You and Beidou are life long traveling partners, and you two are the founders of The Crux, and there was a contract when you two were younger that the two of you will always be by each others side no matter what, that is evident in Beidous hangout that before Beidou goes with the traveler, she tells you exactly where she'll be and reassure you that she'll be just fine and leaves the boat in your hands.

What the fandom thinks:

OK there may or may not be a shipping war between Beiwang and Beider (the ship name between Reader and Beidou). But the Beider shippers are having the time of their life cuz when beidou is on the scene Reader is never far behind, even Thoma had pointed out how close they are, and Kazuha suspects that Beidou and Reader may be more than friends. But most people(nps) just excuse it by saying that you two are just "close friends". As fanfics go there are a lot of aus specifically where Readers and Beidous roles are swapped and there's a handful of soulmate aus.

As seen in the voiceless abb you, you guys have a friendly relationship that may or may not be more than just partnership between coworkers, and that's evident by how often yae takes you off work just to go restaurants and try out their new dishes or when the two of you walk around the shore and talk abb whatever is occupying your minds or when you are sketching in the moonlight due to you getting inspiration in the middle of the night and if you look carefully there's a pink fluffy companion in your lap warming you up.

What the fandom thinks

Ok the fandom itself has mixed feelings. On one side we got the toxic Eimiko shippers slandering Remiko( the ship name between reader and yae miko) with each opportunity they get. While the other Eimiko shippers are trying to reassure Remiko shippers that not every Eimiko shipper is like that and it's ok to ship whatever you want as long it's not problematic. Remiko shippers on the other hand are just chilling and enjoy every interaction there is to consume, and the ship itself got more recognition in the update where yae was released and in your hangout it's obvious that yae wasn't pleased at all when the traveler had to drag reader out of their date, meet up.

You and Zhongli met at the Third-Round Knockout restaurant and since you were the only people left there and it was quite late, he ofered you to walk you home, and in the meantime you guys started to talk abb liues history, afer a while u two started getting closer because of ur similar interest in history, even if u were visiting another nation he would write u letters abb what stories u missed so when u would come back u wouldn't had missed a thing and as per usual he would walk u home as u talked abb ur travels, at this point it's a routine, he will insist for u to talk abb things you enjoy because he loves the look of excitement and passion in your eyes, for him your presence alone is refreshing and a breath of fresh air.

What the fandom thinks

Once again the fandom is having a shipping war but surprisingly it isn't from Zhonchi shippers and Regli ( the ship name between Reader and) shippers, but it's mostly the rest of the fandom debating whether witch one is more "valid". Some folks on tiktok are saying proship this, midship that but at the end of the day the ship itself isn't problematic in any way so yeah. But hey in the lantern rite festival there was a cutscene where the two of you were enjoying a nice meal while admiring the fireworks, also you were seen with him in the end of the second part of the Liuye Archon quest. Also let's not forget the matching compass necklace that points in the direction of each other.

Before I answer your lovely questions, I wanted to say, my thoughts about the item I have in mind is to connect it with certain parts of TS songs you like best. In truth I'm hoping you like Cardigan, because being that this is made of yarn, it's almost as if it's unraveled from something already beloved and then reconstructed into a decorative piece, if that makes sense! But NP if that's not one you're fond of-- I can integrate your faves with some ingenuity (hopefully that doesn't seem too reverse-engineered!) Basically, what is some of your favorite imagery from her songs or something you've seen her do at events/concerts?

I have a couple of elementary school aged kids so I totally appreciate the awesome work you and other teachers do! I hope you've had a mostly lovely year, free from troublemakers like me strong-willed kiddos who make things difficult! What's your favorite thing that's not a conventional teaching thing? So like, if your school has a tradition of a certain creative way to reward good behavior, or a park nearby that you get to go to, etc.

Oooh, excellent re: Reputation, I gotta agree. It's tough because I play the living hell out of the songs and then they get kind of 'worn down' in my mind and my love for them aren't as evident? So that sharpness of 'yes! that's my FAVORITE' that springs up when I see the song titles is dulled. Adjusting for that, gosh, I pretty much adore every song on that album, especially King of My Heart and Dress. I rave about the moment in the stadium tour where she's dancing during KoMH and she and the super charismatic awesome dancer guy do the little shoulder jump when the drums go, after they pause and grin at each other?! PERFECTION. If you asked me to define 'joy' with a single clip, it's that one.

