OHMY GOD. NEW NESS LORE JUST DROPPED.

Okay, so we all know that Ness loves theories, small town conspiracies, old legends, right? And the Lock Ness monster is a CLASSIC, right? DO YOU HEAR WHAT IM GETTING AT?? CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW EXCITED NESS WOULD HAVE GOTTEN WHEN DISCOVERING THEORIES ABOUT THE LOCH NESS MONSTER AS A KID?? AND THAT HIS NAME NESS?? JUST LIKE THE MONSTER???

OHMY GKD.

Guys I can't, I know for a fact that he believes in the lock Ness monster and that its his favourite cryptid/legend, 100%, its just true, he told me, actually. Ness would dedicate his entire life to the Freddy's case and in discovering what happened (it's such a huge case the town he lives in, of course he's going to go physco about it) but I just know he's got a whole nother theory board about the Loch Ness monster and all the hoaxes about it, why this is true and that isn't. Maybe he goes on a trip to Scottland one winter to try and seek out Nessie himself (it set him back so far in going to collage, like seriously, Mike would have scolded him so hard if they knew each other then)

He's got multiple little charms off Nessie on his bag and kept safe in his room, posters and printed out news papers with headlines of it. At one point he almost convinced himself it was smart to buy an original copy of one of the newspapers shipped from Scottland that would have set him back on rent, he just barely didn't do it, too. But it was for the best, he brought back a boatload of newspapers, photos and memorabilia from his trip. Enough to where he had to wear his big snow jacket on to the plane so he could fit it all in his bag.

The reason why he knows so much about the evolution of early mammals (other than it being incredibly interesting, the fact we evolved from that is extremely fascinating to him) is because of the Lock Ness monster. He has diagrams of what it's skeltal structure is, or at least what he believes could be, he can't say that it is without solid evidence other than a hunch and years of research. He links its genealogy back to this and that, starts a whole new research paper on how the Scottish seas (where Nessie comes from) could open up a whole new gene pool of what Ness could be or could have evolved from and what could have evolved from Nessie. What if Nessie is the last of its kind and the rest of its genus evolved Into something further? Something smaller, bigger? Was it abandoned by its kind and left here while they went onto bigger bodies of water? It boggles his mind. Getting to the bottom of this his life mission (besides the Freddy's case and woo'ing the cute security gaurd into giving him his number)

I, have... so much planned. This has spurred on my Ness and overall securitywaiter brainrot by SO much, and I will infact be going ahead and adding this to my Nestortheory lore😔

so a few nights ago, i discovered that i’m actually highly allergic to borax when i broke out into hives all over my body in the middle of the night SO

after committing yet another atrocious crime against her will, Vanessa goes back to her apartment and cleans off the Vanny suit. except she’s still under the control of Glitchtrap at this time, so he’s maneuvering her like a puppet. so he goes to find the hydrogen peroxide to soak the blood-stained fur down, but can’t find any. in fact, a lot of the cleaning chemicals seem to be out.

useless shit, he thinks to himself.

finally, he finds a box of borax and settles for it. he may be a serial killer, but he won’t tolerate the smell of old blood. not after having to ferment in it for 30 years.

so, he cleans the suit in the bathtub because putting it in the washing machine will just turn the fur pink and he refuses to be a pink bunny.

anyway, Vanessa’s night shift arrives. she’s still reeling from killing another person, but is trying to stay in denial because denial is easier than acceptance with this sort of stuff.

and then her back starts to itch.

and then her arms.

and then her legs.

until it feels like she rolled around in a fire ant hill. when she goes to the bathroom and checks under her clothes, she finds that her skin is swollen with angry red hives. and they itch horribly.

she begins to panic. she’s never had an allergic reaction before and thinks she’s dying. she worries that she’ll go into anaphylaxis, and if she does, she’ll never get an epipen on time. she can’t even get out of the building for god’s sake!

what makes it worse, Glitchtrap and her get into an argument, which just adds degradation and a headache to the mix.

“what did you do?!”

what did I DO?! you’re the lazy bitch who didn’t get groceries! i had to resort to using the crap at the back of your laundry cabinet!

“i told you that i was going to go the next day! don’t call me lazy, you jerk! also what did you use?”

borax or some shit.

“borax? oh god. i think that’s it. i think i’m fucking allergic to borax!”

who the fuck is allergic to borax?

“me, apparently, you British prick! now look at me! i probably look like a dog with goddamn fleas! all because YOU couldn’t wait a little bit longer to clean the suit off! or, better yet: because YOU want to go out and hurt people!”

don’t give me that crap again, Vanessa. no matter how many times you try to reason with me, i tune you out every time you go on about morals. nobody wants to hear you talk, anyway, so it would best if you save your breath. and i wasn’t going to let that blood soak into the fur! it’ll start to reek and i’ve had to deal with the smell of rot enough!

