they would look like as you entered. Candles were perched on top of the nightstand and your vanity, accompanying your makeup and makeup mirror. Three were placed on the dresser, all of different heights like Russian dolls. You unwrapped yourself and tossed the towel onto your bed.
After curling your hair into glossy, loose, vintage waves, you pinned one size back, flattering your jawline. When you were applying the finishing touches of your makeup, your hands started to tremble.
You looked over at the tumbling red satin that hung delicately from a black velvet hanger, hooked to the top edge of your bathroom door.
You stood bare before your dress, basking in its shine and flawless hems. Ishtar is the best. You ran your fingers along the bunched up fabric at the hips and your perfect red gel manicure scratched against the grain of the satin. Your cheeks burned as the corners of your lips were tempted to curl into a smile. You thought of Ishtar’s words from a few days before. He’s different, yes?
You dropped your hand to your side and moved to the dresser. Earlier that week, you had found time within your busy schedule to visit a high end boutique just outside of the city. The fact that you had hardly seen Arthur had motivated you even more to spend the money that was burning a hole in your pocket. You took out the lingerie and placed each piece on the bed - a red lacy bra with matching panties and a garter belt, with beige stockings.
You’ve never made the effort for someone like this before, not even serious boyfriends that you dated in the past for extensive periods of time.
You dressed yourself in the lingerie, gently pulling up the fragile stockings as to not create runs in them, and cinched them to the dangling clasps of the garter belt. You put on your nude red bottomed heels & finally stepped into your dress - shimmying it upwards and holding your breath as you reached behind to pull up the zipper.
It was five minutes to 7pm and by Arthur’s track record, he would knock on your door at 7 on the spot. Hell, he might even be pacing around in the hallway.
You fastened your dangling earrings in as you walked towards the door. You extended your hand out to the knob and, before you could reach it, Arthur knocked.
You inhaled deeply through your nose before opening the door. Arthur was standing nervously with his hands behind his back. The truth was that you were just as nervous as him - if not more. It was hard to bear the thought that everything could change after tonight.
He was dressed in a rich red suit - a three piece paired with a striped tie and a cream button down shirt. His hair was styled in his signature loose waves and the color of his suit brought out his bright chartreuse eyes. You exhaled and relaxed your shoulders just at the sight of him. However, the sight of you seemed to have the opposite effect.
When he raised his eyes to look at you, he tensed up immediately and his eyes went wide. An event such as tonight would be intimidating and a sensory overload for anyone who met your family, let alone at a gala event. We’ll try to make the most of it, for now.
“Wow,” he whispered. “You look stunning.”
You rolled your eyes. “Thank you. You look perfect,” you beamed.
“Thank you…” He smiled sheepishly at the floor. “I got something for you.”
Before you could ask what? he withdrew his hands from behind his back to present a small bouquet of flowers - seven red roses.
“You deserve real ones.”
You gasped. “Oh, Arthur. Thank you so much.”
You inhaled their scent deeply before placing the bouquet on your kitchen counter and traded them for your evening clutch.
“Ready?” You asked.
“Absolutely.”
“Should we call a cab?” Arthur asked upon exiting the elevator. You turned your head to hide the smile on your face. You wouldn't dare to get in a cab with this gown on, but you weren’t going to say that.
“No, I already called us a car.”
“Oh.”
When the two of you stepped through the front doors, Arthur quickened his pace so that he could open the car door for you, but your driver appeared from around the corner. As Arthur was about to reach for the handle, he stopped him.
“Allow me, sir.”
“Oh. Thank you.” Arthur paused and glanced at you. He motioned with his hand for you to get settled in first.
Arthur slid in after you and sat at a respectable distance away without looking in your direction. It’s amazing how someone can continue to amuse you with just the simplest gestures.
The driver closed the door behind him before rounding the corner to his door. He got situated in his seat while you pulled out your phone to check it after it had buzzed.
See you later, bitch!
Sabrina. You huffed out a laugh as you replaced your phone into your clutch. You exhaled and rolled your neck in an effort to relax. You knew you had to say something - to at least warn Arthur about what he was about to get himself into. You were afraid that he wouldn't be interested anymore, not just in going to the gala but, being with you. Would he find you too unrelatable?
