Heian Era Sukuna
From an anon request <3
Pairings: Heian Sukuna x female reader
WC: 655
CW/TW: Death, blood, double penetration. It’s Heian era Sukuna. That’s its own warning.
Heian Sukuna! Who has just slaughtered some poor bastard who thought they could get out of this months tribute. Everyone knows the rules. At the end of the month, their tributes and offerings are given to the king, no exceptions.
Heian Sukuna! Who smirks as the blood from his victim was splattered onto the other now whimpering villagers nearby. They dare not move nor look up from their bowed stances, terrified they could be next.
Heian Sukuna! Who actually has both of his cocks buried deep in your cunt and ass underneath your kimono. Your legs have been quivering so harshly and your slick has been dripping down his thighs for hours now. He's yet to move you, but just being so full of his cocks has your mind in a trance.
Heian Sukuna! Who loves the feeling of your pretty pussy and ass clenching whenever he threatens a villager. And even more when he slaughters one into pieces across the room. Your soft sniffles arouse him and make his cocks throb enviously in your squeezing caverns.
Heian Sukuna! Who enjoys kissing your tears and savoring their taste every time you let them slip out from the overwhelming feeling of his fat cocks keeping you stretched painfully open. His hums of satisfaction echo in the otherwise silent room.
Heian Sukuna! Who casually flicks his hand at another villager that offered a pitiful tribute, yet not using his actual power. Instead he enjoys the screams of panic as the villager assumed it was their end. He rolls his hips up into yours when the villager breaks down sobbing, wanting a reaction from you.
Heian Sukuna! Who let's out a low growl of pleasure as your body stiffens, and your walls suck him in further. "You enjoy watching these pigs die?" He smirked as you struggle to keep your composure. Seeing you tremble and sweat as your holes are throbbing with angst is delicious in his mind.
Heian Sukuna! Who will eventually fuck you senseless in his lap, being surrounded by those who are still whimpering in fear. The splattered blood in the background paints a scenery that he finds grotesque beauty in.
Heian Sukuna! Who will later place you in the middle of the room, and unworthy villagers will be ordered to stand at your sides. Lounging in his throne, he'll use them as target practice for fun, but never hitting his precious toy.
Heian Sukuna! Who admires you as you stand before him, splattered in the blood from his work. Pretty, he thinks. Pretty enough that he'll take you to his chambers for a few more hours to melt your mind by fucking you stupid.
Heian Sukuna! Who will bathe you later, softly cleaning your flushed cheeks from the dried blood of his earlier victims. You're still drunk on lust, and nothing more than a malleable pile in his arms. He'll hold you as you finally pass out from exhaustion, cradling his treasured toy protectively.
Heian Sukuna! Who will keep you close to his side in bed as you sleep. He can't help but watch your face as it's expression is so relaxed and calm. The urge to gently caress your cheek with his knuckles always takes over before he allows himself to fall asleep.
Heian Sukuna! Who holds you safe in his arms as you both sleep. Who would move mountains for you. Who would burn the whole fucking world to the ground if you asked him to. Who loves you more than anything else that life could offer him. You complete him.
Heian Sukuna! Who will never say any of it aloud.

3| Lost - W. Maximoff
Summary: In search for a signal, you get lost in the woods and return to a worried Wanda.
Pairing: WandaMaximoffxreader
Word count: 2.9k
Tumblr media
"And?" You grin, watching her wipe the corner of her mouth with a napkin. "Are you going to get sick of it?"
Wanda sighs, a satisfied expression on her face as she shakes her head. "I doubt it."
You eye her fully clean plate. She didn't let even a single bit go to waste. The corner of your mouth twitches.
"Don't get used to it too much. For tonight, you owe me dinner since you nearly ate all of mine."
She brushes her hair behind her shoulders, nodding her head and giving you a lopsided smile that makes a weird sensation settle in your stomach. Blaming it on the sparkling water sitting on the table, you brush the sensation aside.
"Deal." Wanda mumbles, voice soft as her fingers subconsciously play with her rings. "This is the least I can do to thank you for this rather delicious food."
Taking a moment to appreciate the comfortable silence between you, you take a glance outside the window. The sun stands high in the sky, blinding light streaming through the tops of the trees.
The more you spend time in her presence without the lingering annoyance between you, the less horrible the whole misunderstanding becomes. Nevertheless, you don't rely on the feeling, knowing how easily the situation can shift once again if Wanda wants to play princess again.