As for fanfic, I started a while back and so I have a bunch of HP stories, but have moved on to Marvel, particularly the OG Avengers. My speciality is to weave powerful character study stuff with a good plot arc, often turning a popular trope on its head, and sometimes with a twist before the end! I often describe my favorite stories I've written as 'love letters' to a particular character.

What's something that you look forward to getting to do someday? Is it something you've wanted a long time? As you get older, does it seem more or less attainable? If it shifted slightly to more realistic, what would that look like? If it shifted to less realistic, how would it change?

I LOVE Cardigan. My favourite Swiftie songs are the most cowboy numbers (like Betty), the angry songs (like LWYMMD), as well as the sweetest songs (like Daylight). My overall favourite is obviously Blank Space haha. I love her nods to space and stars, anything to do with time, and the whole gold thread idea from folkmore. My name is Grace so I'm also obsessed with her songs with the word 'grace' in them. I've only seen her in concert once - at Wembley for the Rep tour - so I was able to see the whole of Rep live in one night! I adored the King of my Heart performance, and Don't Blame Me.

That's such a great question about school. I like our little weekly achievement assemblies, where the kids get to show their work. We do Just Dance in class when they're stressed or tired, which is always brilliant.

I can't wait to find out who you are so I can read some of your fics. Mine were very British-based - I think I did Doctor Who, Sherlock, Harry Potter, and also some X Files ones haha.

Is it basic if I say owning a house? When I was little, it was something I thought just happened but now seems so out of my reach. It's definitely my current life aim and all I seem to do is save money and it never gets anywhere. It doesn't have to be somewhere big - just a little house or flat that I can decorate. I've also always wanted to write a book. It does feel like something I will end up doing but I don't think it will be the instant bestseller I imagined as a kid; I imagine I'll self-publish when I'm 50 after I've been writing it for 30 years. I think if I was going to try and write a book properly, I'd have to take a sabbatical from work

Arval dialogue mentions from the moment of birth he has a function he had to serve. It seems he’s basically more AI than human, which is why he laments turning on the only thing that had ever made him feel true emotion in Shez to fulfill his duty to the psychopaths.

That’s what it is shaping up to be, yeah. Arval seems to be kinda like a base for his real self to awaken from. Arval = likes Shez, not!Arval = a horrible Slither man.

I can see where they’re going with Arval now that I’ve seen dialogue that makes it more clear they were born and came to exist solely to fulfill their mission, but doing so never made Arval happy. Arval seems to be as close as we can get to an Agarthan who realized what’s wrong with the group, since he had to empathize and attach to a Non-Agarthan in Shez.

Yup, and I’m mostly ok with this development.

I would prefer if they were just straight evil and manipulative from the get go just because I think that would be fun, but this is fine too.

See that Dimitri/Yuri support really gets into why the whole "Dimitri's such a status quo guy" dumb take annoys me so bad, especially the ones that popped up after Dimitri admitted in the Three Hopes demo he wants to focus on stability over reforms. Because he's right! You can introduce all the societal reforms in the world into your community but if that community doesn't already have a stable foundation to build off of, NONE of those reforms will work as they're supposed to, if they even last!

He’s 100% right and I’m tired of pretending he’s not. His support with Yuri is really good, and just shows he wants the people to be a part of politics, not just the best and brightest. 

Trying to introduce reforms without something to back it up is not the way to go. Shit takes time. People are stubborn. And most people will care about their stomach more than if they should be friends with their neighbors or who is ruling next. 

Fix the basic things, then move to the more complex ones.

My two favorites of 3H are Sothis and Claude and I always wish they had more. Well be careful what you wish for right because more just means hardcore OOCness and taking everyone you loved about them and spitting on it. Claude while I don't like it I understand he apparently really needs Byleth to grow which is kind of interesting but what is the deal with Sothis now what changed with her?

Sothis is interesting, because she seems to have awoken with more memories than before. Like, she had more time to cook or something. She’s more fearsome, but I’m not sure if I want to totally write her off just yet. That said, I’m not entirely impressed either. 

