had a weird dream where I was Oliver Swift and I was live-streaming Minecraft with Randy and Foolish Gamers. We were all trying to beat this one weird parkour map from a mysterious past that had a functioning zipline that we needed to cross. So we crossed it. Then all of a sudden I see Karen Dunn and Burger Pants from undertale having a heated make out session and my last thoughts before I woke up were “you can’t do that, burger pants is a trans man” so I have a new headcannon.

What are you exact problems with the timeloop theory? I think I read earlier that you were against it?

Yeah, I'm not fond of it for a couple of reasons:

There's just not much evidence to support it at all. It feels like it's people trying to interpret "your choices don't matter" and "only one ending" into some kind of narrative that makes sense for them, when I think there's much more nuance involved in those two ideas, and much better options for what those could mean than "time is repeating."

We already have a story about these characters being trapped in a time loop. It's called Undertale. And in UT, even before you get to your first ending, there's plenty of hints towards saving and loading actions putting the characters into a recursive loop: Toriel comments that you look like you've seen a ghost if you kill her and then reset, Flowey will also immediately comment on this, Asgore acknowledges killing you multiple times, etc. There are no indicators in DR of the same happening...if you go save/load and do things differently, there is no commentary on it. Ralsei freaks out if you don't do things the way he believes they should go, but that is not indicative of a loop that has happened previously, just that he believes in a preset way things should be going.

The point of even having a time loop in a story is that you're supposed to break the time loop, and what I often see with this theory is that your actual takeaway is that you cannot do that because "your choices don't matter." The characters are doomed to never actually change or grow or solve their problems, and you were foolish to ever bother caring about them or this story. I find this idea repugnant.

I know this might seem rather silly or insincere coming from a person currently drawing an AU that's very dark, scary and has all these horror elements, but I actually want and expect Deltarune to be a much kinder game than I think a lot of folks predict it will be. I tend to distrust any theories that go into ideas like "the characters will die" or "everyone is doomed" or "change was actually impossible all along."

The mind control thing could've been cool if it was LITERALLY mind control not just "Garroth Ro'meave gets no bitches" syndrome. It would make more sense too with his character arc.

He finally gets comfortable in phoenix drop with showing his face and having this new big family with the guards and aphmau. He can finally be himself.

But then the pendants start acting up ; there's threats of war and Dante's being secretive. His paranoia starts acting up. But he's got his friends and he knows as long as he's with them, it's going to be ok.

During the baby shower he cools off but then he sees something. He chases after the evil undertale looking bitch but then he sees something. Saw something he wasn't supposed to see. That's all he can remember at least.

But as he's making his way back he keeps hearing things, seeing things. It's almost like he can feel something at the back of his mind, digging into his skull , eating at him.

Over the next few days his mind is hazy with thoughts of okh'assis, muddled memories and regrets. He can hear his brother in his head whispering about how foolish it was to hide away from them. He had no chance escaping his own blood. By the time he snaps out of it he noticed he's moved. Right to the edge of the walls with his communication amulet.

The haziness and whispers just keep getting worse and worse and so does his grip on reality. He can feel the chilly okh'assis air in the middle of summer. He keeps seeing things in the trees watching him. Cadenza tells him he looks paler than usual.Lillian arriving just makes it worse. Eventually he locks himself in his room saying not a word to anyone.

He can't eat, can't sleep , won't even close his eyes.Refusing to let them win. All he can do is listen; sounds of reality and delusion mixing into a buzzing living nightmare. All he wants to do is to help Phoenix drop. But when he looks in the mirror all he can see is the same pale , snowy haired boy who left Okh'assis. Maybe he never left?

GUYS! I had gotten my first Frans-hate comment a couple days ago!!

They literally just commented “🚩”

I mean, sure, we could’ve been besties in another time, another life, maybe another universe. But if I’m not your type of people then good for you, set your boundaries as one should (even tho they were the ones to engage) ✊😤

But don’t be a coward and delete it, just cuz I didn’t initially engage angrily or annoyed 💀…Of course, I still wouldn’t have said anything cuz it’s internet and as long as my private information is protected, we good 👌

And if it was just reported and it got deleted, then that’s fine, no one likes to see mean things on their favorite interests/hobbies. But I’ll honestly like to keep them up cuz I’m happy with my life 😄. Maybe they might grow up and realize that foolishness of this all in the future and deleted it themselves. However for the meantime, I’ll wear them like a badge of honor 🫡🏅

Undertale x Nezuko Male Reader

Chapter 2: Mama Toriel

After consoling the male, the goat lady introduced herself as Toriel. She said that she was the caretaker of the Ruins.