“it would have been ONE DAY!”

don’t take that tone with me, little girl. i can mark your body with things worse than hives. do not test me.

Vanessa just isn’t having a good time. her body hurts and burns and itches, AND she has a serial killer griping at her. and y’all know she won’t go get help with her hives because she’s embarrassed so she just tries to power through them for the whole night until she can go home in the morning.

Idea 4: Vanny comes back

I'm gonna be honest, this one is my personal favorite, and I am quite surprised that it hasn't been done yet.* Think of the angst potential!

*This is no longer true

Imagine it's been a few weeks since the 3 star ending and the 3 goobers are getting more acclimated to living with each other. Gregory is getting used to the fact that he has 2 adult figures that actually care about him. Vanessa’s nightmares are starting to become less severe. Freddy’s head was reattached to his body, and he now remotely controls a child-size bear doll (like a Lonely Freddy but not evil) so he can still easily be with Gregory when he isn't at the pizzaplex.

The day would start like any other: everyone wakes up, goes through their morning routines, and eats some breakfast. Gregory finishes first and gets up to go and wash off his plate in the sink. That is when it happens, Vanessa starts to feel a little off, like she is moving slower than normal. At first, she brushes it off as her still waking up. Then she hears a voice… a voice she only hears in her worst nightmares… VANNYS voice. Vanessa would then discover that she could no longer move or speak. She could only watch as she felt herself get up from her chair, and pick up a knife from off of the counter. The reason that she still has any knives at all is for Gregory to use to spread various condiments on his school sandwiches when he makes them.

Meanwhile, Gregory and Freddy are near the sink, having a conversation about Freddy's obsession with dad jokes or something (You are the Morbest superstar!) They turn around, preparing to return to Gregory's room to get ready for school, and they see Vanessa, holding a knife. Gregory would feel a sharp twinge of betrayal before looking at Vanessa's face to see that her calm green eyes, ones that had reassured him after many a nightmare, were now glowing a sickly purple. Freddy and Gregory would realize that the person in front of them was no longer Vanessa, but Vanny.

Vanny raises her arm, Gregory is looking for a way out. He is also preparing for the possibility of being killed, and he doesn't want to give Vanny the satisfaction of being scared if that happens. Through all this, Vanessa is trying desperately to retake control, all the while Vanny mocks her efforts, making sure that Vanessa won't be able to mentally look away from her worst fear, the death of her savior by her own hands. Freddy is preparing to try and jump in front of Gregory at the last second to try and cushion the blow of the knife using his plush form.

Just before Vanny is able to deliver the killing blow, she disappears. No warning at all, like a true glitch, Freddy and Gregory watch as Vanessa's eyes flicker from purple back to green, drops the knife and collapses to the floor, hugs herself and sits in complete silence for a few seconds before bursting into hysterical tears.

That is where I will leave it, what happens next is for y'all to decide!

so like. fnaf movie. after night five, all outside observers know is "this 30yo guy with severe anger issues + his 10yo mentally ill sister just walked out of his collapsing workplace with an unconscious, stabbed police officer, saying that someone inside the building tried to kill them but we can't get into the building to check. we went to their house and the aunt who was fighting for custody of the child is dead on the floor. the guy's career counselor is missing, as is his babysitter and her family and apparently they're all dead in the building we can't get into." and like. that all looks suspicious as FUCK however we know that in the few-weeks timeskip both mike and abby seem happy and fine so it's not like mike was arrested or anything. he seems to be more adjusted and is happily talking with her teacher so i doubt he's under stress of interrogation or anything

there's a lot of implications there that mike mighta pulled something but it's all circumstantial evidence at best. i'm sure in jane's autopsy and crime scene evidence they couldn't find any evidence of mike being the one to attack her, esp since it was probably just golden freddy bopping her in the head so they dont even have the weapon, and if she was strangled they'd be able to tell it wasn't by bare hands and they couldnt get prints or anyth. especially if golden freddy is a FULL ghost and thus left no trail.