She just seems angry. Which is fair. Her vessel is almost killed and she wakes up to save them, only to see something nasty (a Slither) and learning that her children are dead and shit. She’s big angy. 

It’s an interesting direction. It could be done well... maybe.

Seems as a Nabatean fan I got scraps. I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed lol. A dumb question but, I know sothis and byleth kinda lose their shit at shez/arval. Is sothis's relationship to arval ever explained? Did arval have a part in her murder or the red canyon? Is that why she pushing byleth to kill arval? Or is it just never brought up again? Is byleth hair color change just a random event or is it spurred on? Sorry for this word barf.

Nah, don’t worry anon. It does seem like we will get some Nabatean stuff ie Seteth and Flayn with paralogues and stuff, but that’s probably AG only. 

We still don’t know much about Arval/Sothis, other than Arval is not a god, and that he was there to fight Seiros. But she does recognize that Shez is some Slither descendant or something, and wants them gone (understandable)

Byleth’s hair is brought on by Sothis’ sudden awakening. Sothis suddenly awakens to protect Byleth and takes over their body instantly. Thus, color change. 

Rhea blushing sprite is noticeably redder around her eyes than her other portraits, and AG cinematic is much redder in the same area.

The mind control is great for one reason: It forced Thales to confront the fact he was really high off his own farts and couldn’t see despite in 3 Houses all her blatant threats and undermining that Edelgard was NOT under his control. It’s funny seeing that now he has to use something to put her under control and by doing so proved he really was being an arrogant idiot.

I guess, but it still sucks. It robs Edelgard of agency, for one thing. Making her actions not her own undermines her character and those around her.

From what I can tell, he seems to be working with Dimitri a bit. But if he instigated the rain in Sreng on AG, oof, that’s not a good look either. I hope that’s a GW thing or something.

Favourite time of the year: September/October. I used to think it was spring, but since I am a Pumpkin Spice glutton, I prefer the first crisp scent of autumn rolling in from a hot summer. Truly it sends my brain into the happiest of spaces.

Comfort food: Pizza. Bread. All of the bread. Bagels. Mac & Cheese. 

Favorite dessert: Red velvet anything, tiramisu, or triple-quadruple chocolate anything. Oh -- and those cute little Pillsbury cookies that come out with the ghosts and stuff on them for holiday seasons.

Things you collect: Disney park maps. Coasters from breweries. 

Favorite drink: Iced Caramel Macchiato is my kryptonite, but if you really want me to die, then... PSL for life. (I told you I was severely basic and a glutton for it!)

Favorite musical artist: Pretty sure at this point my favorite artists of all time (that I would see multiple times in one year) are Bon Iver, The Weeknd, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Last song you listened to: Back Door by Stray Kids. K-Pop is seriously the best workout music and I have a massive playlist I pop on for my 30 Day shred program I’m finishing up right now.

Last movie you watched: Prey. I do not know shit about the Predator films and was never an AvP kid, but I was genuinely so impressed with this one. I am quite literally obsessed with the lead actress right now. Girlie was badass.

Last series you watched: A finished series/season? The Boys. It’s a shame the finale was so bad, because I thought S3 was likely their best season to date.

Series you’re currently watching: Harley Quinn on HBO Max, What We Do In the Shadows, She-Hulk, and I’m way behind on 80 other things from the chaos of this past summer.

Current obsession: Youtube Documentaries? I don’t know why I’m super into long form, 2-4hr pieces recapping tv shows I never got around to in my youth or extremely long discussion videos dedicated to the depraved and true crime, but that’s all I’ve been doing in lieu of my depleted creative outlet. Also Bingo Blitz. I fucking love Bingo Blitz.

Dream place to visit: New Zealand. Scotland. All of the Disney parks (I know.)

A place you’ve been that you want to go back to: California! I got to visit on a work trip in 2018 and I barely got to spend time there, and there are so many museums that I want to check out.

Something you want: To jump over the final hurdle of moving into my new townhouse so I can enjoy writing at a constant again. Also, for it to be acceptable to put all of my Halloween decorations up because I am so sick of pretending we want summer to continue.

