“Ow, fuck,” you curse, your hand recoiling away from her. Fool you twice. She meeps mischeviously, darting off into the fenced-in brush. You go back to standing, rubbing your temples with the tips of your fingers. From inside, an open window speaks to you.

“Uh, you can’t pet ‘er on the wool, I don’t think,” calls Jason, your coworker.

“Yeah, yeah. Figured that out,” you huff.

“The skin is safe to touch, though. I tried it.”

You start shuffling over to the wall, leaning with your palms pressed against the windowsil. You give him a dubious look. “So, you saw me get shocked the first time too, then watched me do it again?”

He pouts. He finds it amusing, you think. “Well, you’ve got a call inside. On hold right now. I think it’s your roommate? She didn’t say much... just sent for ‘the rodner.’” His face cracks goofily when he says it. You hate it when she calls you The Rodner.

“Whadda you want me to tell her?” he asks.

I made a pokemon Contest/showcase oc ( Coordinator /Performer)

I have finished her pokemon and her appearance. I decided to show the pokemon and her on the internet (I hope is not too bad 🫠) ( I didn't talk much about her because she didn't have a backstory and a personality yet) (she don't even have a name lmao)

The First pokemon!

this is the first pokemon that she have.

is a female Lumineon called Lumi, Lumi is more shy and docile.Lumi has been with her coordinator partner for the longest time.

Lumi's moveset and ability

Lumi's ability is swift swim, it make lumi become very fast when it rains. her moveset are Hydro pump which lumi learn from a TM,Icy wind also learned from TM,Rain dance and confuse ray.

The second pokemon!

the coordinator got him when she was traveling in galar.

he is a male galarian rapidash, and his nickname is Prince.he is a big show off, but he has a big heart, and he loves his teammates and his coordinator very very much!

Prince's moveset and ability

Prince ability is pastel veil that he can prevent himself and his teammates from being poison.Also cures teammates of poisoning when it enters the battlefield.his moveset are Dazzling gleam,flare blitz,healing pulse and psycho cut.

The Third pokemon!

the coordinator meets flaaffy in a random forest.

is a male Flaaffy called cotton candy. He is very chill, but he sometimes just slack off. He also he loves to daydream and take naps everywhere.

his ability is static, which has a chance to make the opponent paralyzed when he gets hit, so no, you will not get paralyzed when you pet him.His moveset are electroweb, power gem, electro ball and thunder punch.

The fourth pokemon!

Meet her in the dark forest that said is haunted.

is a female chandelure that nickname flare, she is a cheerful and happy go lucky chandelure that love pranks, people are always surprised of her cheerful nature.

Flare's moveset and ability

her ability is Infiltrator which can make her ignore protections and stat boosts caused by the moves like substitute, reflect, light screen, and safeguard. her moveset are flamethrower that she learns from a TM, shadow ball, night shade and hyper beam that she also learned from a TM.

The fifth pokemon!

come from an egg the coordinator and her team cares for and protected from other predators.

is a male noibat that called buzz. he is still a baby, so sometimes he will have tentrums and like shiny things, doing pranks with flare, also he is very cute. (hehe)

his ability is frisk, which he can know the foe's held item.his moveset are acrobatics,wing attack, Draco meteor which he learn from a TM, and x-scissor, which he also learns from a TM.

The final and sixth pokemon

got her from a pokemon PC trade

is a female lurantis that nickname orchid .She is kind of standing off - ish at first, as she warms up to them.She starts to be the caretaker of her teammates, especially buzz the noibat. she is kinda introverted, so sometimes she just wants some time alone.

Orchid's moveset and ability

her ability is leaf guard, which prevents her from being afflicted by status conditions during strong sunlight.Her moveset are petal blizzard,sweet scent, magical leaf, and giga drain.

No, that's just a random chimera design i mocked up for that drawing ^^

The Talking Chimera (calling them Steph) was also a character I totally made on the spot while writing =w=; Not based on any background chimera designs I've made beforehand. I just thought that they'd be a neat addition to the chapter as a bit of lead up for exactly whats going on for Ingo to chew on before he finds Agee ^w^

Honestly did not expect Steph to have that much of an impact but here we are =w=

OK, now that my manager is satisfied with the draft, I can work on the actual post! I'm Nick Docomo (he/him), age 19.

I'm the designated account manager for Mauville Fix Shop's Tumblr blog since I'm already on here... a little bit much. Moving along, I also work on old-model Pokénav repairs part-time. Primarily, though, I'm a student at Mauville Technical College majoring in electrical engineering!

