Edgeworth had a quarter of life crisis, went to Europe to find himself, realised Phoenix gave his life meaning, and came back ready to confess.

Meanwhile Phoenix, who used to openly admire, be worried about and even give excuses to Edgeworth even when he was kinda mean, was so personally offended by how much it hurt him to think he was dead that when he came back Phoenix completely shut down every good emotion he felt towards him and started acting like a petty teenager with a grudge.

And now Edgeworth is the one reaching out and questioning his morality and acting hurt when Phoenix is mean to him. Interesting.

She's a gunslinger/bounty hunter (wannabe Cooper <3) but sucks at it, she's not intimidating at all, all she could bring in were a bunch of lowlife criminals too high on jet to fight back, and for a measily 5 caps -_- but that's life. Most of the time she's scavenging for valuables to sell.

I think she'd be smart... good intelligence stats and had a good education under the ncr, but it doesn't get her anywhere when she's elbow-deep in junk, fishing for electronic parts.

"There's a touring opera group," he says. "It's not that production of Carmen you wanted to see in Lyon, but it is a version. They're doing it tonight, and there's tickets."

Lucie's heart picks up - and she crushes it immediately. She gestures meaningfully to her wheelchair.

"I, um, I am looking at it?" He scoots over until she can see his laptop screen. "There's a level side entrance, and if we get one of the end boxes..."

Then they can remove the seats for them.

But...

"Diego, that's a lot of money. For one night..."

The box seats four. To go, just the two of them...

"It's fine. We can afford it. I checked."

Can they? Even for a touring regional production... its never been worth taking the money from their budget, not when there are free hiking trails and museums and cute lakeside cafes.

But then, it's not like before. She can't walk the hiking trails, or get onto the cafe patios, or upstairs in the museums. They don't travel either, not really, not like they used to.

"Okay," she says. "Yes. We'll go. It'll be fun!"

Diego's smile is infectious. He doesn't wait for anything else before pulling out his phone and getting up.

Lucie huffs, grabs his sleeve, "thanks, Diego."

"Its no trouble! I just want you to be happy."

And perhaps it really is that simple after all.

So I was watching Mugiwara no Goofy on youtube (go check him out, amazing comedic channel) and it got me thinking on like average people's perspective in the One Piece world. Now that idea has a ton of discussion potential, but I have a specific thought.

What do people think of Sogeking? Think about it, this no name pirate from the fuck off weak sea rolls up to Enies fucking Lobby to declare war on the World Government. And he commands his crew member to light the flag on fire.

So already the newspapers have reported in Sogeking the sniper that took out the iconic flag, and possibly reported his sniping skills against the marines at the Bridge of Hesitation or whatever. Anyway he gets a decently high bounty for a crew member, along with the rest of the crew.

And then he disappears. Never seen again. In all of the news and reports of the Strawhat Crew, there's no Sogeking. Did he die at Saboady? Decided not to return after the two years? Is he the same person as the new long nosed guy with no bounty?

And then Dressrosa happens, and that weird extra long nosed has like the 3rd or 4th highest bounty and has God printed on the bounty poster like it's his surname??? And also he didn't even get a cool picture, this dude looks dead.