Currently working on: Meet Me on the Other Side (Finale), Point A to Point B (Chapter 15), Same Old Mistakes (Act 4) -- going back to the series basics until something randomly hits me in the face with inspiration!

Favourite time of the year: Mid to late autumn because I'm a NE girl and the double-punch of leaves changing and crisp air makes me way too nostalgic. Plus all of my favorite bakery treats are fall-themed ones (apple pie, pumpkin pie, big roast dinners, etc)

Comfort food: Fried eggs on toast. Banana bread. This chicken and rice dish made with red pepper sauce and beans. My mom's potato salad and my dad's grilled steak tips (served together, of course).

Favorite dessert: Apple crisp. Pumpkin pie. Fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie on a tiny plate. Panna cotta with berries.

Things you collect: Magnets from any place I travel to (my fridge is covered in them). Tiny seashells. Books with cool covers. Fabric scraps and notions I tell myself I'll use in a project then never do.

Favorite drink: Iced coffee with milk and honey syrup. I don't drink a lot of things besides coffee and water, but if I'm splurging a coconut water, or maybe a Fresca (which I don't think anyone but me drinks anymore).

Favorite musical artist: My music taste is always changing, but my ride-or-die classics are Bonnie Raitt, most bluegrass artists, or any pop band from the 90s that reminds me of a school dance.

Last song you listened to: The soundtrack to Vox Lux because it's all my husband's been listening to today.

Last movie you watched: Licorice Pizza. It was okay, not my scene so much but it had some nice cinematography and some unique moments.

Last series you watched: The Staircase, which was really interesting. We discovered halfway through that the true story it's based on was also parodied in one of my favorite comedy shows Trial and Error, which was really jarring. But I highly recommend both shows! (I still quote Trial and Error almost daily)

Series you’re currently watching: Narcos because I'm doing "research" (just about to start the S2 finale) and House of the Dragon.

Current obsession: Can writing again be an obsession? Because my god, it feels so good to be doing it after not for so long. Also obsessing over everyone's stories that I desperately want to read but I'm forcing myself to finish follower asks instead. I promise I'm coming my loves, your stories are the carrot at the end of the proverbial stick for me!

Dream place to visit: Morocco. New Zealand. Japan.

A place you’ve been that you want to go back to: France, but the south since I've already spent plenty of time in Paris and the Loire valley.

Something you want: To survive this five day renovation project without pulling my hair out or injuring myself. First time laying laminate floors and fingers crossed it goes smoothly!

You were usually pretty good at telling yourself that you were blowing things out of proportion. It didn’t always stop you from doing so, but it usually talked you off a ledge. This week, it seemed that there was no talking yourself off of the ledge.

Other than the fact that you were five pages into your portfolio that you were submitting to Temple in an attempt to get into their MFA program, one that you’d been wanting to go to for years at this point, your ex had made a recent appearance in your life. As if the stress from applying to grad school wasn’t enough for you to handle, you had run straight into your ex on your way home from grabbing coffee.

It would’ve been enough if you had just run into him, if you had to exchange pleasantries with the same person who shattered your heart into so many pieces you were still recovering two years after the break up. The same person that traumatized you enough to have to put your current relationship on a speed so slow that you were sure a sloth would have moved faster.

Nolan had been patient with you, which you were beyond thankful for. He was fine with things going at a snail’s pace, given that you weren’t the only one between the two of you that had a rocky past with romantic relationships. It wasn’t news to anyone that you were together, but it had been confusing for just about everyone outside of the two of you.

There wasn’t a label on it, neither of you needed one to know where you stood. Both of you had an understanding that you were just as damaged as you were interested in each other, and working slow without any labels or the need to structure your relationship in society’s idea of normalcy was your middle ground. It allowed the two of you to breathe, without leaving a lingering doubt about how the two of you felt about each other.

People pestered the two of you about it, why you wouldn’t wear a WAGs jacket or introduce Nolan to your parents when they were in town. They didn’t get it, but they didn’t need to. You and Nolan communicated very well with one another, and if the two of you knew what was going on with everything, then nobody else needed to. Neither of you needed anyone else’s validation to be content with where the two of you stood.