To top off my resume, I'm training to be the next Mauville gym leader under Swell Shock Wattson (look, he set that as his Trainer's Eyes title and I've gotta roll with it). My team right now is:

Day (♂) the Heliolisk: My starter and current strongest team member, Day is an incredible attacker when the sun's up! Very friendly out of battle, too.

Bhaskara the Heat Rotom: It would watch the world burn just out of curiosity of what happens after. I respect its commitment to science regardless. After being given a smart oven from Wattson (who incorrectly predicted it would talk), Wattson gifted it to me.

Amp (♀) the Raichu: I caught her as a Pikachu 2 years ago on a field trip to the Safari Zone. She's a crafty little Pokémon, which is sometimes good for me but not when she pranks me, the team, or anyone else really.

Ohm (♀) the Flaaffy: An old man working at the Day Care on Route 117 just gave me an egg 4 years ago and Ohm was the Mareep that ended up hatching. She's on the sterner side of things, but not hostile.

Jet (♀) the Fletchling: I noticed that as a Fire type specialist I have a lot of Electric types so I searched for a member of the Fletchling to tip the scales back to Fire. I caught Jet very recently, but her battle-hunger’s already on full display, especially when she wants to battle Day.

Other facts about me:

I'm 5'8", have black hair and brown eyes, and slightly tan skin.

I'm nearsighted as the planet is large. I don't like it, but it's not too bad when I have my glasses.

I got a little carried away with this ask and made two teams!! x3 one for autumn / farm kinda feel and the other for winter / Christmas kinda feel!!

Miltank - moo moo cow :3

Gogoat - big cute goat <3 also along with miltank goes with the whole farm animal vibe and also can both make milk / cheese products!

Pumpkaboo - self explanatory! perfect autumn Halloweenie pokemon :D

Appletun - apple pie cutie pie <3

Flaaffy - sheepy and so pink! Farm vibes and also fluffy to stay warm in the cold!

Rotom (heat forme) - they like to cook stuff! Like sweets n autumn treats, and are very warm like a fireplace :D

Sawsbuck - seasonal frosty forest fellow, of course I added them!

Stoutland - warm and big and soft and kind, saves people from the cold of snow so would be such a good friend <3

Delibird - easy choice but totally fits :3

Chingling - bells are such a winter instrument! Just very cute and a unique choice for the season I feel :D

Carkol - one of my top fave Pokémon I don’t talk about enough ;.; a warm fireplace baby!! So cute n warm n precious!!

Galarian Darmanitan - snowy jolly fellow!! And also I put the zen mode cause I like how they got a snowman kinda look it’s cute :3

Starly/Staravia/Staraptor - First Pokémon - @dulcito-on-ao3 suggested Normal/Flying types and I agree they fit. Especially that Flying-Types match with her Wind Magic.

Jigglypuff - according to @logo-comics, Sienna deserves this cute Pokémon.

Honehege - because he is a sword fighting teacher

Absol - @thecagedsong suggested this based on @dulcito-on-ao3‘s idea of him having really bad luck of accidentally drawing the jealous attention of powerful men.

Escavalier - because he was part of a knight order. @dulcito-on-ao3‘s suggestion. Any other knight-themed Pokémon could also work.

Marrill - First Pokémon - I headcanon Marsha as a Water Mage so a cute Water-Type fits her.

Raticate - First Pokémon - he caught it when he was younger, since he grew up on a farm without much to his family's name and Rattata is a very common Pokemon. @logo-comics suggestion.

Boring farm Pokémon like Flaaffy or Wooloo. @thecagedsong suggestion.

Jirachi - everyone gives him credit and acclaim for the Jirachi, (kinda of like how, amazing, he's so strong and talented in magic) but really Jirachi just likes his Raticate and lets Cyrus be his trainer to stay close to his crush. It good for reflecting how Cyrus really doesn't fit in with noble society, despite holding high prominence in it. @thecagedsong suggestion.

Dewey Percy

Lopunny -  it matches his nature as a Tsundere and would be funny to see in general. @logo-comics suggestion.

Guy “Laura” Handerson

Bellossom - it’s what they deserve. @logo-comics suggestion.

Nathan Hart

Abra -  "it will be able to teleport him back town after he gets lost" they thought. Except he got the one Abra who gets as lost as he does. Occasionally his Abra comes out of his pokeball and will teleport Nathan. There is nothing anyone can do. The bonds of pokemon are sacred. Nathan never talks about where his Abra takes him. @thecagedsong suggestion.