mike would be smart enough to only tell the cops what they need to know without mentioning ghosts to sound crazy. abby might be more honest with the cops just bc of #autism but they'd be more likely to consider her talking about ghosts and imaginary friends as a child's way of coping, and they cant get anything out of her that would incriminate mike. ADD TO THAT that mike has wounds that are clearly defensive and is SUPER banged up and his wounds would likely match his story way better than evidence of him attacking anyone, AND that there's likely footage and witnesses of him being in the pharmacy and then driving to work (and thus not in the area to attack jane), AND if/when nessie wakes up she'll probably vouch for mike as well, and the cops dont have anything on him

though i DO wonder if they would have records of vanessa patching him up in the police outpost. if they do, that would also back up mike's story as it's 1) far away from the aunt jane crime scene, 2) confirms that he and vanessa were working together, so either she's complicit in Crime™ or his story is accurate and she was helping him save his sister. him going to defend her instead of calling backup is also consistent with his personality of getting triggered and jumping into action around child abduction, esp w/ his sibling in danger

considering what abby would probably say, AND the history of freddy's, it's likely that they would come to the conclusion of is "someone [likely the og kidnapper from the 80s] found out that the guy working at freddy's had a sister, kidnapped abby from her house while her aunt was babysitting and tried to recreate the crimes, his story of him and vanessa defending her and escaping vaguely checks out." whether or not mike would incriminate vanessa by mentioning her dad was the killer is up in the air, and there's obviously some huge holes that are left from nobody believing that there are ghosts in the building but that would probably be the eventual conclusion

but throwing that all away, it would be really, REALLY funny if the rest of the town, being really fuckin nosy and getting into the juiciest gossip they've had in decades, took one look at michael "big teddy bear falling asleep on himself" schmidt and said "there's no way. there's no way this guy murdered his aunt, stabbed an officer and then destroyed his own workplace, especially when he really needed that job and was on sleeping medication," and then turned around to look at abby "neurodivergent in the early 2000s (ableist af time period)" "vocally hates her aunt" "doesn't talk to anyone and claims that she can see ghosts" "vaguely possessive of her brother" "claims that she found the guy who hurt her friends and got him jumped by a cupcake(?)" schmidt and said "oh my god. it was her."

and nobody's gonna directly say anything but they've got cautious eyes on the situation and someone quietly slips mike a copy of the bad seed to see if he has a realization but instead he's just like "hey this book kinda reminds of that golden freddy kid lmao. wonder how he's doin" and then we smashcut to golden freddy kid poking springtrap with a stick

Vanessa had been gritting her teeth for the past hour. You had invited her out to a bar along with a few of your friends, you were on the night shift for the entirety of the last week and you wanted to spend some time with her and your other friends. Vanessa was more than happy to agree, she hadn't been out in so long. The only problem she had with being out was her other self: Vanny. She was always so worried about the psychotic murderer making an appearance, but she took a deep breath and told herself nothing would happen tonight. Hopefully.

Watching you from across the room was painful as a couple guys had offered to buy you drinks, and of course you had agreed to one of them finally. Vanessa hadn't admitted it to you yet, but she had fell hard for you way back when you started working at Freddy's. The only thing holding her back was Vanny. You knew about her other personality of course, but she didn't want to put you through her problems. Her heart ached whenever she was near you and it was becoming increasingly harder to resist her own feelings.

Vanessa was indeed surprised that you wanted to get to know and understand Vanny, but she had been resistant to let you.

Vanny had fell for you hard, too. The crazed woman would do literally anything for you at this point. Vanessa knew Vanny would stalk you and ensure your safety if she let her, but she managed to hold Vanny back from becoming too obsessed.

The smile on your face as some alcohol-fuelled guy leaned against the bar next to you was clear, making Vanessa grip her drink harder.

"Hey pretty lady-" some guy decided to take a chance with Vanessa.

"Get lost," her voice was dark and loud, a lot more mean than she intended. She knew Vanny was trying to surface.

The guy scoffed before walking away.

Vanessa shook her head, quickly trying to get rid of Vanny's impending appearance. She felt her hands shake, slowly starting to lose control of herself.

When the random idiot placed a hand on your arm and handed you another drink, Vanessa froze. Her heartrate had picked up and her breathing was heavy.

Come on, Nessy.

The voice in her head teased. She shook her head again.

Y/N is ours.

The voice was angry. Vanessa could feel Vanny's possessiveness flow throughout her, she would be lying if she said she didn't want you to be hers too.

Mine. Yours. Ours.

She bit her lip hard, almost drawing blood. Vanessa muttered to herself, "Get rid of him," she couldn't quite believe her own words, she knew that she wouldn't be able to hold Vanny back for much longer. She would much rather have her other self deal with this anyways.

A glitched out laugh flooded her head before she snapped her eyes shut.

The blonde's hand gripped the glass harder before quickly downing the drink in one go.

Vanny grimaced at the taste, she would never know how her other self could drink something like this. She slammed the glass onto the table, a single crack forming up the side of it from the sheer force.

