Going into the tag every day for 3 years really does give insight on who's new to the fandom or even to Tumblr itself

-when you see ship art chances are people are actually shipping the characters and not the people the characters were very loosely based on

-don't use the real life names or real life last names of characters (for example Bing is canonically called Christopher Bingbong not Christopher Bingham)

-no you are not the only one who dislikes TomTord or hates TomTord or hates TomTord shippers if you sincerely believe you're unique in this aspect not only are you new to the fandom but I think you're new to shipping in general

-speaking of shipping if you're one of those people that say ships with tord is abusive I need you to watch gen 1 or 2 of Eddsworld. Hell I just need you to watch the classic episodes in general, Tord is just a guy

-discourse in this fandom gets regurgitated every 6 months. You'll often see posts about topics you saw before if you go into the tag enough, through osmosis you will learn about things such as TBATF or Dear Starboy