But then you ran into your ex. Your shoulder collided with his on the street and while you thought you were piecing yourself back together from everything he put you through, the mere sight of him sent you down a spiral that you had avoided for as long as you possibly could.

It’s not that you missed your ex, because you didn’t. You didn’t miss him or the way he spoke to you, nor did you miss the lack of communication and being left in the dark more often than not. Seeing him made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, but everything he put you through came to the forefront of your mind, and you were unintentionally overwhelmed with the worry that you’d end up in the same scenario with Nolan one day.

You didn’t think that Nolan would hurt you, not the way you’d been hurt in the past. You trusted him more than you’ve ever trusted anyone, and he proved that he deserved that trust. It wasn’t the thought that Nolan would become the person your ex had been, but the thought that there would be a day where Nolan was your ex.

It was scary and deafening, and the reason you couldn’t finish your portfolio. You’d been writing for hours, or trying to. The chair you were sitting in had grown uncomfortable in the first hour, and you had migrated around the apartment to look for a place that didn’t hurt your ass or your back. Unfortunately you couldn’t find one, opting to sit on the floor in between your couch and your coffee table. You’d been so lost in thought that you had spent six hours without responding to anyone, not even realizing that time had gone by that quickly until you got a call.

The only reason you even saw the call was the fact that the notification popped up on your computer. You knew he knew something was up because he rarely ever facetimed you without asking if you were free first; though, if he had texted you first there was no way of you knowing with your phone in a completely different room. He only ever facetimed you unannounced when you didn’t answer your phone for a while. He knew you could answer facetime calls on your laptop, and while you weren’t always in the mood to talk to him at that moment, it was enough to get your attention and let you know that he was worried about you.

But you answered it today, regardless of the fact that you looked a mess and felt even worse. You answered because you needed him to ground you, to pull your head out of the clouds and silence the thoughts that had been buzzing in your mind for over 24 hours.

“Hey.” you forced a small smile to your lips before reaching behind you to turn on a lamp, unaware of the darkness you were encased in until now.

“You okay? You’ve been MIA all day.” you rolled your eyes gently, a playful smile playing on your lips.

“It hasn’t been all day.” you tried to assure him that he was being slightly over dramatic, but the look in his eyes told you that that was not the case.

“Y/n, it’s midnight.” that it was, though it was the first time you were realizing that. You had no idea what time it was, and sitting in front of your computer for the past six hours had not helped that fact. “What happened? Talk to me.”

“This portfolio’s just stressing me out.” he hummed, unsure that was the full reason. He could tell in the way that your forehead creased and your eyes narrowed slightly that there was more than just a little stress going on. You’d been stressed about this thing for weeks, there had to be something else that was going on with you.

“So you’re not going to tell me what’s wrong?” you sighed softly, unsure if you wanted to unpack all of that right now. “Alright. Be ready in ten minutes.”

“Ten minutes? Nolan I can’t get ready in ten minutes-”

“Just put a pair of sweats on and go stand outside. I’ll be there in ten.” he hung up then, not giving you much of an option but to do as he said.

Nine minutes after Nolan hung up on you, you were standing outside, teeth chattering lightly while you bounced on the balls of your feet. The familiar car pulling up in front of you made you smile, and when you stepped up to the door you heard the lock click.

You pulled yourself into his car quickly, sighing out in relief at the warmth that encased you. Your eyes found his, a warmth spreading through your chest as you leaned over the center console to kiss him softly. He hummed against your lips, chasing you for just a moment when you pulled back. The next one lasted just a second longer, noses bumping against one another softly.

He pulled back then, moving to kiss your cheek before sitting back in his seat and moving the gear shift into drive. His right hand found its home on your thigh, the warmth from his palm radiating through your sweats and into your skin.

“Where are we going?” your voice was soft and peaceful, like the sound of home on a cold winter evening that Nolan wished he could live in forever.

“Nowhere.” he shrugged, glancing over at you for a moment to smile at you. He didn’t have a destination in mind, just driving around the city for the night. It wasn’t the first time the two of you had done this before, and you doubt it’d be the last.

These nights were your favorite; Nolan driving absolutely nowhere with his hand on your thigh and his ear offered up to you. Sometimes you didn’t talk for hours, just listened to whatever playlist the two of you chose and drove until one or both of you got too tired to continue. Sometimes you ended up hours away from home, which got the two of you (usually Nolan) into trouble from time to time.