She stood up and started to make her way towards you. An annoying man had stopped her in her tracks and drunkenly asked her to come back to his place. If Vanny wasn't so focused on getting to you, that man would've died right on the spot. She instead gave him a harsh shove, causing him to fall into another man. Of course they were both drunk and started to brawl it out. Vanny smirked in response before focusing back on you.

"Sooo... Wanna get out of here, or-?"

Vanny grabbed the guy and pulled him away from you, her ears burned at the words she had just heard him utter to you.

"Oh! Hey, Nessy!" you smiled at her, you were concerned about why she was being handsy with the guy, "Nessy, this is-"

Vanny cut you off, "I don't care," a growl left her lips before she gripped the man's collar and dragged him away.

"H-Hey! Wait-!" you exclaimed, quickly following her. You were slightly taken aback by the way Vanessa spoke to you... Crowds of people slowed you down as you made your way through the bar.

The blonde had moved past the brawl she had previously caused, security were too busy focusing on them to even notice her forcefully dragging the man out of the back door.

"If you wanted a piece of me, you should've just asked," he smirked before winking at Vanny as they made it to the dark alleyway, "Maybe you're little friend will like to join us." He moved to pin Vanny to the dirty wall.

Vanny couldn't even believe the audacity of this guy. She shoved him away, his back hit the opposite wall hard.

"You really believe I'd want someone like you?" she said, a sinister look in her eyes, "Don't ever touch Y/N again," she warned.

He laughed in her face, "Oh really? And what are you gonna do about it? I think she realllllly likes me. Gonna take her back to my apartment whether you like it or not."

Without warning, Vanny reached down towards the floor and picked up an old discarded glass bottle. She smashed it against the wall next to the man's head, shattering it. She grabbed a single shard, blood flowing down her fingers - but of course she didn't care.

"Y-You aren't serious," the man stuttered in disbelief, "Get the fuck away from me you crazy-!"

A satisfied sigh left Vanny as she drove the glass shard deep into the man's stomach, he immediately tried to punch and kick her, "I love it when they struggle," she simply smiled at him, "Y/N is mine."

The man gasped under her grip, trying to push her away. Vanny wasn't about to let him leave as she twisted the glass, going as deep as she could.

"Vanessa!" a shocked gasp sounded from behind her.

Vanny forcefully withdrew the glass before throwing it into the nearby dumpster. She stepped away, the man crumpled to the floor grasping at his wound to stop the bleeding. Vanny was sometimes glad that her other self was a cop... It would be easy to cover this up. The force would believe her when she claimed it as self defence.

The amount of blood pooling on the floor was confirmation enough for Vanny that he would indeed die right here. She always made sure her victims were sure to pass.

Tears flooded into your eyes and you took a step back, "W-Why-?"

Vanny turned to you and wasted no time in walking over, her hand grabbed your jaw possessively, "You're mine," she didn't care that she was smearing blood across your chin.

You gulped, unsure as to whether or you not you should be scared, "V-Vanny?" you whispered, slowly realising that this wasn't Vanessa.

Without warning, Vanny lunged forward to capture your lips with hers in a bruising and needy kiss.

"Nobody gets to look at you like that again," Vanny warned, "I'd kill anyone for you, Y/N," her lips moved down to your neck, her teeth immediately piercing your skin to claim you, "Mine."

"V-Van-" your breathing picked up, fear and arousal were flooding through you. Vanny briefly stepped away to head back over to the unconscious body and shove it behind a bin to hide it.

"She loves you so much. So do I," Vanny confirmed as she looked back at you, "She's too scared to tell you. But I'm not."

Vanny grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the alley, the blood on her fingers was wet against yours, "What about-?" your eyes glanced over at the bin.

"Shhh..." Vanny hushed you, "Vanessa will deal with it later," she wasted no time in dragging you over to Vanessa's cop car at the back of the parking lot. She opened the back door and you hopped in without questioning what her motives were here.

"Vanny told me how you feel. I feel the same way," you smiled leaning down to give her a short but sweet kiss, "I want to show you how much I love you, Vanessa."

This definitely wasn't what Vanessa was expecting to wake up to... This was a huge shock. But she would definitely have to thank her other personality for this later.

She was at a loss for words, completely surprised that you had these feelings, especially after seeing you with that guy in the bar...

You muttered, "I would've never gone with him... It's always been you."

Finally, you removed Vanessa's clothes. Your jaw dropped upon seeing her body after waiting for so long.

"So beautiful, Nessy," you muttered, pressing soft kisses to her neck. Vanessa's arms came up to wrap around you, pulling you closer.