You don't know each other. You are strangers trapped inside the same space with no intentions to solve it.
But you want to solve it. Not because you want her gone out of the barn but because you want to settle the misunderstanding once and for all. You are stubborn there's no denying it and the thought about letting the uncertainty lingering between you both messed with your nerves.
"I think I'll go for a walk." You breathe out before even thinking about it, the words slipping past your lips the moment they formed in your head. "Breathe in some fresh air and enjoy the scenery."
Wanda looks up from her plate, swallowing slowly. You must have something in your eyes as you see something pass over her eyes in an instant – maybe sadness?
You could ask her to join you. If it was just a simple walk in nature you would have. Nevertheless, you want to achieve something entirely different with it, something you aren't sure she would be happy to know.
"I'll see you later." You give her a small smile, standing up from the desk and putting the dishes in the dishwasher.
"See you."
~
It is getting late, the sun setting behind the mountains, throwing its last golden glow through the trees. The moment the sun disappears, coldness creeps over your fingers and up your arms. You look up at the sky, being greeted with the sight of clouds threatening to rain.
Black cloud quickly darken the sky, your feet slipping over the wet track. At first small drops fall down the sky, becoming stronger with each minute as you walk towards the barn. The weather changed so quickly you didn't find the time to return before you realized the coming storm.
The rain pours down on you, drenching your clothing with water. A few minutes pass by before you finally reach your destination.
An orange hue streams out of the window, the thought about the soon to come warmth of shelter sending a hopeful chill down your spine.
You stumble through the door, teeth shattering as you hug yourself tightly in hopes to warm you up. Your sweater clings to your skin, the heavy material soaked with water, a heavy weight on your shoulders. Leaving your shoes at the front door, covered in mud, you quickly walk into the living room. A warm fire is the only thing on your mind right now, wanting to get the ice-cold feeling out of your bones.
Wanda sits on the chair, her hands tightly clasped together as she nervously rocks back and forth. As her eyes land on you, her eyes widen as she takes in the state of you.
"Hey." You give her a smile, the sight of her cozy looking body making you slightly jealous.
"There you are." A small sigh of relief passes her lips, stopping the rocking of the chair. "I got worried. It's already so dark outside, I thought you got lost."
Her concern surprises you, the nearly empty mug of tea beside her pointing to the fact that she already sits for quite some time at the window. Did she wait for you to come back?
"You don't get rid of me that easily." You reply, eyes longingly flickering to the fireplace. "I got off the track, trying to reach a higher point in hopes of finding even one bar of service."
"Are you serious?" Wanda tilts her head to the side, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "You're really that desperate to find a way to prove that you're in the wrong?"
"False. I'm that desperate to find a way to prove that I'm in the right." You tease, enjoying the annoyance wash over her features. "You're the one who's in the wrong."
"Don't start with that again, we're both know that's not true." Wanda ignores you, pointing a finger towards you. "Now, get out of those clothes."
Your eyes widen at the sudden comment, caught off guard. "What?"
"I- I mean change into a dry pair of clothing, you can't stay like this, or you'll get sick otherwise." She quickly collects herself, but the faint tint of her cheeks gives her away. "Don't twist my words around."
She is right. The heavy material of the sweater weight you down, making it impossible to feel any warmth of the fire through the fabric.
Shrugging your shoulders, you make a small humming sound of agreement. Even though you would rather want to jump over a cliff than admit that she is indeed right, you face the other side of the room and begin to peel the drenched clothing over your head. With a bit of struggle you finally free the sweater off your skin, letting it fall to the ground with a heavy thud.
You lean forward, opening your bag laying on the ground beside the couch and fish out another cozy looking sweater. Taking a peek over your shoulder, the room rather quiet besides the occasional sounds of the fire, you glance at the redhead. The sight of her standing frozen on the spot isn't something you ever wondered could happen.
You press your lips together, the corner of your mouth twitching at the sight of her unmoving posture, eyes lingering on your skin. Her face is blank, lips parted ever so slightly as she shamelessly stares at you. Wanda would never admit it, but the sight of your back made an unfamiliar sensation of heat travel down her spine.
"Like what you see, princess?" You let the comment slip out off your mouth, catching the moment the words rip her out of the trance. "Turn around."
