Happy Fíli Friday my guys! Our favourite time of the week. I don’t even remember where I was going with this tbh.

He’s a confident one, our Fíli. We’ve all seen that strut, the way he can command the attention of a room (his little speech in Bag End, anyone?). He doesn’t need to be the loudest to be heard, or more importantly, followed. And breaking the fourth wall a bit, he didn’t need a lot of screen time to make us all fall in love with him. He’s a real gem, our Fíli!

Here’s a thought for you. Just imagine for a moment having all that intensity focused solely... on... you.

Not even in an ‘in bed’ kind of way (though that is an entirely different discussion). I’m talking more in those precious moments right before a first kiss, when it’s livewire eye contact and you’re so close to each other you’re sharing air. When the entire room doesn’t matter anymore because you’re completely lost in him. Those few seconds right before his lips are crashing onto yours, when all of that attention and self confidence is being channeled into him figuring out if you want it too- that you feel the same way- that he has *permission* (he’s big on that, obviously. Dís raised a gentleman.) and to him no one else matters. Not even a little, everyone else be damned no matter what is going on.

You’ll know when he registers that permission, when something flicks on behind those gorgeous blues. Then he kisses you and all bets are off.

Or when it has nothing to do with attraction or kissing or sex. Maybe it’s just the way the rest of the hall falls away when you call his name and he looks your way. Did everyone fall silent, or does his attention just tune the rest of it out for you? Would you forget the rest of the world existed while he had you wrapped up in his arms? Or during a quiet conversation in a loud room?

osamu doesn’t know whether he loves you or hates you because although you keep his brother occupied and away from him, the volume when you’re together being absolutely astronomical makes him want to kick yall out of the house. atsumu teases you a lot and loves when you do it back; the fact that you’re constantly matching his energy makes him fall for you so much more. he loves food and after you introduced filipino cuisine to him, he demanded you guys have it every friday night for dinner (he officially dubbed it “filifridays”) — mans loves lechon and definitely will try balut just to prove he can eat it (he would rub it in osamu’s face afterwards for sure). being a popular kid in school, he takes you to a lot of parties and will waste no opportunity to show you off as his girlfriend. he posts about you on his instagram all the time, saying stuff like “damn, my girlfriend is so hot” and “the view is pretty but i think you’re prettier”. life with him is exciting and he always makes you feel so free, allowing you to forget about the responsibilities and pressures of the world that make you feel stressed. he loves taking you out for drives in his car, windows down with bubble tea in the cup holders as you enjoy the breeze and just live in the moment. he’s not always this carefree though; being the perfectionist he is, you always have to remind to stop being so hard on himself. you’re very supportive and know how to comfort him, which makes him want to protect and treasure you and your relationship even more. in those soft moments when you’re not being the chaotic couple you are, you guys love to cuddle on the couch, limbs entangled as you hold each other close. you fall asleep to the steady rise and fall of his chest, smiling as you wonder what adventure he’s going to take you on next.

Elenor likes to scale the mountain. Indoors, outdoors, you name it (normally in some remote cavern or some such- she gets odd looks from the dwarves if she does it in the city centre). Sometimes she’ll sneak off to help Bofur and Bifur check out the older mines- this gives Kíli heart attacks. She spent most of her time with Radagast in the Greenwood, and loved climbing the trees just to see how far she could get- no trees in Erebor, so she makes do with the rocks. (She’s swear you to secrecy, because if Kíli found out he’d kill her, but sometimes she doesn’t even wear the harness he scrounged for her)

Poppy on the other hand is much like other hobbits, and prefers milder hobbies. Namely quilting. She hates cutting the fabric, but designing the top? Her absolute favourite. The fact that the bigger it gets the more it covers her and the warmer she is in the big cold Lonely Mountain is just a bonus!