You wasted no time in gently rubbing your fingers up and down her folds, your own arousal was already starting to grow again as you felt how wet she was.

"Vanny was so good to me," you groaned, "But I want you more," you reassured her.

Vanessa whimpered at your words, her nails scraping down your back as your fingers finally grazed her clit. You searched her eyes, asking for permission as your fingers brushed her entrance. She nodded without hesitation, tensing once you inserted two fingers.

You and Vanessa laid there basking in each others presence, smiling into the small kisses you were exchanging.

Finally, you pulled away from each other to catch your breaths.

Vanessa cleared her throat, awkwardly, turning away from you, "That was... something," she bit her lip.

You laughed slightly, "Yeah..."

Vanessa's hand came up to rest on your jaw, her thumb rubbing your cheek, "I'm sorry I never told you how I felt, Y/N... I-I don't know what Vanny did but I can only apologise for whatever it was."

"It's fine. I'll tell you later," you weren't really prepared to talk about it just yet...

A smug smile appeared on her face, "You love me, hmm?" she teased.

"Oh shut up. You told me first- Well Vanny told me first... But still..."

She brought you down for a kiss, "She's right. I love you, Y/N. I was just so scared of getting you involved with Vanny."

"I'll manage," you tried to convince yourself, "I either have you both or neither. I want both of you Nessy. I love you both."

She nodded, tears filling her eyes at the thought of someone finally wanting to get to know her and accept her other self.

She really hated Vanny. She really did. But just for tonight, she loved her to bits.

anyway , I think I've made this comic lighter towards the end of this comic (both on purpose with the backgrounds and story lol) but this ending I hope is a combination of bittersweet and hopeful. Y/n gets to have a new family and connection to humanity that I think would be beneficial.

How they’d take finding out Y/n is a VAMPIRE is it’s own can of worms that you can decide for yourself how would go down. Best outcome is that Y/n continues to watch over the generations influenced by Vanessa and her family during their immortality.

Gregory and Cassie still haven’t been introduced in the Naff’s Cryptid Sightings universe by the time I post this, so if/when they are their characterization most likely will be different. And ggy likely won’t be placed in the au. Which is completely understandable! Tho an alternative path following canon fnaf more with 3 star fam, ggy n such is a concept I LOVE in the Cryptid Sightings world! I’ll go into it more ltr

Greg and Cass already have cryptid parents but now they get Uncle Eclipse and Uncle/Aunt/Pibling/Auncle/Etc Y/n. And Y/n gets to have one more purpose in protecting these ppl they will grow to care a lot about that knew Vanessa when Y/n couldn’t connect with her. Lots of sharing stories abt Vanessa occurs.

I’ll joke abt this in the extras & memes part but I think It would be so funny if Y/n can one moment be depressed and then Eclipse mentions Cass & Greg and they’re like “RIGHT I NEED TO PLAN HOW IM GONNA SPOIL THEM FOR THEIR BIRTHDAY” or “I LOST TO GREGORY LAST TIME IT WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN” or “I NEED TO CHECK UP ON THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY’RE ACTUALLY RESTING AFTER THEY FOUGHT THAT CRYPTID”

Eclipse is simultaneously grateful they have a new source of motivation, they haven’t seen you like this in a while, and he doesn’t dislike Gregory or Cassie. BUT since Cassie and Gregory are still Cryptid Hunters, it isn’t IDEAL lmao

On to elaborating on the comic: I love 3 star fam (by extension cassie) and Vanessa had growth offscreen so now her dying wish to y/n is like:

Nessie: hey. Make sure my kids (that aren't kids anymore) don't die ok cool cool

Sure Greg and Cass have Freddy and Roxy but between:

Demonic cryptids that have no experience being a human NOR a cryptid hunter human at that

Friend that might just be there still since if these cryptids could have humanity there's a chance my friend sending me memes that are so in character with their personality is ALSO still human despite being vampire and maybe ness & them could reconcile and Greg and Cass could finally meet the only person ness would have considered family and-

Nessie never would have considered y/n still having their humanity if it weren't for Freddy and by extension Roxy

And btw Ness would not have given her phone to y/n if she wasn't sure that y/n wouldn't hurt Greg and Cass.

She. Didn't expect y/n to go the extra mile and meet them in person. The phone would give y/n their contact information and all the photos of memories they missed out on

Y/n cries when they unlock ness's phone and Nessie still hadn't changed her password

The video she made that y/n sees at the end is when she was first entertaining the idea of y/n possibly still having their humanity, but still wasn’t sure. It was a video that she only ever planned on y/n seeing if she either died and/or she was sure y/n was still human in some regard. She wanted to leave y/n with something in that scenario.