Nix Cornish

Quaquaval - I feel that this Pokémon fits his flamboyant attitude.

Dartrix - this Pokémon is described as narcissistic which also describes Nix.

Lisa Norman

Zigzagoon - a reference to her racoon puppet which is now a Zigzagoon puppet. She does the ventriloquist thing with both the Pokémon and the puppet.

Caesar Dahl

Ursaring - His only Pokémon - Caught as a Teddiursa during his days as a mercenary with the one pokeball he got as a gift from the royal side of his family. Something powerful and wild, not something he can show easily to a crowd, just like he feels like his true self needs to be muted in order to help his half brother as a noble. The golden ring on Ursaring fits his golden eyes. @thecagedsong suggestion

Marquis Edmund Randall

Hypno - I can just see him using this Pokémon to try to brainwash his children into obedience. It does not work because their own Psychic-Types protect them.

Lord Coleman (Keith’s biological father)

Some Ground and Rock-Types. He only sees Pokémon as useful for his status. He does not mistreat them but doesn’t see them as friends.

Thomas Coleman

Tried showing off by buying rare Pokémon; he doesn’t bother to train them, always relying on items; he abuses his Pokémon, meaning theya re not loyal to him.

Mary’s sisters

A mix of cute and pretty Pokémon, mostly grass-types but any adorable, not-always fully evolved Pokémon works. They are more interested in contests and showcases than battles. I suddenly have this idea of these three putting on shows like Misty’s sisters.

Mothim, Beautifly, and Vivilillion - less powerful but matching and beautiful butterfly Pokémon. Strong against Mary's grass-types and purposefully excluding her. @thecagedsong suggestion.

Well, see, I had a talk about this with a friend but the team of Pokémon was supposed to be Priscilla the Purugly, Luna the Flaaffy, Pebble the Mudsdale, Derby the Swablu, Komi the Hisuian Growlithe, and like all the games we get to have one legendary, Astra the Latias.

They all have their own personalities and backgrounds, not too fleshed out but enough to get the point across. How I wanted Chain to meet this specific reader is that Wild tried hopping onto the largest horse they've seen since the Ganon horse to tame it. But Pebble just... looked back at Wild, who was expecting way more resistance then this, and simply lied down on the ground to politely say "I do not want to move, please get off me." And Wild is just confused but slides off the giant horse and is now met with the curious gaze of Luna and Komi. As for the power team members? They're with Reader, trying to find out where the hell they were cuz it definitely wasn't home.

I also have some stuff about tossing guide!player in but that's for later.

As a thank you for the 1000 followers, I thought it might be fun to do a Choose Your Own Adventure fic. I've got a starting prompt linked above, and each part will be followed by a poll where you, the audience, will pick what happens next. Invite Arven on a tera raid as a potential method to find more herba mystica

As Arven is explaining himself, he starts packing. In no time, the table and lamp are stowed away in his massive backpack. It’s evident from the casual speed with which he moves that he’s well used to his equipment and traveling with it. He'll be out and gone in two shakes of a flaaffy’s tail. 

“Actually,” You start. Arven pauses and looks up at you, blowing a tuft of hair from his face. It falls right back to where it sat before. “If it’s herba mystica you’re after, your best bet might be tera raids. We haven’t had sightings of any herbs in the caves through here, but… Well, some trainers that come through talk about finding interesting plants after they’ve beaten extra strong terastalized pokemon…” You pull your rotom phone from one of the many pockets you have in your uniform and do a quick search.

“Oh, that’s… I dunno…” Arven starts.

“Looks like we got a formation coming up along the border with Glaseado Mountain!” You interrupt him. “Lucky, right?”

“Yeah…” He sounds less than sure of himself. “I’m, uh…not really much of a battler.”

“What?” You scoff, almost teasingly. “That’s not the Arven I remember. Weren’t you in the School Battle Brawls? You were, like, a founding participant if I remember right.”

From his place kneeling on the ground where he’d paused from packing, Arven covers the lower half of his face with a palm and looks away. He speaks softly; not in the gruff, nearly abrasive manner you remember from your teenage years.

“Well, yeah… Never won though…”

“Duh!” You respond immediately, and Arven turns to glare at you, still clearly embarrassed. You catch yourself quickly and squat down to his level, passing him an errant berry that must’ve fallen from his pack. “That tournament was filled with champion level students, elite-four members, the literal champion herself, and retired gym leaders. It’s…not surprising you didn't win? The fact that you entered at all and held your own is still pretty cool if you ask me.”