" Come! I will guide you to the catacombs."

Toriel then led the way towards a path. The male perked up and scrambled to stand up. He struggled to balance himself but was able to quickly adjust. He clumsily followed Toriel.

Seeing his soroundings, the male's eyes shine'd. He liked purple! It reminds him of ______!

Toriel walked further till they get to a double staircase that lead's towards a single door. Between the staircase were a bed of red leaves. What caught his attention however, was a glowing star-like object floating just in front of the red leaves. It seems like Toriel doesn't see it though.

The male looked at the glowing star curiously and touched it.

* ( The shadow of the Ruins looms above, filling you with love. )

The male blinked and retract his hand back. He looked up at Toriel and continue to follow her. The door lead them to another room.

" Welcome to your new home, innocent one. " Toriel said, smiling warmly.

" Allow me to educate you in the operation of the Ruins."

The male got excited hearing the word ' educate'. He loved learning new things! He remembered when _____ would teach him about medicine and healing. Oh! And ____ too! He taught him a technique about breathing to make his body stronger!

Flowers floated around the male as he smiled brightly. His imaginary tail wagging.

Toriel chuckled, feeling his bubbling excitement as she stepped onto four rocks pallets resulting for the door in front of them to open.

The male gasped! It was a puzzle! Oh! Oh! He adores puzzles!

The male hopped and clapped. Toriel laughed at the cute sight.

" The Ruins are full of puzzles that need to be solved to get though! Ancient fusions between diversions and door keys. One must solve them to move from room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them. "

Toriel explains.

Toriel proceeded on through, but the male stopping to read a note at the side of the door.

* Only the fearless may proceed.

* Brave ones, foolish ones.

* Both walk not the middle road.

At the sight of the word ' fearless ' , the male suddenly felt something itching in his heart.

The male blinked, shaking his head. He walked through the door seeing Toriel standing there and waiting patiently.

" To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches. Do not worry, I have labelled the ones that you need to flip. "

Both of them walked to a little bridge, that the male found adorable, and stopped.

" The first switch's on the wall."

The male nodded, looking at the switch attached to the wall with arrows drawn beside it. The male walked towards the wall and pulled the switch.

After pulling the switch, Toriel smiled and they crossed yet another mini bridge, which the male awe'd at again and pulled another switch.

The spikes leading to another room dropped as the switch was pulled.

"Splendid! I am proud of you, little one." Hearing this, the male puffed up his chest with pride, his eyes shining and imaginary tale wagging happily.

Toriel chuckled.

" Let us go to the next room."

They went to a room with a puppet and a doorway .

" As a human living in the underground, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation. However, worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT. While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation. Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict. Practice talking to the dummy."

Toriel stands to the doorway as the male approaches the dummy. He blinks.

"Hmmm... Ah!" The male tried to speak

* It doesn't seem much for a conversation.

The male blinked again. He then approaches the dummy closer. Toriel was looking at him, confused.

Then.... he hugged the dummy!

Toriel seems happy and proud with him.

" Ah, very good! You are very good."

Hearing this, he started jumping. He did very good!

* YOU WON! You earned 0 EXP and 0 gold.

He followed Toriel to another room.

" There is another puzzle in this room. I wonder if you can solve it?"

The male tilted his head. He followed her-

* Froggit attacks you!

Tha male blinked, startled.

He tried talking, but it was hard!

" hmm.. ah!"

* The froggit didn't understand what you want to say!

"!!!" He got an idea!

He slowly approaches the frog monster and hugged it! The froggit was startled!

He put the froggit down and smiled brightly at it.

" p.. pretty!" He exclaimed.

The froggit blushes.

* The froggit didn't understand what you said, but was flattered anyway.

Suddenly, Toriel came to view and glared at the froggit. The froggit sweats and slowly walked away. The male blinked.... weren't frog's supposed to hop? He tilted his head with a cute troubled expression.

* YOU WON! You earned 0 EXP and 0 gold.

Toriel stopped glaring as the froggit is out of sight and smiled gently at the male. She continues to guide him.

They came to a pretty dangerous puzzle. It was the same spikes that was blocking the path before, but the male doesn't see any switch... Oh! He saw the lighter colored path back to the other room! Maybe that's it! But even if it's not, he can smell which spiked tile is going down once stepped. It has a different scent due to its rust!

But still, he lat Toriel guide him in his way. Something about this is familiar to him ...

" I would like you to walk to the end of the room by yourself. Forgive me for this. " Toriel then walked away, leaving the male behind. The male blinked... He can still smell her...