Vanessa here meeting Vanessa in Cryptid Sightings and Lost episode canon would certainly be something. Vanessas from canon Cryptid Sightings would just. Not know how Vanessa got over it and neither does Ness here know

Also, there are some details for this canon divergence au that are completely settled to me and other details I don't have a solid idea for. Like, I'm not SET on how Nessie and Greg would meet, ness and Cass, if it would be at the same time, who would be doing the glitchtrapping. Prob becuz some of those are still unclear in canon canon FNAF and others I'm just indecisive

I'll leave it a little loose, up in the air

Also the possession being done by the same cryptid wouldn’t be possible with Cryptid sighting’s universe rules so. I’m not gonna bother figuring out those details for this comic.

But I do love the idea of Nessie growing closer to Greg and Cass and at least Ness and Greg sharing a bond over dealing with Glitchtrap

Speaking of glitchtrapped GGY in cryptid au-

The wizards FAVORITE now being in same universe as demonic cryptids that would absolutely want to slaughter Glitchtrap for possessing a KID? Making him kill multiple people, including a kid his age? Tasty. Scrumptious. I want to make a separate post just thinking Abt how canon crew for cryptid sightings might react to GGY, especially Cryptid Sun & Moon/Eclipse. I'll save most of that rambling for that potential post since there's so much angst potential.

While im here, I’ll ask. Naff, how would Eclipse react to a child, possessed by a demonic cryptid, having killed other children? Or. Is that a spoiler since these characters could be introduced in a reunion work and whether Cassie gets possessed to mirror canon fnaf is still up in the air? 👀

@/puhpandas can be blamed for my brain rot of the GGY story and dr rabbit stuffs and the potential it could bring.

Tho I don't expect to see GGY in any continuations of cryptid sightings lol I don't know how that would work when cryptid sightings already has laid down rules for possession in that universe and Glitchtrap is already gone. I'll happily see what Gregory and Freddy are like when they (hopefully) appear in future continuations of cryptid sightings

But since this is canon divergence I can indulge in three star fam real quick

To follow canon canon FNAF (or at least the fanon built off of the scrapped security breach canon as well as what stayed in sb), Vanessa would be saved by Gregory and Freddy, I'm undecided if Cassie would join in sooner or later. Nessie would regardless have to stomach being around kids that remind her of her trauma since she can't just fully IGNORE them. Gregory would have no one since I love the angst of the theory he killed his loving family as GGY

So. Nessie would probably know that and it would make the situation hard.

Vanessa would grow a bond with Gregory and Freddy at some point, Gregory has a head start due to. Y'know. Glitchtrap. Hard to not have some sort of connection to the kid that went through what you did too.

Anyway, Vanessa here would be saved by Gregory and Freddy to match up with canon. Or at least, the fanon I subscribe to for security breach since canon was lack luster and scrapped all the good ideas for Vanessa last minute.

Nessie and Gregory would have the shared experience of dealing with Glitchtrap trauma and Cassie gets roped, just like canon, with the whole Mimic situation. Then Nessie has two kids that she can't fully ignore but also can't stomach COMPLETELY being there for. Fun.

But since I adore 3 star fam too much, Vanessa is able to grow attached to Gregory like a big sister eventually (i adore big sis nessie dkljssfkld look at @/boringa55binch 's stuff you'll get ITTT)

When I'd imagine Cassie would be introduced, I bet Nessie would have a harder time with her around since what we've seen of Cassie in canon is only of her getting fooled. I bet Nessie would have a harder time around her for that reason.

But it's not like she COULD leave them completely alone since she's the one with the most cryptid hunting experience. And if these kids are SO INSISTENT about getting into trouble, fine. She owes them after all

I've been undecided if Cassie would be apart of the gang when Nessie is saved so that's up in the air for what ppls like most

Time skip is about 20-30 years ltr I've determined so, Ness did die when she was relatively young. (The circumstances of how she died are a plot device yes i will admit shush it isn’t terribly important sorry jklfdsjksfd)

I'm not the greatest at drawing aged characters so there you have it, Cassie and Gregory are in their late twenties early thirties.

Nessie knows it is a gamble to ask Y/n this favor. But, she's a worried big sis, being around Roxy and Freddy I bet would have softened her heart to the general idea of cryptids not being bad, and y/n doesn't seem to be bad atm. It could be a ghost that'll haunt watch over them, or Nessie's best friend can continue to be long distance buds with Nessie's new family.

