Have you ever heard of the animation film Firebreather (2010)?
I think I actually did!!! Some years ago I bingwatched old animation movies i never seen when they first aired and i think it was one of them.
*does a quick search*
Yeah, lol now i remember I did watch it. I barely recall what happened but i distinctly remember thinking that Margaret (the mom) was the strongest human ever because she was freaking married to giant Kaiju Dragon Man King, like the most iconic Monster Loving Woman Ever (even if they divorced lol).
And now that I think about it feels like this movie came out too early for its time, im sure it would have got greater reception a bit later, after all those Kaiju and Pacific Rim movies (not to mention various monster centered games) hit mainstream for wider audience and for all the monster lovers out there xD.
and now i wanna rewatch it lol, so thank you for awakening that urge haha have a random crappy doodle now ;)

The Firebreather comics are excellent for many reasons, but you REALLY have to appreciate how whack the premise is.
There is an ancient marauding dragon. He is legally divorced. He has custody of his son on weekends; the US military enforces this arrangement. His son is orange and scaley and attends public school.
Like, obviously there's some strong allegory you can take from it, but on the surface the writers just went "dragons are real, everyone knows this, this one has marital problems, do not ask any further questions" and they made it WORK.