Swiftly, Wanda faces the other direction. You smile, letting your eyes linger on her tense shoulders for another second before opening the button of your trousers.
"You must be hungry." She fills the silence, desperately trying to steady her voice as she shakes the feelings off her skin.
It isn't a question, rather an observation. Before you can answer, Wanda moves away from the spot in front of the fire and walks towards the door. You notice the fast pace of her movements, reminding you of a deer fleeing a frighting incident.
"I'll get you some." She says, leaving you standing half naked in the living room without taking another glance over her shoulder. "Just stay here."
Wanda doesn't want to take the risk to embarrass her even further. The more she tries to hide that, the more you are certain that there is something brewing between you. Your still can't lay a finger on what that something is exactly, debating on whether she wants to push you away for two different reasons.
When she comes back with a steaming bowl of food, you are already sitting on the chair with a new, dry set of clothing on. Wanda hands you the bowl, quietly warning you that it's hot and sits down on the carpet.
Smelling the fresh smell of pasta with tomato sauce, you close your eyes for a second. Even the simplest things of food makes your heart set alight. Only now do you notice the empty feeling in your stomach, the time of your lunch a long time ago.
Giving her a smile, you want to express your gratitude to her." It smells amazing, Wanda. Thank you."
"Well, I promised to cook for you after all." She replies, leaning back on her hands and playing with the fabric of the carpet. "Even though I doubt that it tastes as good as yours. I'm not a great cook to be honest."
"Oh, don't say that. Everybody can cook and unless I'm going to fall ill because of it, there's no way you are not good at it." You try to ease her doubtful words, watching her shrug her shoulders in response. "You can sit on the couch, you know?"
Seeing her sit on the ground, only the carpet separating her from the hard wood, you point to the couch. The fluffy pillows alone should easily change her mind, a more comfortable looking spot than the white carpet.
"No, it's alright. I actually do like sitting on the ground." Wanda waves off your suggestion, crossing her legs and admiring the fire.
"That's.." You let the word hang in the air as Wanda gives you a sharp look out of the corners of her eyes. "Interesting."
She doesn't comment on it, continuing to watch the flames cracking in the fireplace. Wordlessly, you begin to eat the pasta while the redhead stares straight ahead. She clearly underestimates herself, the pasta - even though one can't do much harm to it - tasting nearly better than yours.
The warm food fills your belly, stilling the hunger within you. One should believe that the two blanket trapped over your legs and the dinner would heat your body temperature up, but somehow the icy cold feeling remains.
A shiver rushes through you, the motion looking funny under the blankets as they rock with your movements. Wanda senses your discomfort, breaking her attention off the fireplace and mustering you with attentive eyes.
"How can you still be cold?" She asks, pulling her brows together.
The action makes a small furrow appear between her eyebrows, the soft looking skin crinkling ever so barely. You don't like to see her like that, her rather pretty face transforming into one with worry and questions written all over her face.
"I don't know." You shrug your shoulders, moving your legs under the covers and crossing them. "I just am."
"Y/n?" Wanda suddenly sighs, the worry shifting to something else. "Please don't tell me you still have your socks on."
"Why? What's so wrong with that, they help warm my feet."
Wanda groans, shaking her head. "Not when they're still drenched with water."
You purse your lips, ready to tell her that she's in the wrong, but you take the chance to slightly touch the fabric of your socks under the blanket. With horror, you realize that they're indeed wet.
"How did you-"
Wanda waves you off, sitting up from the chair with an annoyed sigh." Keep quiet, and don't move. I'll get you a pair of mine."
Before you can snap at her for talking at you like that, she is out of the door. This woman - she is insufferable.
Why even bring a pair of hers? You do in fact own another pair of dry ones, not being that dumb to only pack one.
Wanda enters the living room again, another blanket under her arms and a fluffy pair of socks in her hands. Suppressing an eye roll, you take the items out of her outstretched hand and mutter a small thank-you. Not because you appreciate the gesture but because you are a decent human being.
Without a word, she turns around again, showing you the cold shoulder. Not able to hold it back, you roll your eyes.
The moment the soft socks touch your skin, replacing the icy feeling with comfortable warmth, you let out a small sigh. Wanda turns around, an expression on her face that just says "I told you so."
"What on earth did you think would happen if you go out with the sky looking all dark and gray?"