And if Y/n was truly gone and all that remained was the vampire tendencies, by this point she has trust Gregory, Cassie, Freddy, and Roxy can keep each other safe. If it was truly a mistake to give y/n her trust.

So, that's why y/n hypes themself up and visits the graveyard when Gregory is there. And it did take a lot out of them but y'know I like the idea of y/n getting close with the gang.

It does make the next cryptid reunion a little weird.

Y/n & Eclipse: YOU DIDN'T MENTION VANESSA WAS A PART OF THE CREW NOW??

Freddy & Roxy: YOU NEVER TOLD US ABOUT VANESSA

Like, imagine both describing Vanessa in previous reunions, and NOW they're finding out it was the same person.

Vampire reveal set aside for later, this is y/n's newest reason to LIVE (mentioned earlier im gonna indulge on details down here)

They can't die yet! They still have memes to send to these kids! Jokes to tell! Series to make them binge with Y/n over a call! This is the gosh darn happiest Eclipse has seen them in decades!!

Flipping between seeing Gregory and Cassie as their nephew and niece and competing with Freddy and Roxy over the title of parent. Regardless of age. (they joke but Y/n never actually competes for the title, they are much too anxious of doing something wrong. Plus, Roxy and Freddy would be pretty tough to beat)

I also think it would be hilarious if Y/n sent out Eclipse with a chancla when Gregory does a Human Hero Complex goof up that painfully reminds y/n of their Human Hero Complex goof ups. He isn't allowed to make the same mistakes without consequence. And y/n WILL stay back in the bushes with goggles to SEE IT HAPPEN. Eclipse ain't worried abt y/n's mental state when they're too invested with their Nephew and Niece.

Gregory: We are adults.

Y/n: Yeah but you're also stupid humans who don't know when to quit.

Eclipse does get a chuckle they're now complaining so much abt human's having these stupid hero/martyr complexes when they were a human not so long ago themself lol

Cryptid Sightings doesn't have Cassie or Gregory in their cast of characters yet so (i think I mentioned this earlier but still), this could age. As of writing this, no reunion fic has been published. Might make a note of that if I release this after the fact. But still. Indulge with me in the hyjinks. I haven’t even begun on Freddy being a dad to y/n and possible Roxy dynamic with y/n lolll.

This au of an au of an au still has lots of angst to be explored like. Oh yeah, Gregory was controlled by Glitchtrap too and has a fuck ton of ptsd SINCE HE WAS TWELVE

Fun discussion for later at thanksgiving over zoom. One that Greg is just like: Can we get back to video games pls. now.

The bombshell that will be Y/n revealed to be a Vampire is still up in the air like I said earlier. But, y'know, it might go better this time.

Y/n hopes for that. Hopes. Funny, you haven't smiled this much in a while.

Vanessa's death hurts. Both of them were too young for their fates. It hurt especially when they were saying goodbye for the very last time. Nessie's death was coming and Y/n knew that, but at the same time. Y/n can focus on caring about people Nessie cared about. People Nessie trusted them to care for.

I like the idea of Y/n continuing to watch over and keep in contact with the people Nessie has impacted in some way. Nessie to Gregory and Cassie to whoever they inspire and have become their successors. And they got so much more they are looking forward to now. Knowing humans and sticking around them even digitally has its risks but I think it could be pretty grounding. They have even more dates to look forward to aside from halloween. Which, will be fun to celebrate with Gregory and Cassie fam.

They can't wait to do some more living.

WHAT IS MEMENTO MORI ABOUT?

Memento Mori goes into themes of neurodivergency, loneliness, and the intersection between them as a major thing and arguably the most important underlying plot line underneath your typical FNAF SB plot. At the very least it's important to me.

It takes place in the year 2031, with the PizzaPlex having opened in 2025, two years after a canon-divergent FFPS. It's connected to my currently very under construction humanized FNAF1-FFPS AU, All Those Nights.

It starts off when Vanna, a woman who is tired of being nobody and determined to be remembered, sets her sights on the PizzaPlex to try and cause some loud, flashy tragedy that will make her stick in people's memory. With the help of her girlfriend, Anne, who she's known since she was a child and reunited with as an adult, since Vanna faked her death in her teenage years. Anne has a hatred for people and a disillusionment with the world around her, but also holds a sense of morality she tries to bury.

Vanna could have had some morals, but thanks to her past with street violence, she is very desensitized to her own horrible actions and much more ready to go through with this. She has a playful, friendly demeanor that hides horrendous anger issues caused by emotional dysregulation, buried self-hatred, and a sort of spite towards a world where she never fit in.

So, the PizzaPlex.

