full april 2024 bujo spread 🧚🏻‍♀️𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hiiii 👋🏻
here's my full apread of april and also the "nature" page of last month. the nature page works as a free space for me to write about beautiful nature things i see related to nature or talk about the weather when it's really good. i love doing that because i feel like my days are more worth it when i noticed these beautiful things.
also left a whole page for a list of vinyl records that i want because i'm slowly building my vinyl collection so now there's only one record on the list - Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo - but i'll put other ones in the future for sure, so this page is not only for this month but for the whole bujo
Tumblr media
here's the 2 records that i own: Nude by Dead or Alive (my fav album from my fav band outside of kpop) and Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire by Bonnie Tyler 💜
i'm currently working on the final paper i have to do to graduate so that's why i don't post very often but i don't think anyone really waits for my posts and that's okay 😆
have a nice weekend everyone 🤗

My months of rest and relaxation // day 50
These past few days I have been a bit sick, I started to get medications as soon as I figured I wasn't at my best, which has really helped because I am not doing terribly, but my energy is still very low. As mentioned yesterday my only goals for the week are finishing to set up my journals and finishing the book I am currently reading. I also want to reorganize my shelves but I am waiting for the right day to do that, because it's an activity I really like and I want to fully enjoy my time doing that. It's crazy the year is turning to an end, and that I have apparently been off uni for fifty days? Time has no meaning anymore. Anyway at the moment I am enjoying drinking a lot of tea to keep me warm and quietly reading my book.
Productivity:
continued working on my 2023 reading journal
created the monthly spread for January 2023 in my bullet journal (since lately I haven't been using weekly spreads as much I am trying something a little different, but we'll see how things go during the month)
started to migrate some important informations from one bujo to the other
continued reading Baptism of Fire (I am pretty sure I'll finish it before the end of the week, and I am incredibly happy of how well my reading experience with this one is going, after the last novel in the series I was really intimidated to continue, but reading while having the audiobook in the background has been absolutely amazing)
did a bit of planning for my 2023 tbr (and I am even more confused than before, so nothing changes from usual)
posted the third chapter of my journaling 101 series
edited future posts
practiced Irish on duolingo
Self care:
read first thing in the morning
didn't set an alarm
avoided coffee
tried to drink enough wanter during the day
lunlun's reading challenge // day 29
A character whose death upset you the most?
I am usually pretty good at accepting what happens in books, but as previously mentioned Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell had me sobbing.
📖: Baptism Of Fire by Andrzej Sapkowski
🎵: 3AM by You Me At Six

i've been annoyed by the bujo community again so i'm making my own bullet journal post. it's a review of my old one and changes i made in my new one (hopefully i can attach more than 10 images if it's in a reblog)
i used a moleskin notebook and i'm using one this year as well. these types of notebooks aren't videly available here in serbia and this was pretty much the only dotted notebook i could find here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
all of these were stolen/repurposed (perks of going to hipster student caffees is that they are cheap and the bathroom tiles are covered in these so they are easy to steal)
i set it up the way carroll does and i use that system with minor adjustements. i don't really do rapid logging but instead i make weekly spreads and i use different signifiers
Tumblr media Tumblr media
as you can see two pages would have been more than enough for the index and i decided to make a double future log spread cause i had to make a new one in the middle of my old journal as i realised i can fit 12 months in here (well, almost)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i pretty quickly realised that his signifiers don't work for me but i decided to stick to it for the first 3 months and then i made an internal review and decided on what i wanna change so the new spreads looked like this (a monthly spread plus a weekly spread)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
occasionaly i would make a callendar style spread in order to track days leading up to exams. i managed to fit almost all 12 months in here but i needed space for september so i decided to just leave the last 10 pages blank and move into my diary cause it was summer and i did not need to keep track of that many things daily. same set up just slightly different
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i like the diary set up so i've decided to use that in my new bullet journal. index is only 2 pages now and i have all 12 months in the future log (double 6 month spread) and also i switched to using cyrilic now (idk if other serbs do this but i have fazes where i use only cyrilic or only latin for like, a year and then i switch)

I would reaaaaally love some kind of PET tape or washi tape with your art. Like it would be so comfy for my bujo spreads and my diary it would make me so happy. Or maybe stickers? That would be SUPER cute. I would buy them ALL sis. Like, take all my money
wtraaaaagghhgggghhh THABK YOU!
i currently have NO IDEA how to set up an online shop (also i think itd be extra difficult since id prob have to ship internationally) so thats that
but i wouldnt mind doing pattern designs in the future especifically for this stuff as a commission ! it sounds fun:] ive also been thinking to add printed digital art to my journal

