in this short essay, i will-

i love qiqi, i absolutely adore her. her concept is really sad and i love how she's still trying her hardest to remember even the little things, no matter how hard it is.

but BOY did hoyoverse and the fanbase just really screw her up. hoyoverse screwed up her contsellations (except for c1 and c6 but those are only useful in coop) and the fanbase just makes jokes about losing the 50/50 to qiqi and im sorry, i need them to shut the fuck up. they're honestly annoying to me. like yes, you lost the 50/50. it happens. it happened to me twice -- once on childe's rerun (but i already had gotten childe so it didn't matter) and once on kazuha's. but i still got the character she is

and yea, she's not the best character. kokomi does a better job but what do you expect, you're comparing a standard banner five-star to a FUCKING LIMITED BANNER 5-STAR, OF COURSE THE LIMITED BANNER 5-STAR IS GOING TO DO BETTER. again, it's like when people compare diluc to hu tao, yoimiya and klee. OF COURSE those three are going to do better than a standard banner five-star. but don't ruin it for those who like the character. like some people make jokes about being a qiqi main for a day or making jokes about qiqi mains in general and like.... shut up <3 i don't find them very funny as a... qiqi submain??? girl is deadass in all of my teams but she's not my main dps (yet)

yea. as you can see, i love qiqi. and im very. heated. and i know hoyoverse won't do anything to buff her. look at what happened to xinyan and miko, to an extent. but goddamn it the way the fandom treats qiqi really irritates me.

One (Viktor) who lingers a little on the past but is happy and content as to where he is in the present #the other (Atlas) still mourning his dead mother and having left his abusive home. #A trans girl (Inky) who grew up in a perfectly normal household but became agoraphobic; before being ripped from her home and forced into #outside world #and Nim. someone who grew up in a trash zone with nothing to eat but garbage and is living her best life in the present. #they're literally blorbos from my brain ESPECIALLY the world they're apart of too because GOD i love it so much #What Nim's holding is called a Liabell; most if not all mosnter hunters have them for mobility. #the liabells dont work without a lullader (small-neon glowing stone looking spiders basically) inside. as it uses their incredibly tough we #to pull #but Nim's a cloven (deerways) so she's already got pretty good agility and uses their's for moreso rangling monsters. #i have SUCH a cool scene that I wanna draw (but doesn't fit my style- so i gotta commission it for sure) #where they're standing atop of an elk-like monster #and he's like- spun webs of the liabell around it's horns and its incredibly firey and its night and #GAHH #Nim's liabell isn't even like- purple- his lullader is- the liabell is clear glass with weathering copper when the lullader isnt in it. #I'm so normal about this world and all the races I've made for it. Because simply being a different race means they might use their #tools differently or not need specific ones #for example: I've got one character in my mind that's a possae (something inhabiting another thing basically) and they're a skeleton #with this massive glowing pulsating mass in it's ribcage and its all cowboy motif. (I'm thinking angel posessing it and handing out #their own retrobution in the West Zone) #and basically they use a Liabell similar to Nim but it's a lasso and they have several of them to help tie up more people.

Hes wearing a zoot suit which is a suit originated from african americans and would become popular with italians, filipinos, mexicans etc AND LIKE ITS PERFFECT FOR ARKENAS Because this type of suits were typically worn by performers due to how its easy to move around in AND HE himself is a performer as hes a very well known magician and illusionist!

Hes more of a sillay guy always looking to entertain people, but his magical performances got so good that people were struggling discerning what was real or not, enough that he was was given the title of master!

He always tries to befriend Magnus but always kinda fails at it JKHDHSD

Magnus!!! He wasnt always so serious and brooding, in fact, he was a slick playboy back in the days. But because of uhhh many plotlines and backstory that will take too long to explain hes always feels sad and empty despite not knowing why...😲

Shes known for her experimental ways of doing Alchemy, for not sticking to rules and regulations and doing whatever she wants, and in that way she had become the embodiment of alchemy in a way it is all about risky experimentation and she goes through with it because she likes the thrill!!

Because of this she had done many contributions to the field of Alchemy, despite being deemed "unproffesional" by others

As for her veil type i used a niqab! Well a half niqab specifically, as it doesnt cover the entire half of the body. Their design is influenced by Arabic fashion as well as like nurse doctor outfits in the 1900s :D

Figuring out her name was a bit tricky because im not familiar with Arabic names and i also didnt want to go to babynames.com for it because i know its a bit more complicated but i managed to get help from friends who are more qualified n knowledgable about arabic names😭 THANK YOU @lastcookieontheplate MY DEAR FRIEND