“I guess…”Arven takes the snack from your hands, and you feel his thumb brush against your palm before he retracts. 

“I was always too much of a scaredy-skitty to even try, you know?” You confide. “But look at me now. I do actual rescues with my partners! I can only imagine how much stronger you and your Mabosstiff must be after all this time.”

Arven quirks a brow, restrains a scoff. “Your Mareep does rescues?”

He remembers your pokemon? A laugh bubbles up from your throat. 

“Ampharos now, but yes! Having light is important at night or in caves. Also, docile, fluffy pokemon help calm lost, panicked individuals.”

He huffs. “I guess. Still. I wouldn’t really call myself a battler.”

You stand and stretch, your back and shoulders cracking. “I would! From what I remember? You kicked ass, man! Sounds like maybe you’ve just lost some of your confidence in battle.” A pause. “Not… I mean… Not that I can speak for your life or something, but… I could go with you?”

Is this weird? Should you be making this kind of effort? Especially when he’s technically trespassing? You weren’t particularly close in school. The guy didn’t show up to classes often, so you didn’t see him much. Sure, he was cute then…and he’s gorgeous now, but…

"Agh, sorry." You quickly concede. "I shouldn’t try to push you into a raid or battling. I just…um…" A nervous chuckle. "I admired how strong you became towards the end of our academy days… It seemed like you blossomed or something, I dunno."

Arven stares at you blankly from where he's still kneeled down, having paused from packing his bag.

"Ah, sorry, definitely weird to say." You feel a prickle of heat blossoming on your cheeks. "Listen. Let me just make sure you get outta here safe and sound, then we can forget this happened, okay?"

Arven is silent a moment, and you swear you've made this awkward beyond repair.

"...Where did you say the raid was?"

You can’t help the small smile that breaks across your face. "Just over by Glaseado Mountain. The scanners say it's a…" You check your phone again. "Ghost type."

"...Mabosstiff would do well." Arven seems to softly reason to himself, then a bit more loudly. "Alright. Let's do this."

In very little time, the pair of you make your way to the raid’s sparkling, jagged entrance. Arven frets a bit when no other trainers arrive, so you agree to each use two pokemon. He chooses Mabosstiff, of course, and Scovillain, as it's his one other partner with a ghost-type advantage move. You use Ampharos and Azumarill as support for him against what ends up being a ghost tera-type Blissey.

"It's…been a while." Arven mumbles as you make your way to the cave’s center.

"No big deal.” You reason. “Worst comes to worst, we heal up our pokemon and run. Anyway, I'm sure your pokemon will be happy for a chance to do their thing again!"

Arven hums. "Their 'thing' has been naps in sun beams, trying out new menu items, and getting treats from customers. It's been a while since we even thought about fighting anywhere near the level we used to…"

"Listen, I'm not judging. Let's just do our best. Like I said, if anything goes awry, we run. If not, we might get you those herbs!"

Arven gives a half smile. "Thanks. You really didn't have to do this, you know."

You grin right back, exaggeratedly gesturing to your uniform. "If it keeps you out of a prohibited area, then I kiiiinda have to? It's in the job description. Nearly positive." 

He laughs. "Yeah, no rock slide risks, but tera raids are fine.”

“Occupational hazard.” You shrug, approaching the crystalline pokemon. “We can’t keep trainers from battles, but we can steer them from some bad terrain.”

Arven sighs, the joke over, as he thumbs the button of Mabosstiff’s pokeball. “Alright… Let's see how this goes."

Scenario continuation with dialogue- "Anyone would be scarred by a life like mine... former life." The Delcatty said. "That... or driven mad by it."

Soon enough... Dusknoir ended up pulling them into the portal, the little ones having been left in the present. They had been put into a cell, everything seeming... unnaturally still.

Blaise was huddled up in one of the corners, refusing to look or talk to anyone. "Pops..."

"I knew I was right to not trust him," White Hank growled. "I said that he couldn't be trusted, but did you two idiots listen? Did anyone listen? No." She snarled as she tried to break the bars. "You two could've fucking listened to me, but you decided to be fucking stupid, and think he might be a good guy!"

...Sebastian whimpered a little bit, looking immensely hurt by what she had said. The Flaaffy started to whimper as he teared up, before he began to bawl at the top of his lungs. White Hank froze when she heard that.

"I-- Sebastian--" White Hank started.