Carelessly she throws another blanket over you, shaking her head as she doesn't meet your eyes and instead stares daggers into your hands. You press your lips together, letting her storm of words continues.
You deserve it.
"Do you have a death wish?" Wanda grumbles. "The paths are uneven, even more dangerous in the rain. You could have slipped or broken an ankle if you have even so slightly tripped over a root. I wouldn't have known where to find you!"
"Careful, Wanda, or I might think you care for me already." You quietly whisper, hiding the regret passing over your face the moment you utter those words out loud.
Why are you like that? For heaven's sake, she cared for you enough to worry about you, something a very few people showed you over the span of the last year's. It only shows you how good of a person she truly is, hidden under the layers of secrecy and the walls built up around her heart.
"I do. Enough to worry about your well-being during this weather. And I do hope that you would have done the same for me. Not that I would be so stupid enough to set foot outside in the first place."
You meet her eyes, biting down on your tongue. "I'm sorry, okay? I won't do it again."
"I won't let you again." Wanda replies, her chest heaving slightly with the pressure building up in her body. "We might not be friends but.."
She stops, the sentence lingering on her tongue. You study her face, trying to search for the answer on her face. Wanda remains silent, turning her face away from yours and staring into the fire.
But what?
But the moment is lost, fleeting away in a matter of seconds, slipping out of your fingers. Wanda moves away again, returning to the spot from before and paying you no attention.
You follow her retreating form, trying to grasp on the last bit of the shared moment. But it's gone, as quick as it came as quick as it over.
She lowers herself on her knees, shaking her head and murmuring to herself. "The first day and you're already getting on my nerves."
This isn't the answer. You know it, yet you let her be, not wanting to dig even further into uncertain territory.
Instead, you get comfortable on the chair again, snuggling up in the warm cocoon of blankets. Not believing her words, you shake your head. As much as Wanda likes to repeat how much she dislikes you, you know that it's not the whole truth.
"It didn't seem like that when you nearly ate all of my lunch." You grin, watching her slowly raise her eyes up your body. "What?"
She stares at you with narrowed eyes, throwing a new wood piece into the fire. Sparks fly in the air, the cracking of the fire filling the room. You raise an eyebrow, mirroring her somewhere intense expression.
"Do not tease me."
Her voice is low, her accent thick on the last words that sends a sharp shiver down your spine. Somehow you like the way her voice changed, how the syllables roll off her tongue differently.
Wanda doesn't look like she is in a playful mood. Nevertheless, you feel little tingles in your stomach, wanting to see that side of her more often. The wish is unfathomable. It doesn't make any sense but still here you are, wishing for her to continue look at you like that, only look at you with that burning gaze.
"Mhm." You grin, watching the fire flickering in her emerald eyes. "I'll think about it. Right now it gives me great pleasure seeing you like this."
Wanda scoffs, turning back to the fireplace and warming her hands. You are not sure if your eyes deceive you, noticing a pink tint spread over her cheeks. Not able to guess if it's caused by the heat of the fire or something else, you let it go without another teasing comment.
A small smile plays around your mouth, the interaction warming you up more than any blankets could.
A/n: I'm embarrassed to see that I haven't posted on here for two months :/ But I do hope you guys liked this chapter <3 I try to do it all slowly and make 2 chapters for each day to get more story depth into the characters before the two weeks are over.

意外と悪くないで。
Surprisingly, it's not bad.
Tumblr media
久々に降りました。ちょっとだけど。そのちょっとでも気持ちいいかしら。ちょいと見に行きましょう。
It has been snowing for a while. Just a little bit. I wonder if even that little bit feels good. Let's go take a look.
Tumblr media
本日のお客様は一昨日来てくださった、スウェーデンからお越しのカップル。先日の完璧な晴れから一転、今日は久々の冬型のお山。結構景色にも感動してくれるお二人なんで景色を見せたいなと思ってたんですけどね〜。
Today's guests are a couple from Sweden who came the day before yesterday. After the perfect sunny weather the other day, today's mountain weather was winter for the first time in a long time. They are quite impressed by the scenery, so I wanted to show them the view.
Tumblr media
なんて思いながら登ってるとなんと日が射してくるではないですか!普段、どんだけ行いがいいんだこの人達は!
あ、別にガス女さんと雨女さんをディスってるわけじゃねえすよ。
As I was climbing up the mountain, the sun was shining! How good are these people in general?