“What’s up, what’s rotting your mind?” you leaned your head onto his shoulder, wanting to be close to him more than anything right now.

“It’s stupid.” you whispered gently.

His hand moved up from your thigh to cup the underside of your jaw. He moved towards you, eyes still locked on the road while his lips pecked yours softly. It was cheesy and a bit awkward, but it wasn’t the first time he’d done something like that. It was meant to soothe you, and it did. Nolan wasn’t a man of many words but his actions always spoke loud enough for you to hear him clearly.

“It’s not stupid if it’s bothering you.” his voice was as gentle as his heart, something you loved dearly about him. He wasn’t pushy or demanding, rather patient and gentle.

“I ran into Kai yesterday.” his muscles tensed, along with his hand gripping your thigh just a little tighter than it previously had been. It wasn’t a huge change but you picked up on it, along with the way his jaw clenched and he sighed through his nose.

Nolan had never met Kai, and you hoped he never would. Not because you thought Nolan would kill him or anything, but because you wished that nobody in your current life had to ever interact with people from your past. Kai knew a completely different person than the one Nolan knew, and you didn’t want to be the person you used to be. You didn’t want Nolan to be subjected to hearing about her or the life she previously led.

“Did he say something to you?” you didn’t expect much different from him. He’d always been a safe amount of protective. He wasn’t the type to run out of the house at the first sound of danger and pummel everyone into the ground, he just wanted to make sure you were alright. He wouldn’t put a bounty out on Kai, but if he did or said something that was still bothering you, he’d do everything he possibly could to make you feel better.

“I mean yes, but not in the way that you’re thinking. It wasn’t what he said it’s just,” you sighed, one that made your cheeks puff out and your eyes flutter shut for a moment.

“It’s just that now you’re scared that that’s how we’ll end up.” you lifted your head off of his shoulder, looking at him with narrowed eyes and a furrowed brow.

“How’d you learn how to read minds? That’s a pretty cool party trick, you know?” he laughed gently and tapped the inside of your thigh while shaking his head at you. You always tried to lighten the mood by making small little jokes out of things and while some people found it to be unbearable, Nolan loved every single second of it.

“I wish I could read your mind, it’d make things a lot easier most of the time.” you rolled your eyes but laughed, finding truth in his words.

“I just don’t want history to repeat itself, you know? I’m just scared that the things I’ve been trying to avoid are inevitable. What if they happen anyway? What if everything I’ve been working for is useless and everything i’ve run from is my destiny?” Nolan sighed softly and pulled into a parking garage, one that you weren’t familiar with.

“Everything you and Kai went through, stays between the two of you. I’m not him, and I’ll never be him. I won’t say we’ll never fight, because I obviously can’t guarantee that. We’ll fight, everyone does, but we’ll get past it. We’ll survive it all. That, I can assure you. I can promise you that I would never treat you the way that that douche did.”

He doesn’t promise you the world, nor does he promise to shoot for the stars. He doesn’t promise that things will always be alright, but that’s what you love about Nolan. He doesn’t set unrealistic expectations. He doesn’t tell you what you want to hear just to make you feel better. He’ll do a lot of things to make you feel better, but lying to you isn’t one of them.

“If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, you know? You just have to let it be, which you’re not entirely skilled at.” you punch his arm softly just as he parks at the top of the parking garage that’s almost completely empty.

“What if what it’s meant to be isn’t what I want it to be, though?” Nolan shook his head gently and turned towards you, a soft smile sitting on his lips.

“It won’t be at times, but that doesn’t mean it won’t ever be. If people could write out their lives exactly like they wanted them to be, nobody’s lives would align. You have to let things play out, baby, and I know that’s the scariest thing about life itself, but it’ll work out. If it’s meant to be, I promise it’ll be.”

Your lips move before your mind can catch up. You’re so immersed in him, neck deep in whatever he’s cooked up for you, but you don’t try to get out. He’s everything you’ve ever wanted and more. You didn’t think that anyone could be so perfectly hand crafted, treated with such care that even his flaws were beautiful. You didn’t plan on telling him you loved him, didn’t plan on saying the words that have done nothing but haunt you for the last few years.