intro to my studyblr: *✧・゚: *✧・゚:
hey guys! so i just created my first blog around may to post fandom type stuff, but since I have a minor addiction to this website I thought I might as well make a studyblr to at least be scrolling/blogging "productively"!
my main is @iced-chai-tea! go follow me there, i'm multifandom bc i get bored of things easily..
you can call me kels as u can see from my username :) i'm in high school! and a minor obviously so please don't be creepy. my pronouns are she/her
(my pfp is haerin from newjeans, idk i just like their group i won't be posting about kpop, go to my main for that)
here's some information about me:
classes: ap comp sci principles, chemistry, algebra/trig, english, us history, web design, and spanish!
hobbies: reading (always open to book recs!), fashion, bullet journaling (maybe i'll post some of my spreads?), manga, kpop (lowkey ashamed of this but it's tumblr so who cares), bass guitar
future: hoping to major in computer science in uni or something related! i honestly don't know how this is going to pan out though bc compsci is so competitive..and i just like coding silly little websites
expect: lots of reblogs, moodboards, bujo spreads (if they are aesthetic enough for my liking), and begging asking for studying tips when signing up for all advanced classes catches up to me
i've never done an intro post before, i know you get more interaction when you tag a bunch of other blogs though!

My 2023 Bullet Journal Set Up
I've had this finished for a couple days but I can't stop wanting to share it so... Here goes:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My future log is split over three pages. I've done the little leaf dividers in all four of my previous bujos, and I really like them bc otherwise I feel like it's very utilitarian. I am trying to decide if I should decorate the months like I usually do (on/around the text I usually do a little doodle--January is snowflakes, May is roses, December is holly, etc) so idk let me know what you think I guess?
Trying a few new things this year: I watched like a million 2023 set up videos on YouTube and saw a couple 23 23s in 2023 spreads, and while I've done level 10 life the last couple years I didn't feel like it's really working for me so I decided to try 23 23s instead. (If you want to know what my 23 things are, I have them figured out now but it took me ages.) I've also included a 2023 cover page, which is a piece of cardstock I taped in. Not pictured are the back of it and the page underneath; taped to the back of the cover page is a letter to myself for 2024, and opposite is my word of the year: assured.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next two pages are my period tracker (a new inclusion in the start of year set up, as I usually leave it to later in the year, as a collection between January or February weeks. I also set up a wishlist and gift list, which I usually leave to sometime in October-December but figured I'd go ahead and include it up front this year. My last page is a budget spread, which I've never used before but I'd really like to get into budgeting as I like become more of an adult, so my first step is going to be tracking my monthly income and expenses here. I also have a monthly envelope for monthly expense tracking and like receipts and things, but I don't really know how it's going to work for me because I've never used anything before.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's my start of year set up! I'm using a leuchtturm 1917 with 120 gsm paper, which is new bc normally I just use a normal 1917. I wanted thicker paper this year but I love the features of the leuchtturm so this was a good compromise for me. I also got some new pens for Christmas, which I used lots in my set up too. And I'm loving using my journal already, so hopefully that keeps up too. Here's to a great 2023!

Came for the Izzy meta, stayed for everything else!
Due to seeing your success with ADHD bullet journaling, I’ve looked into starting one myself. I really like the sound of your binder method, but I have one question:
Are you writing on both sides of each page? If so, wouldn’t the spreads get broken if you started moving things around? If not, is every other spread completely blank? Do you paperclip the blank spreads together or something to make double-sided pages?
Ty! ♥️
Ahh, thank you!
I tend to use both sides depending on the pages. If I do a cover for July, for example, I might do a calendar on the other side. My "How did July go?" page can go on the other side of my dutch door weekly, because it's not going to get moved at all.
I use some marker pens that bleed, so a lot of my pages are one-side only for that reason.
I'll pair certain pages together if they won't be moved around. So, for example my yearly pages go like this:
2022 cover | bleedthrough page, so blank | year at a glance | blank so i can add something if i want | cute divider page i can move anywhere | blank other side | double page future log | blank bleedthrough | divider | divider on the other side with a key | divider | divider | weight goal | wishlist on the other side | 2022 achievements | dutch door content tracker double page | stuff to get done page | growth tracker | art ideas | goals | watching tracker | things to check out | double page "year of art" spread | double page 2022 highlight reel spread | youtube tracker | deviantart watchers tracker | subs tracker | blank | weight log | daily gratitudes
so, the basics are that things i can pair that wont leave each other (wishlist and weight goal and achievements for example) can go on other sides of the page, but things like my trackers shouldnt touch other things like my gratitudes in case i move the gratutides into the monthly sections (I havent yet)
but 16 days each (ish) on each side of the montly gratitude page works well
In the months I either leave lots of blank pages because I haven't done a lot (this month is just cover and dutch door spread) or I pair it all together
then for my references section I'll pair things together that way, so I don't add anything to the back of, for example, my RegEx page, but if I put a lot of RegEx notes on there, they can spill over onto the back of the page because they'll move together
... I do not know if this fully answered your question, actually, but I tried.
I have once or twice created double sided pages using a glue stick for thicker paper, but no I don't use paperclips.
However, if you are thinking of something like that, I highly recommend washi tape for the purpose!!
I hope the binder bujo works out for you!!