"Don't." Blaise said, his voice just... full of exhaustion. "You're right. You were right the whole time. Just. Don't."

ainana but i assign them pokemon teams ft. the fuckton of hcs that have somehow found their way into this mess

i believe in absol service pokemon propaganda. anyways riku doesn’t really believe in having a balanced team, he just loves his pokemon!! he and tenn both had eevees growing up, and his evolves into a vaporeon. he caught absol after they started just kinda sticking around, and it took a bit for him to realise that absol followed him around because they were worried about his asthma and knew how to indicate when he was about to have an attack. he found a larvesta who liked to hang around in the hood of his jacket and, after evolving, it would grab the back of his clothes so from a certain angle it almost looks like he has a weird backpack with wings. gligar he caught naturally, and while it took a bit, gligar warmed up to him a bunch and evolved into gliscore. he actually found his vivillon and floette at the same time, because they were friends even before he caught them.

yeahhh izumi “i need a balanced team and i definitely don’t have a bias toward steel/psychic types” iori. he does the thing i do where i have to have one fire/water/grass type per team. piplup was his starter, and he caught a shroomish shortly after, so those are really his aces. he’s got chansey bc he likes supporting his teammates and pokemon, and noctowl because i cannot explain it but they have the same vibes. darmanitan and metagross bc, although he will deny it, he likes steel and psychic types a lot.

ok so this accidentally gained lore so uh. won’t get too much into it past their teams. anyways mitsuki caught a gastly, found out that fossils existed, and then braintunneled. he didn’t realise there was anyone actually working on reviving fossil pokemon for a bit so his team was just haunter until they found the guy and mitsuki’s little collection suddenly came to life. he was fully planning on one-tricking gengar, but suddenly had a full team of baby Senior Pokecitizens (+gengar) and he couldn’t be happier

nagi’s team was originally just lapras and froslass, until he realised that regional variants existed. he got super excited and suddenly those were the only other pokemon on his team. he brought his lapras and froslass from a different region, only nagi actually speaks the language, so lapras and froslass are just,, constantly confused by his human partners whenever they try and talk to the two.

yamato considers his starter palpitoad, they are besties. she caught phanpy and alolan cubone on the same route, after phanpy forced itself into one of her pokeballs while cubone distracted her so. needless to say they are partners in crime. she caught kricketot next. around this time a bit after palpitoad managed to express to yamato that they don’t want to evolve further, so nagi lent her an everstone that he didn’t plan to use. next she caught nuzleaf, then flaaffy, then boom!! she had a full team. kricketune is the alarm clock of the group.

watching sougo battle is super funny because he walks around with this delcatty (formerly skitty) and his go-to pokemon is always mawile so everyone sees him and is like. oh he just likes cute pokemon! and then he pulls out a fucking salamence and everyone starts sweating. anyways he thinks his team is adorable. good for him good for him. skitty was his starter, and he shortly after setting out found a chikorita. he then found mawile, then an egg that hatched into toxel, then boldore, then shelgon.

tamaki’s starter was espurr and. she’s a bit of an ass to other people, but is also one of the best gauges tamaki has for other people’s emotions because psychic type. the first pokemon he caught was shellos because that was aya’s favourite pokemon, and he wants to give her one when he finds her again. he then caught a milcery (he nearly started crying because he thought it was so cute). he also caught applin and gible pretty early in his journey. wooper is actually his newest pokemon because after a conversation with tenn, tenn gave him an egg to take care of.

the eevee that teen had growing up evolved into sylveon, and he considers them his starter. he believes in having a balanced team, but doesn’t put it into practice. he got a type:null from kujou, and they didn’t get along for a while, but slowly found common ground and are now fiercely protective. he caught a feebas fishing, and a vibrava that had accidentally burrowed under trigger’s camp one night. he found mimikyu a bit later, and snom was the last pokemon he added to his team.

riolu was his starter, and is now his ace. minccino started following him around relatively early into his journey, so he decided fuck it and picked them up to carry around with him. he found a wimpod trying to run away from a psyduck, and just went ahead and caught both. in a cave he caught a noibat, and a few days later found a swadloon. his lucario is definitely the peacemaker of the team, since his pokemon can get a bit rowdy, even if they mean well.

hehe the guy. his starter is emolga, who has a wonderful habit of befriending random wild pokemon, which is how he caught half of his team lmao. he first caught chinchou fishing with tenn. emolga then befriended a pumpkaboo that he was happy to catch, then befriended an onyx which scared the shit out of all of them. emolga then led a togetic back to him, and he had to sit them down and seriously explain that he loved them but this was an intervention. he got a dratini egg from his family relatively late into his journey.