“I love you.” it comes out in a breath, like it’s lifted a weight off of your shoulders.

He can tell you didn’t mean to say it, because your eyes blow wide open and your lips part in a way that he can tell you’ve spoken out of impulse rather than preparation. Your cheeks are hot and your hands shake just enough for Nolan to reach for one of them and hold it tightly in his own.

He’s smiling, which is as confusing as the small laugh that he lets out. It’s confusing and almost angering, but you don’t have time to ask because the second your brow furrows, he’s tumbling out an explanation for his reaction.

“I love you too. Have for a while, probably always will.” it melts your heart that’s sunk into your stomach. You’re not sure what you did that made the universe gift you with Nolan, though you believe it to be something between adopting a child in a past life or buying a woman’s order at Taco Bell when she forgot her wallet at home.

He expects you to say something else, maybe ask if he’s joking or not, but you don’t. You’re frozen in your spot, tears building up in your eyes that make Nolan meet you over the center console and pull you into his chest. He doesn’t know exactly why you’re so emotional, but he has a feeling it has to do with your traumatic past and the fear that others have installed in you. He just wants you to be happy, especially if he gets to stick around to make it happen himself.

“I love you so much, and it’s fucking terrifying.” he kisses the top of your head, his hand moving up and down your back in the most soothing pattern he can come up with.

“I know, and I’m scared too. Maybe we always will be, but we can’t spend too much time worrying about it or else we won’t get to experience it. We’ll ruin it for ourselves, and I don’t want to do that.” you shook your head, your silent way of telling him that you don’t want to do that either. You wanted to let yourself cherish falling in love with Nolan.

“If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, right?” he smiles down at you, one of the widest smiles you’ve ever seen him present. You store it in your memory, hoping you’d never forget the sight of him smiling at you like you were the only thing that mattered in the word.

“That’s right, baby. And I have a pretty good feeling about us.”

Humming along to the song in your headphones, you took the last shirt out of the laundry basket and folded it. The sunlight meshed with the slightly sheer curtain before dimming the natural light in the room. You subconsciously started to twirl around and dance, not caring enough to look in the mirror, or at the doorway for that matter.

“Imagine not having two left feet.”

Kuroo leaned against the open door frame, his voice a little muffled from your music.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were looking?? This is embarrassing.”

“Darling, I just complimented you. What are you listening to?” He came over and took an earphone out, placing it in his ear. One of your favorite songs blared as he smiled, quickly grabbing your phone and changing the song.

“Hey what are you-oh.”

It’s Been A Long, Long Time played in your right ear, the wire of the headphone drooping before going back up to connect to your boyfriend’s left ear. He moved closer and hugged you, his plan very evident.

“I may be a bad dancer, but slow dancing is my thing.”

“It’s just swaying though.”

“Shhh let me enjoy my moment.”

He pulled away but loosely kept his arms around your waist, hands clasping each other. Yours looped around his neck and your head pressed against his chest, hearing the slight hammering of his heart. You faced the now drowning sun, rich orange tones masking your heart do leaps.

You moved together, light smiles on both faces, cautious of not stepping on each other’s feet.

The song ended but you both kept slowly rocking before you looked up and kissed him. His appearance darkened by the lack of sun that once was bright, was still beautiful as ever.

“I think I like this type of dancing, we should do it more often.”

Bond 2: One of the Robin Hood myths involves him being a noble, or an ex-noble, unhappy with the treatment of the people by their fellow nobleman. This Robin Hood is the manifestation of that, being a well-meaning noble wanting to give back to the people through stealing from other nobles and distributing wealth.

Bond 3: While this Robin Hood is not specifically money, this case involves the redistribution is candy! Elizabeth Bathory, with her love of Halloween, refuses to let someone hoity toity mysterious nobleman hoard all of the candy for himself, and thus donned the classic Green of the specter Robin Hood!

May Princess EX: A unique take on the May King that Elizabeth associates with Robin Hood. However, this is mostly due to the cloak in question being enchanted by the very one in question, knowing that if she was going to go through with this, she would most definitely get hurt. Feeling responsible, he placed protection runes on it to make certain she wouldn't die.