hibi hibi!! can we see you bullet journal/planning set up for the year?
Omg YES SORRY TO THE OTHER ANON TOO I keep forgetting. The emphasis is definitely on function but with a lot of scope for decoration if I’m feeling it. I always write a dedication on the inside of the cover of my BuJo, about how I want to grow this year. Last year was bravery, the year before was strength, and this year its belief that I deserve all the good in my life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Most of this is tried and tested. I’ve kept the same monthly spread since forever. The future log is slightly different in configuration: three months per page, horizontally rather than vertically. I did more scrapbooking style decoration this time which was so so so much fun.
I always have goals for the year (personal, professional, and habits to internalize). My husband encouraged me to add an accomplishments page at the end of 2021 and I’m glad I did that, because it’s been really good for me to look back and see what I’ve been able to achieve. Things I’ve written was A MESS last year mostly bc of tsor lmao but I’m hoping to be more disciplined about maintaining that page this year. Things I’ve read is a staple. Therapy log is new, but kind of a no-brainer; depresso checklist is also fairly new. I always have a “school key” which is my highlighting scheme, any other structural things I want to remember, and other notations I’ve started using. I always have a semester spread which is a master spread of assignments, grade breakdowns, etc—great for at-a-glance. Job applications for the summer break, but I’ll probably add another for post-grad job hunts eek. And I’ve added a gratitude page right after my monthly spread! It’s been a good addition so far, and I’m hopeful that I can keep it up.
I hope this was helpful!! I don’t do too many daily trackers because they don’t work for me from past experience.

Planner Recap From September
I need to make a short video flip-through of my Bullet Journal to share with everyone. Being back in a BuJo format, in my A5 Stalogy, has been great. It continues to be great for me. All I want is a planner with monthly spreads so I can make appointments in the future without worrying about, I guess, crossing the streams with other appointments, as there are five of us (roughly) who need…

When You're Accidentally Procrastinating by Being Productive
This is something that just happened to me this past weekend. I was accidentally so productive on Saturday, that I ended up pushing back other tasks.
On Saturday, the first day that I had completely off since I quit and ended up having absolutely nothing to do, the day started off usually enough. I woke up at 7/8 AM and just lazed in bed for a few hours until I decided to get up.
Well, at around 10/11 AM, I decided to get out of bed and do all the laundry I had been putting off. Meanwhile, while the clothes were all in the washer or dryer, I lay on the couch and worked on notes or my bullet journal. I ended up with an entire chapter covered, all my laundry finished, and a few bujo spreads done by around 4/5 PM. I had considered this an amazingly productive day, considering most of my days usually consisted of me either not coming out of my room until dinner or me going to work at 12 and working until 6/10 (depending on the day).
Unfortunately, I just realized that in all of my productivity on Saturday, I completely ignored some assignments due on Sunday at midnight and that I was leaving to go out of state on Tuesday and I was not packed at all (I barely even know what suitcase I'm taking).
This absolutely sucks because I was feeling so good about everything I did on Saturday that I absolutely forgot about the things that actually needed to happen ASAP. So, I just ended up procrastinating on everything that was actually important.
Now, if this has ever happened to you or if you ever experience something similar in the future, do not undermine your achievements. Realize that you did all of that work for a reason and that it is just amazing that you got so much done. Take a deep breath and just get back to doing what you need to do. It is going to be alright and you should be proud of what you've accomplished.
Let me know if you've ever had any experiences like this and how it went for you. I love hearing from you guys and I hope you guys know that your accomplishments are amazing (whether they happened because you were procrastinating or not).

#EzRepost @faynnn with @ezrepostapp Mode spam activated... 🙈 So this is my colors palette swatchbook that I have never shared before. Initially it's a notebook generously offered by our sweet @maria_trolle few years back 🙏💕 Took me a bit of time to find what to do into this gorgeous book (look at that cover 🥰) And I've started to fill it with Katrine @alwayscoloring colors scheme when she passed away 💜 Since then, I've decided to fill it with all the love letters/postcards, and colors scheme I have study all these past years. there is a whole spread dedicated to @hannakarlzon too 💖 This notebook has become very sentimental to me and there's a bit of scrapbooking feeling as you can see. Here I show you only a glimpse of it, and next time in the future I will show you the next pages, much more colored and darker, with my beloved World of Warcraft's colors and the Joker's colors. I set up my future log in my next bujo! I used this gorgeous colorful wall with gold foil on the edges of my mini Dutch door layout, and carried the colors in to the borders and titles.
I'm starting this bujo in June, so June doesn't get a future log column because I set it up immediately. I expect this 128 page notebook to last 4 months, so I have the remaining three months on the first half of the future log. Behind the flap I have one extra month and an "and beyond" section so I can jot down notes for the first monthly setup of my /next/ bujo (and beyond).
