Pictures from the classroom I teach in! These samples are stored there, but I don’t use them unfortunately. They’re so very cool. I wish I could do more paleontology, but alas. We can’t do it all. I stayed up very late last night and then got us very early this morning to have a thesis proposal draft ready. I definitely need to work on my time management. It’s been not fun.

what happens when each time someone asks y/n out the next day they suddenly take it back? unknown to y/n the culprits for the reason that’s been happening are some very close friends who may have a big crush on them..

“ who do you think you are asking to court our dear y/n !? ”

“ hey sebek calm down bro.” ace placed his hands on his hips before eyeing the ‘guy’ who had asked you out earlier. definitely not as pleased this time as the one boy who had asked you out last week.

sebek frowned and just let out a small ‘hmph’ before stepping back from the shaking boy who was trembling at the presence of the five freshman who had suddenly trapped him a janitors closet and closed him in a corner.

“ w-what do you want!?” the frighten boy yelled at the five before epel took a few steps forward, standing right before the boy.

“ YOU WILL NOT GO OUT WITH Y/N YA HEARIN ME? ”

and just like that the boys left the janitors closet like any other time they had done the same way. and from the side lines they watch again as the boy who had asked you out yelled out that he doesn’t want to anymore.

you were always a little bummed out when it happened, did they just randomly dislike you out of nowhere for them to take back their words?

even still, your group of friends always seemed to be there for you as if they knew it was going to happen.. the first couple of times? there was a pass but it became a little too weird to see ace walking down the hallway with his arms out ready to give you a hug with the other group of first years trailing behind him.

so you decided to check out what was really the deal.

as you made your way down the hallway, you were pretty much hoping someone would come to you and ask you out; even it sounded bad, you wanted to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.

you started losing hope as you were reaching your next class. it was expected since people knew you as the person who’d always get asked out but whoever did always took it back a moment later. but then —

“ u-uhm.. y/n?”

bingo. you turned around and saw a fellow classmate who seemed to belong from ignihyde right before you. they shyly fiddled with the hem of their uniform trying to make out of the words they wanted to say.

“ i-i wanted to k-know if you’d like t-to hang out at the a-arcade this weekend..” the boy didn’t make eye contact with you but a visible red blush was noticeable in his face.

“ of course! we can talk about the details later, let’s get to class shall we?”

“ a-alright! just let me h-head back to home-room to grab my stuff..” the boy bowed a bit before quickly heading back to the classroom a little more cheerfully from before they had asked you the question.

“ the next part is up to grim now..”

unknown to your fellow first year friends, grim and you decided on a small deal . in exchange for him to do.. a little researching on why this phenomenon has been occurring. of course the compensation being tons of cans of tuna. but who can blame the small cat monster?

grim was making his way through nrc’s vents with a little frown on his face. every two seconds he always found the need to sneeze due to the dust that had been accumulating in the vents.

“ hmphh, remember.. it’s all for the tuna..” the small monster had muttered before finally hearing the voices of his fellow friends. grim traced back to where the sound seemed to be coming from.

and from above, he was met by his first year friends and the guy who had just asked you out.

“ u-uhm excuse me.. i n-need to go-”

jack was standing near the door blocking the ignihyde students path.

“ just how many more of them are going to ask y/n out..” deuce let out a small sigh before placing his gaze back on the boy. epel and ace just seemed to be glaring intensely at the rather timid boy who stood before them.

grim just watched from above as his friends all began scaring the ignihyde boy from earlier.

‘ so THEY’RE the reason my henchman my henchmen doesn’t go out..’ grim thought silently, a small smile appeared on his face because now that he has what he was looking for, he’ll get his tuna back at the dorm.

he started rubbing his paws together in glee as he could already imagine himself savoring the tuna. but soon grim felt the sudden urge to sneeze bad — he had forgotten that he was in the vents. the same sole ones which crowley probably hasn’t paid for them to get checked.

the cat just really couldn’t hold it in any longer.

“ aaa… aaa- ACHOOOO!”

and from the vent he fell.

landing on top of sebek, his land didn’t hurt as bad. but as for the green hair first year, he probably would start developing back problems at an early age.. since not only was he hit from grim’s weight. the metal vent that fell from above also seemed to hit him a little too hard.

“ grim?” deuce questioned, but before anyone else could add in. grim slowly and steadily stood up. “ AHAH.. I catched you guys in the act! just wait until y/n hears why no one wants to go out with her.. tuna, here I come!”

“ e-eh!?” both ace and epel shouted in horror as they saw their little cat friend make their way through the door and run through the hall. “ jack you were suppose to block the way!” deuce said as he ran out of the classroom rapidly as he trailed behind grim trying to get you before grim could.

not even a little after both ace and epel ran out behind deuce, having the same motive.

get to you before grim did.

the bell had rang once again signaling it was lunch hour so you grabbed your bags and left the room, but you didn’t fail to hear the yells of a couple of people..

you turned around and suddenly grim jumped on you and clinging onto your uniform for dear life with his claws.

“ Y/N THESE MANICS ARE CRAZY. THEY’RE TRYING TO TURN ME INTO CAT JERKY.” grim hissed and watched along with you as your first year friends gasped for air as they stopped before you.

“ plus! they’re the reason the guys who ask you out always take it back! they’re crazy, crazy for you I say!” grim yelled making the first years jaw drop and their faces turning into a light shade of pink. compared to deuce who’s face was almost as red as riddles hair who almost seemed he was about to pass out from embarrassment.

the first years stood in a line closely as they suddenly saw you take a few steps forward and they closed their eyes right expecting a rightful slap in the face as punishment.

“ well if you guys liked me that badly.. why not just ask me out instead of scaring off anyone else who tried to..?” you questioned, setting grim down you tried to brush off the hair he had left in your uniform before turning back to your friends who still seemed as scared.

“ w-wait.. you mean we have a .. chance?” epel’s eyes widen a bit taken aback from hearing your response to their behavior.

you shrugged, “yeah? i mean it’s not any more complicated than that..”

the first years looked at each other but just as they were about to speak you held a finger up.

“ not to cut the conversation off early boys but im hungry.. why don’t ya’ll.. try and figure this out by after lunch? okay?”

before anyone could say anything you had rushed off to the cafeteria.

they all stood their silently for a few moments before a certained someone decided to slice through the silence.

“ I called dibs on y/n first!” ace yelled and he started running off behind you.

“ like hell..” deuce muttered and right behind ace he went. the other first years didn’t take a second more before heading right after to go behind them as well.

maybe it was more complicated than that to them?