Oh, I'm not dissing the gas lady and the rain lady.
Tumblr media
おかげでこんな景色を見せる事が出来ました。スウェーデンは高い山がないのでこんな雲海は見れないと喜んでいらっしゃいました。
Thanks to this, we were able to show them a view like this. They were happy that they could not see such a sea of clouds because there are no high mountains in Sweden.
Tumblr media
It's like Laputa! I asked her if Ghibli was famous there as well, and she said she especially liked Spirited Away. I would like you to see their new film,” The Boy and the Heron” It's a weird movie. It's not for people who don't like it, but I really enjoyed it.
Tumblr media
談笑しながら、ゆっくり楽しく歩く事、小一時間。ドロップポイントに到着です。
We walked slowly and happily for about an hour, chatting and laughing. We arrived at the drop point.
Tumblr media
食べる?お、アルフォート。わかってるね。外国人の皆様、このブルボン製のお菓子は信頼できるから、チェックしといた方がいいよ。ルマンドもおすすめやで。
Want some? Oh, Alfort. You know it. Foreigners, you should check out these Bourbon-made snacks, because they are reliable. I also recommend the Lumonde.
Tumblr media
そんじゃま行ってみましょうか。
Let's go there, then.
Tumblr media
うっすら新雪載っかってて見た目は悪くない。
It is not bad looking with a little fresh snow on it.
Tumblr media
滑ってみると下地は硬め。
The substrate is hard when you ski on it.
Tumblr media
まあ悪くはないが。
Well, not bad.
Tumblr media
彼女はツリーランは慣れていないというのでオープン斜面をどうぞ。
She said she was not used to tree runs, so here are the open slopes.
Tumblr media
彼はフォーフォー言いながら勢いよく降りてきました。
He came down with great vigor, saying Hooooo!!!
Tumblr media
他はガスってるのに、我々が滑るとこだけ晴れてる。ラッキー!
It's clear where we are skiing, while it's cloudy in the other areas. Lucky!
Tumblr media
標高下がると下地も柔らかくなり、木の間隔も広く、斜度も緩いので彼女も楽しそうでした。
The lower the elevation, the softer the substrate, the wider the tree spacing, and the gentler the slope, the more she seemed to enjoy it.
Tumblr media
無論、彼も。
ここ、良かったね。登り返してもう一本行く?行きたい!
And him, of course.
Here, that was nice. Do you want to climb back up and go for another one? I'd love to!
Tumblr media
登りかえしながら、植物生物学者の彼女は橅に興味津々。
While climbing back up, the plant biologist was intrigued by the beech.
Tumblr media
うわ〜。すごい模様〜。綺麗〜。
Wow. Amazing patterns. Beautiful.
Tumblr media
ほら見て、この苔。こんなの初めて見たわ。写真撮っといて。
Look at this moss. I've never seen anything like this. Take a picture.
Tumblr media
確かに橅の模様って面白いですよね。
Certainly the pattern of the beech is interesting.
Tumblr media
2本目を滑る頃には流石にガスってきました。まあ林だから問題ないけど。
By the time we skied the second run, it was foggy. Well, it's a forest, so it's not a problem.
Tumblr media
更に降ってくると、下地が更に柔らかくなり、雪は重いけど楽しかったです。
As we skied further down, the substrate became even softer and the snow was heavy but fun.

We finished a little early, so We went to eat ramen. Even though it was a weekday, all the restaurants were so crowded that I almost became a refugee from lunch, as they say. The ramen I finally ate was delicious.
Thank you for your hard work for two days!
Enjoy the rest of your trip!

beth phoenix x fem reader taking a vacation?
In the mountains || Beth Phoenix x Reader
Summary: When you and Beth finally get some time off she books the two of you a little getaway.
Tumblr media
As you step out of the car and take in the surroundings, a sense of tranquility washes over you. The mountain air is crisp and refreshing, and the scent of pine trees fills your senses. Beside you, Beth wears a wide smile that mirrors your own excitement. This cabin getaway is long overdue.
"Wow, this place is amazing," you exclaim, gazing at the cabin nestled among the trees.
Beth chuckles, her eyes twinkling. "I'm glad you like it. I thought a quiet escape to the mountains would be perfect for us."
Hand in hand, you approach the cabin and unlock the door. Inside, the rustic charm of the space instantly captures your attention. A cozy living area with a crackling fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and large windows that offer breathtaking views of the landscape – it's everything you could have hoped for.