The ironic thing is that you’ve never found someone as relatable as Arthur. It didn’t matter what background either of you came from. You felt as though he understood you more than anyone else on a level that couldn’t be articulated - and you were very afraid to lose that. But, the truth was a lot of people - not just guys - did not cared for your background. It was hardly your lifestyle choice, but when the dreaded moment came for someone to finally see where you truly came from, it made them uncomfortable. You understood though. Hardly anyone lived the way that your family did. It was the kind of lush life that people were sure it was unattainable.
You were so far removed from your privileged upbringing that you refused to accept any kind of help from your parents. You knew better. Your mother would hold it above your head, even if she was repaid twice over.
And some previous lovers had come from almost the same upbringing as you, but it never made a difference. You thought that maybe if you gave those types of guys a chance that it would work. But, it didn’t. You couldn’t relate to them, ironically. The Wall Streeters, the trust fund babies, the Hampton dwellers. You couldn’t care less.
You reached over and placed your hand on top on his. He smiled up at you shyly. His hands were ice cold against your anxiously hot skin. You decided to change the subject in your mind. The two of you had plenty of time during this car ride - it wasn’t going to be a short one after all.
At the end of this, your family and what Arthur thought of you were the least of your worries, because there was something else that you still needed to tell him.
But, that too, could wait.
The glow of the traffic lights lit up Arthur’s face and the backseat in a wash of red. It occurred to you that you still knew nothing about this guy. “Can you tell me something?” You whispered.
Arthur peered up at you puzzlingly. “L-like what?”
You cleared your throat. “Sir, can you roll up the partition, please?”
“Yes, miss.” The driver obliged.
You looked back at Arthur. “Anything.”

Thank you guys for still keeping up! Read it on AO3 by the same name.

Set The Mood With Contemporary Beeswax Candle Designs
By Lisa Mitchell
After a long day, it helps to unwind and relax. This is the best way for many to recharge so they can be more productive and have the mental energy to move forward. However, it can be difficult to take a breather in a space that looks chaotic. By placing a few holders with contemporary beeswax candle designs in a few clear spaces in a room, all a person may need is a glass of wine. Using functional artwork is one of the best ways to add a decorative touch and in some ways, it can make cleaning easier. A dark colored area rug with bright accents or trim can disguise most dirt or stains. Fancy bowls with a lid can be a nice place to hide keys or small items that get lost frequently. There are many affordable gift sets that can be used in almost any room. These are great for those who have a sensitive respiratory system since this type of candle burns clean. Since the aroma is light, most find this to be rather pleasing. Instead of contrasting with the scents of the harvest, the slight sweetness may be complementary. Another advantage of giving these is that the majority of colors range from white to shades of yellow. These are easy to match in most any space decor and the designs can add a little excitement. Cube, honeycomb, or spiral is just some of the shapes that can draw the right kind of attention. If a person is not into wall decor, just choosing the right candle designs can add a nice touch to any room or space. Large pillars with one or three wicks look great on any bare coffee table. Other designs worth considering are the ball, cube, or spiral octagon. There are also many novelty shapes that may work for those who are a child at heart. If a person likes to use scented candles, this space should also benefit from the fragrance. What some people do not realize is that some aromas, like lavender, may be calming. Candles with a natural fragrance are the most effective, even if the scent is not very strong. Although some like to sniff unlit candles for its potency, the lingering scent can be distracting to some. One of the best decorating hacks is a large area rug. Not only can it cover up old carpeting but the right shade can disguise spills and other mishaps caused by other members of a household. Those living with active kids or friends with four legs find these rugs come in handy. Teas can also help with some chronic ailments that may prevent a person from relaxing. More people are discovering that alternative therapies either work better than prescribed medicine or allow the user to take less. Chamomile is good for those who are experiencing insomnia and hibiscus has been found to lower elevated blood pressure. If a person is looking for the perfect gift for that person that may be hard to please, going with something practical is always the best solution. There are many great items that are inexpensive but hold great value. Once the gift giver sees the light, they can create their own gift packages that work for each individual.