Through the course of six months, Vanna and Anne hack the Glamrocks one by one, and kill several people to try and fulfill Vanna's goal.

The events of FNAF SB proper follow primarily Glam as the protagonist, with Vivianne as a sort of second POV, as they try to survive, figure out what's happening, and save everyone, while also trying to find Vivianne's sister, who got stuck here with her.

There's also some side plots! Such as...

-Gala, Monty and Roxy slowly coming to realize that what's going on here isn't what they're being led to believe, only to be fully stripped of their free will to ensure they stay in line, something that happened to Melody a while before the events of the plot.

-Sol's initial attempts to get back to safety when they know everything's dangerous, from which they shift focus upon running into Melody, realizing something's wrong, and trying to find a way to help him.

-Luna being a looming presence through most of these plot lines, being just... different. In reality, it's Vanna keeping things in check, while Luna's stuck in the back of his own body, spectating.

-And Vanna and Anne's attempts to get everything back on track as Vanna starts to lose her temper and speed towards her own doom.

WHAT IS SECURITY IS IN PLACE ABOUT?

So this AU started as a "yes, and..." bit with a mutual about a FNAF SB dating sim. It's not actually super romance focused but I'm telling you this because the way the story is set up and stuff like the theming surrounding this AU's Vanny makes more sense in that context.

So, the year is 2005, owing to the timeskip between FNAF1 and FNAF3 being cut some.

The PizzaPlex, opened in 2003, has moved on from the horrors of the past. Or most people think that, anyways. Raglan, a king of coping healthily with grief, pulled a small funny move, and designed nearly all the Glamrocks after people from the past.

Astrifer is designed after Henry Emily.

Noctifer is designed after William Afton.

Taiyo and Tsuki are designed after the Puppet, and, in turn, Charlie Emily.

Sally is designed after Susie Beck.

Rox is designed after the Mangle.

Stellifer is exempt from this and an outlier in that. He probably was just bought from a different location and redesigned a bit.

Most people don't notice, or don't care enough to think too hard about it.

Valentine Lovett, the now adult younger sister of Susie Beck, isn't most people.

Valentine is a very sweet and cheerful woman who keeps up such a sickeningly pretty, lovely appearance. In actuality, she is a very disturbed individual whose life was ruined by her sister's death, as her parents couldn't cope with it and traumatized her even further by projecting Susie on her.

Valentine is someone incredibly obsessive and who struggles to come to terms with reality, and she sees the Glamrocks as a revival of people who should have stayed dead. So she's decided she's gonna be the one to make them truly gone. She's also a terrifyingly skilled stalker.

The story is divided into several "routes", with highly differing story lines. However, each character has their route jointed with another, and while the character you pick will mostly be the focus, the events will follow a roughly similar progression for both of those characters.

So, routes:

NIGHT GUARD: Astrifer - Nessa (Hacked: Noctifer, Tsuki)

STAGE CREW: Noctifer - Stellifer (Hacked: The opposite of who you pick. If you pick Noctifer, Stellifer will get hacked, and viceversa)

KITCHEN: Sally - Rox (Hacked: Rox)

DAYCARE: Tsuki - Taiyo (Hacked: Tsuki)

HEARTBREAKER: Valentine (Hacked: Noctifer, Tsuki, Rox, Stellifer, Sally)

ABOUT THE HEARTBREAKER ROUTE...

It is possible to choose Valentine within the story of SiiP. A sort of New Game+ possibility where Bernadette has the chance to meet Valentine early and bond with her first.

This isn't an "I can fix her" story path, however, it's a "She will make you worse" one.

Bernadette is someone who would very much do anything for a person they care about. At the beginning here, when they heard of Valentine's motivations, they thought she had a bit of a point.

So, they decided to help her.

I typically dub this story path's Bernadette either Darling or Heartbreaker, and the story follows their plunge into a full-on corruption arc that lands them as a true, full villain by the end of it, perhaps to an even greater degree than Valentine.

They carefully work their way into ensuring they don't get attached to anyone other than Valentine, manipulate the characters they normally would have bonded with and make them believe they're their friend, ready, at any time needed, to betray each and every one of them for their own gain.

Darling started out not as certain of this, but slowly came to realize they enjoy the thrill of being in control, and started to become a cruel, malicious and silver-tongued person. They still love Valentine deeply, but it's hard for them to truly extend that care to anyone else.

They become the closest SiiP has to a Mimic variant, and this story path leads to SiiP's own version of Security Breach within lore, which would be a lot more focused on mind games and the fear of not knowing who or what you can trust.

There's a Ruin DLC side AU spanning off of it too, but that's in the works.