"We have this whole place to ourselves," Beth remarks, her voice filled with delight.
The two of you explore the cabin, each room revealing more delights – a spacious bedroom with a plush bed, a snug loft area, and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub that practically invites you to unwind.
After settling in, you both decide to take a walk around the area. The scenery is simply enchanting, with winding trails leading you through the forest. The sun casts dappled shadows on the path, and the sound of birdsong accompanies your leisurely stroll. Beth's hand remains interlocked with yours, her presence a constant reminder of the love you share.
As the sun begins to set, you return to the cabin. Beth starts a fire in the fireplace, filling the room with a warm, flickering glow. The crackling flames create a cozy ambiance that sets the perfect tone for the evening.
"We should cook dinner," Beth suggests with a playful grin. "I heard there's a little grocery store nearby."
Together, you put together a delicious meal, laughing and chatting as you work side by side in the kitchen. The aroma of the food fills the cabin, making your stomach growl in anticipation.
With dinner prepared and enjoyed, you find yourselves lounging by the fireplace. Beth's arm is draped around your shoulders, her touch grounding and comforting. You talk about everything and nothing, sharing stories, dreams, and a few playful jokes along the way.
As the night deepens, you decide to venture outside. The clear mountain sky is a canvas of stars, each one twinkling in the darkness. Wrapped in a blanket, you and Beth lay back on the cabin's porch, staring up in awe.
"It's so beautiful," you murmur, your voice carrying a sense of wonder.
Beth's hand finds yours, her fingers intertwining with yours. "Just like you."
You turn to her, your heart fluttering at the sincerity in her gaze. In this serene setting, under the canopy of stars, you feel truly connected, surrounded by nature's beauty and Beth's unwavering affection.
As the night unfolds, you find yourselves retreating back into the cabin, cocooned in each other's arms. The crackling firelight dances across Beth's features, casting a warm glow. With a gentle kiss, she pulls you closer, her touch sending waves of comfort and love through your being.
This cabin, this escape to the mountains, has become a cherished memory. It's a place where you can disconnect from the world and focus on the bond you share with Beth. Wrapped up in each other's embrace, you drift into a peaceful sleep, feeling grateful for this moment of serenity and the love that guides you through it.

Sonntag seiben
1. September in the PNW means harvesting and putting in things for the winter that give hope that, at some point, we will see the sun again and taste the sweet goodness of the gifts of nature. This year is special because another generation of our family gets to decide their fate as either pickers or non-pickers. I've always been a picker since I was probably a bit older than Henry; My grandmere and I would dutifully pick the tiny delicious huckleberries right on the border of Idaho and Montana, and one of our favourite patches was yards away from where one of her relatives surveyed in the state lines of Montana(plot twist: it's backwards). My mom, on the other hand, was born a non-picker who often loved finding a nice shady spot with a book. Thankfully, as she and I were both raised as only children, she has become a picker because berries won't pick themselves and blackberries are awful to pick. And Buggy was such a trooper: he started off picking berries but then he just wanted to eat berries even double fisting them. Tradition can be so delicious.
2. I finished my 2 weeks at Medline on Saturday, and they were absolutely good people for whom to work. And on Tuesday, I start with a municipal organization in emergency mitigation services, which should be a good job. Its a serious pay cut from Cosmo, but I cant wait any longer. And with graduation looming for me at CWU and my MBA application submitted, my options are expanding by the day. I refuse to be blind to the silver lining to my loss of my job at Cosmo, and I am open to the lessons that the universe is teaching me.
3. So for a long time I couldn't wrap my head around affirmations, but now that I'm doing them, I feel different. I think maybe, just maybe, the reset has begun and I'm looking at how I reclaim grace. To all who helped: much love.
4. To all of you who do online tutoring, what do you think of it? I have some expertise, and I think I could parlay it into a little more income and use it for the benefit of others. Thoughts?
5. We find out this week what sort of pre-k/transitional kindergarten programme Buggy will be in this fall. And, cool thing: H was also accepted into our local college and is going to be finishing her degree in Chemical dependency counseling. Her sobriety not withstanding, she is so smart and if she wouldn't have had her oldest son so young she could have done anything. She was studying to become a nurse when "life" and a few other things got in the way, and I think how much of a loss it was, truly. So having her go back to school is truly making sure the smartest person in this house gets to use that amazing brain for good of others and not just making good stuff like the boule in the picture.