... Blink

He walked through the long hallway, though he only walked through the lighter colored path. He came towards the end of the room, spotting a pillar ... He can smell Toriel behind it. He pretended not to know. He didn't want to hurt her feelings...

She walked out behind the pillar.

" Greetings, my child. Do not worry, I did not leave you. I was merely behind this pillar the whole time. Thank you for trusting me. However, there was an important reason for this exercise.... to test your independence. I must attend to some business, and you must stay alone for a while. Please remain here. It's dangerous to explore by yourself."

" I have an idea. I will give you a Cell phone. If you have a need for anything, just call. Be good, alright?"

The male took the Cell phone and nodded. Toriel smiled and walked away... Again... He smelled her less as she walked further. He stayed.

Each skeleton's reaction to his kid/niece/nephew walking up to him and holding their hand out. "Hi Dad/Uncle, let's shake hands" The skeleton notices that the kid has what seem to have a Laughing Box in the hand trick on their extended hand.

Undertale Sans - He's playing along. He's a terrible influence, self-aware of it, and will definitely encourage it. Sans will teach all he knows to his kid and then watch him spread chaos and evil pranks from a safe distance. All his friends and family are sweating.

Undertale Papyrus - He shakes hands innocently before his face turns into a betrayal expression. How dare his kid falls for such low-category japes like his brother's when he can work harder for the same result. Sans is having a cup of salt coffee when he's visiting a few hours later.

Underswap Sans - He had one too. Now that's awkward as they're both just staring at the other's Laughing Box in total silence. Tricky. Very tricky. Blue gives the kid a long stare that says this war is not over yet.

Underswap Papyrus - Aaaaw. His baby's first prank. He's all fluffy inside now, so proud. Honey plays along, a big smile on his face when the kids burst into delighted chuckles as they managed to "prank" their dad. He's so proud.

Underfell Sans - "yea, nice try bud, but am not stupid". The kid pouts, mad he found out his evil plan. They went back on the couch and sat on a whoopee cushion in an offended gasp as Red is making fun of them. You can't prank the prank master.

Underfell Papyrus - Edge said nothing, neutral, which made the kid a bit sad. Later that day, the kid sees his uncle searching for coffins. Confused, the kid asks what he's doing. Edge answers he's preparing a funeral for their sense of humor. Ah...

Horrortale Sans - He falls for it genuinely, then chuckles at the little joke. Nice one, kiddo. He ruffles the kid's hair and encourages them to try it on Willow as he will have a better reaction than he has. He then goes to sit on the couch to enjoy the show.

Horrortale Papyrus - He high pitch screams when he falls for the trick, then proceeds to stomp angrily, screaming his brother's name who can't stop laughing from the sofa. He then starts lecturing the kid to death to make sure they're bored enough to never do that again. Oak keeps crying with laughter on the couch while the kid is glaring daggers at him, mad he dragged them into this situation.

Swapfell Sans - He tssks. That's just humiliating. Him? Pranked by such a foolish jape? Like hell he is. As the kid leans his hand, he quickly grabs the other one to shake it, pats their head two times as a "Better luck next time" and leaves. The kid is so mad.

Swapfell Papyrus - He's a bit disappointed. He taught you better than that. See bigger! Laugh boxes are so predictable, you can do so much more better than that! That can't wait. He's kidnapping the kid in his room to teach them how to prank people better. He even let them try everything he just learned on Nox afterward.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He's not amused. He simply rolls his eyes lights at the child and keeps walking. The kid pouts. Uncle Wine is not funny. Welp, time to throw tomatoes on his beautiful just cleaned luxury car instead. Surely he will think it's a funny joke. His scream can be heard several miles around.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - The sound startles him and he instinctively teleports back into his room with the kid who is confused for a few seconds, then starts to cackle when they realize they just did that. Ha, ha. Very funny indeed. Coffee goes to sulk in his closet.

When you met the upper moon three At first. Akaza would be intrigued and interested by your abilities. He would even want to see it for himself if you have the chance to. But to you, you needed to impress the upper moon three in order to get him to trust you. You would blast a huge pathway to make such finest artwork. Though. Life's will be lose during the catastrophe. But your main focus is to win his heart.. And you succeeded. But due to his respect for women, he would likely scold you for killing a female. So you need to learn that males are your target.

He would even tag along with you and also tempted you to trick Doma with your abilities.

You and him will be chaotic. A mixture of your abilities and his destructive death could lead to many disasters.

When your naked. Akaza would be distracted by your assets. Sometimes that could be lead to him being overpowered by your sadism or either an ambush.

Even so. He will try and cover you up. Over times he will sneak into your bed when he's really feeling it.