Animal Communication A: Her dragon nature mixed with her current link to nature(not to mention her status as the May Princess) has given this Robin Hood the ability to communicate with animals.

Breath of the Nature Dragon D: An enhancement of her Breath of The Dragon E skill. This skill was tweaked when she adopted the persona of Robin Hood, making the mana more equivalent to that of a druid's than a supersonic blast of sound, restoring her allies to their normal state and debilitating the enemies somewhat with song.

The Legend of Robin Hood: A manifestation of the myriad legends of Robin hood gathered into one song, weaponizing all the concepts and beliefs that people have about the figure as an assault on the enemy. The poison comes from both the death that Robin Hood was believed to have and her own connection with "Robin Hood" and "A person who uses poison as a weapon of justice".

Bond 6: (Complete Elizabeth Hood and Her Merry Troupe)

While Elizabeth Bathory is one of the most infamous murderers in all of history, we can't forget that she has been summoned as a 14 year old girl. Hyped on imagination, silliness, ideals of the Robin Hood persona, and sugar, she's bound to be a bit more active than usual. Sometimes, even a princess can want to run around and frolic, to get a bit dirty, to be a kid. Let her play the roll, let her be a child. She doesn't have to be that evil vampire, the murderer, or the proper dragon idol all the time.

Bond 1: Remember! I am not Elizabeth Bathory, I'm Robin Hood! I'm not hiding it, but refer to me as Robin! Or Robinette since we already have a Robin... Wait, Robin is already a name that isn't feminine or masculine! Hmmm... AUGH! Lizzyhood! I'm Lizzyhood!

Bond 2: My thoughts on the common folk? I certainly treated them wrong... Well, it's in the past, right? Even if people remember me that way, I can't change their thoughts.

Bond 3: Hm? Does how people view me bother me? Of course not! I've abandoned such silly ideas, I'm Lizzyhood now! ...You like me though, right? I want you to like me at least, since you're my Master.

Bond 4: I learned everything I know about Robin Hooding from the real deal! His face was priceless when he saw me in this outfit, so funny! And he immediately got me into training with a bow too! Though... he didn't really look like he was having fun... I must've been a bad student? Ugh, why am I worrying about that!?

Bond 5: You said that Robin was just like that because he was worried, right? I'm... relieved. I don't want him to find me annoying, or bratty, or anything like that. I want to be his equal! I want him... to like me as a comrade and friend! Even though what I said should be true... I want people to like me, even now. But... because of my past... Eh? You-you're... my biggest fan? Even with... I... *sniff* You can't go making a hero of the people cry like that, Master...

Conversation 1: Deerlet/Puppy, what shall we do today? Shall we go out and help the people?

Conversation 2: Master and Servant? Someone like me doesn't need a Master! Can I call you backup for now? At least for a bit?

Conversation 3: I made this myself you know! What do you think? I'm pretty, right? Like a little forest princess!

Conversation 4: People are really calling me cute in this outfit... Ah, I'm too adorable, I can't stay hidden!

Conversation 5 (Robin Hood): Oh hey! My fellow protector of the common folk! Robin, I've been doing great, right? Are you proud? ...What was that about childhood flashbacks? What's with that grin!? This isn't a game to me, I'm serious!

Conversation 6 (Any Nero): My rival! Even moreso now that I am a hero of the commoners, she is the picture perfect image of a corrupt leader who wants nothing more than to waste her time doing nothing and stealing citizen's money! But she's still a friend so I'm not mad at her or anything.

Conversation 7 (Emiya): When I was talking about how I'm a hero of the people, that red guy got all nervous. Does he have issues with that phrase? ...I probably shouldn't ask.

Conversation 8 (Any demonic servant): U-um... I-I-I-I'm a hero against tyrants, not demons... No! I can do this! Anything to protect the people...!

Likes: I love the commoners, and protecting them against the evil and the corrupt! But, other than that, singing is still my favorite thing to do.

Dislikes: With this on, I like closed spaces even less. Give me a forest over an inn's room any day!

During an Event: Ooh! That looks fun! Um, Deerlet/Puppy, let's take a bit of a break! Even a Robin Hood needs to do a bit of R and R now and again!