6. Jimmy Buffet and Bill Richardson, on the same day? I got to meet Bill and hear him speak, and he was truly a champion for the forgotten and unjustly imprisoned. And Jimmy... I heard so many stories of him playing the Elbow room in Dutch Harbour and Tony's in Kodiak that, turns out were all true. While he might have been seen as a brand, some of his lyrics really hit my old broken down ass self pretty hard. And like his lyric said,
"I hope you're enjoying the scenery
I know that it's pretty up there
We can go hiking on Tuesday
With you I'd walk anywhere
California has worn me quite thin
I just can't wait to see you again"
Peace be with them...
7. The agates and the quartz glass are from a local beach, and 3 generations of hands have touched them. 3...Somewhere, my father figure is proud and glad it took(and that his great grandson loves rocks and getting dirty, just like him).
If you are still reading this, don't labour tomorrow. Rest. Relax. It's been a hard 9 months, and judging by our mountain ash bushes here, it's going to be a long miserable winter. Many blessings yall, and be kind to yourselves and take a moment. If my stubborn ass can finally say, and mean it, "I love the person I am becoming", you can too.
Much love!!!!

korea (finally)
there are events in your life that scars you forever. and unfortunately, korea seems to be a country that has scared me forever - twice. i get emotional and confused about korea. but i also get sentimental about korea.
finally, i visited korea, and i stayed around for a few weeks.
first, i was confused by everything that the current korea had to offer. the landscape was eye catching - airport on an island, skyscrapers surrounded by mountains, tight rows of apartments, interweaving roads throughout the country side, etc. and i was surprised by how crowded it was, or more like how much space i have in the us. public spaces were mostly clean. food and drinks were delicious. everything was so easy and convenient. but i also saw a lot of unhappy faces - something i remember from my prior visit. people can be extremely friendly but also cold like new yorkers. the beauty was sometimes overshadowed by the ugliness. back alley behind the main streets fool of young kids smoking and spitting. contrasts everywhere. stuck somewhere in the middle of old and new, nice and good, beautiful and ugly.
second, i was depressed and emotional. for me, korea is a place where our family left. also a place where we left behind our loved ones. i struggled to find the loved ones and had a day of mourning and self-blame of my stupidity. this trip was meant to be wonderful, but there was a day of near depression and semi meltdown, sweating and palpitating. the old memories were haunting and i struggled. never have i felt this way while traveling and away from home. it was a struggle and very challenging. to be honest, i don't think i will ever overcome it. my body will react subconsciously. at the same time, i know i will have to go back and face it again. because i must.
third, i tried to enjoy korea as best as i can. despite the confusion and the emotional roller coaster, i was accompanied by my favorite travel companion. we did find true beauty, true deliciousness.
some of the scenery, of south korea.

You'll have a memorable opportunity to step foot on the hallowed ground and witness the awe-inspiring scenery that surrounds the base camp.
After spending some time at Everest Base Camp, taking in the grandeur of the Himalayas and capturing memorable photographs, you will board the helicopter for the return journey. After a sunny afternoon on Kourouta Beach, we started our 3 hour drive to Itea, a small seaside town on the mainland, where we will be staying for 1 night.
Since the Grecian landscape is 80% mountains, scenic views are almost inevitable. We started in the southern Peloponnese region, which has a more humid climate, resulting in lush greenery and taller trees. We passed through Patras, the 3rd largest city in Greece. According to our guide Sylvia, this is the place to catch a ferry to Italy if you don’t want to fly. Soon after, we passed over the Rio-Antirrio bridge, which connects the Peloponnese to mainland Greece over the Gulf of Corinth. This architectural feat was designed to withstand earthquakes, which are common in the area. The water underneath the bridge is over 60 meters deep in some places, so its construction is a feat of itself.
Tumblr media
After we crossed the bridge, we stopped at a nearby rest area where we all enjoyed sampling some delicious Greek pastries and snacks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As we got closer to our destination, we watched the green landscape transform into rockier terrain. In this area, bauxite mining is common, which gives many of the mountains a reddish-orange appearance.
Tumblr media
Even though our drive was over 3 hours, the beautiful scenery helped to pass the time (even though pictures can never do it justice). We were excited to finally arrive to Itea!
