I did a Workshop called 3D Materials on Monday 20th November 2023

At first I looked at my sketchbook and took inspiration from a photo I printed out of mirror images of myself using a kaleidoscope in front of the lens on my phone camera

It produced a idea of changing the perspective of my drawings by making them 3d.

The photo I took of the cardboard that I weaved reminded me of Bridget Riley's Geometric 3D designs

I fixed the fingers on the right as they were bothering me, but overall it’s cute. It will be especially cute with the star holograph when it’s a sticker. 😙

I’ll probably do another one in the future that is a lot more detailed oriented and focused solely on the crystal ball. I’ve been sick recently, so I haven’t been as productive with my art lately. I actually managed to just sit on the couch and watch some things I’ve been wanting to see. Anyway, hopefully I’ll get back in the swing of things soon. 🫠
