So, my nephew loves pokemon, and I own WAY too much foam paper to not want to use it for things. So, I made this crazy piece for him a few years back. This is his favorite pokemon, so obviously a main focus.
This is how I made it. Figuring out the layers, and how it all was put together and how I should cut out the pieces in various colors.
I also have made various pokeballs, in the same method.
My Sister in Law loves the Frosty Vulpix, while since Red/Blue my brother has always loved Sandshrew. So, to round out the presents, even the parents got some. And they were all made into magnets... That I think too this day are on their fridge, give or take some that might have gotten lost.
Thought you guys might be interested on how i made the buttons for my Warden Ingo cosplay
They are made out of EVA foam, wich i heated up with a heatgun and them shaped with a round object. Afterwards i primed them with flexbond and painted them.
All the colors and tools i used can be seen on the picture
i’ve been scared to post my cosplay stuff on here and i’m currently not comfortable showing my face on tumblr buuuut… here’s my V cosplay i wore recently :)
sadly the visor died at the convention while i was wearing it (plus i couldn’t see shit and i am already super nearsighted so that wouldn’t be a good idea)
Don't get into cosplay or else you too will become a cautionary tale who has thoughts like "Well, I really like this piece of media and I even have a standout favorite character in it, but do I actually want to make that much fucking armor"
WIPs of the process of foam clay sculpting Miwaks skull hat, this time in mini! Still have to smooth some parts, but have to wait for my small sized dremal mandrel to arrive.