"Become a demon, shall your power increases. You will be more than powerful.. But even more!~"

Doma:

When you met the upper moon two. At first. Doma would be flirty with ya, fooling you to come along and join him. Only until then will his foolish side show off when you teleport behind him and gave him a kick from behind. he would be confused and a bit surprised by such quick movements.. It wouldn't be a surprise if he would have fallen for you.~

Doma could use you as his side kick or his loyal advisory when it comes to battle. He wouldn't be as good as handling more than one person. Thats where you come along.

In your spare time. You would also tease the upper moon by destroying his beloved Ice clones and statues. Making sure that you can see and feel his emotions coming to play. A sadistic little pest you are.. But a lover in heart.

When your naked. Doma would no longer hesitate to pounce and thrust himself into you. He would make sure to do it quick before you blasted him. In the end. It was worth it.. Such perfect sacrificial you two will make. Such fulfilling icings the two of you will spill together.

"Blast me more with that envious bright light!~"

Kokushibo:

When you met the upper moon one. At first. Kokushibo would already be attacking you at a fast pace. Making him a tougher enemy. But once he gain the courage to rip you apart. Only then you decided to give him a bit of a lustful medicine. Ripping your own clothes off to distract the wandering samurai from landing the final blow. Kokushibo would stop in his tracks, gazing upon your body..

He would act different when he would see you again. Your body or assets might have changed him. Soon enough he would get to know you. Admiring your powers. Your courage.. Your laid back personality.. Your laziness.. Anything, but in his 6 eyes.

Your capable of doing tasks to win his love.. And eventually.. You and him will be under the moonlight.. Getting naked.. And doing the possibility of your pleasuring.

"I have never been touched by the way you felt my skin.. You are more than just a mere mortal with such incredible powers.. Let us dance under the moonlight.. For we shall cherish this moment together."

Most of the Tumblr fandom likes this guy but if you step outside this website then wham so many people say he got what he deserved as a kid and Batman can't be cool if he's a dad so it's important for Batman to trash-talk his dead child constantly so we can all agree what a bad idea it was. Also wanna highlight that a lot of the records we have from fans at the time were clear they disliked Robin for BEING a child. Like a lot of the little dude characters in this tournament are treated too harshly for making an ugly choice and the fans aren't being understanding or sympathetic that the choice is made by a child character who is immature and not developed and strong enough to make a good choice and stuff. But THIS little dude was specifically hated FOR being a child. People wanted tough loner guy Batman not Batdad and his little buddy. The first Robin would drive back from college and guest star sometimes and be advertised as the Teen Wonder and people were like yeah okay but then Batman actually starts being a single parent for a child with needs and people were like UGH not the BOY Wonder. Today pretty much everywhere you see Batman fans saying Batman is better solo, no kid, it's not realistic to have a kid, a kid shouldn't be in the movies blah. Even if the comics they always find a way to send away the new kid so that Batman never has to parent. So all the Robins are being excluded from the narrative but I think this one is THE symbol of Batman fans hating a child character just for being a child.

Robin, Jason Todd, THE hated child character. In the 1980s, Batman comics had become increasingly dark and gritty. According to editor O'Neil himself, the courted audience wasn't kids but 19-40 year old men with disposable income. Batman's child sidekick, Robin, was offensively campy and childish. Fans called him wimpy, annoying, dumb, bratty, etc. Also people complained that Batman acting like an affectionate dad was unmanly and gay. Robin acts violent and emotional and people are like "ew he's so childish and emotional"—and then Batman literally acts just as murderously and emotionally within literally the same exact story and people are like "wow he's so dark and tortured". So in 1988 (after brutalizing Batgirl to get rid of her for being too bright and nice and kid-friendly), DC held a paid poll for fans to vote for Robin to live or die. O'Neil claims he heard a fan (a grown man with a dayjob as a lawyer) programmed a phone to spam kill votes. One fanguy claimed that he sold his Mercedes to buy kill votes (probably an exaggeration but still). By less than 1% margin, the vote decided to kill Robin in a spectacularly violent way. Anyway the 1989 Batman movie brought in a huge wave of new child comicbook fans who liked the new Robin (a very cool teenage high school Robin with a driver's license and a girlfriend), and DC started a separate Robin-less Batman series called Legends of the Dark Knight to make the anti-Robin writers and fans happy. But to this day, many fans agree it was a good idea to kill off the other Robin so that his foolish death reminds other characters to never be childish and stupid again. Bonus: the current Robin (usually a traumatized 10-year-old) has also been facing some pretty loud hatred for over 15 years.
